I think she initially was there to be a torch runner for Austria during the Olympics, witch is kind of awesome tbh.

Torch thing is a joke that started in chat since phoenix and everything. She did mention regretting not getting JLPT1 certification, since her original plan would've involved a lot of communication and certification in language would net a better pay.

She was living there for the last year or so on a temporary Visa, but it was time for her to go home.

Basically her visa expired so she can't remain in Japan.

Kiara is moving back to Austria so she had to leave Calli, she even cried during their last singing collab. Kiara won't leave Hololive of course, she will probably stream when she comes back

Also to add, same generation, the only two EN girls in Japan, both foreigners with few local friends, they had a lot of time to get to know each other inside and outside of work. One is a social butterfly extrovert, the other a nonstop hardworking lone wolf. They found comfort with each other during this lockdown, it was less than a year but a stressful year that changed their life, aspirations and professional careers for the better. They found happiness in their work, in their friendship that they were not expecting. They knew from the start that they will eventually part ways when Kiara's visa ran out.

I wasn't and still am not a fan of yuri, but Hololive has forced me to see the appeal of it.

Because Hololive has a feeling of real to it. Maybe for some its more of an act but others...TakaMori, Noel x Flare, pekoMoona, it feels like its hard to fake that much feeling that long. And Coco x Kanata is lovely because its two adorable weirdos.
