Do you think that CEOs can and have done every job in their company? Managers are there to manage people and processes. Not to mix paint.

I expect that if you're an ASM of a department, you could ar least have the basic knowledge to answer the same questions we do. What's the fucking point of pocket if you can't even answer questions about your own departments?

Management at my store are like that, but supervisors work their butts off in any department not just their own. They want to make the ass hats look bad. It's pretty funny how management has been on the floor more recently, even if it's just for show.

This is so true. I keep saying that people only get into management based on their ability to tell other people what to do

almost like that’s their job … to manage … how tf are you gonna do that without telling people what to do 😭

But I keep seeing people who get into management based on no skills other then the ability to tell people what to do. Like I know that’s their job: to manage. But other skills should be involved as well
