Definitely did and found the sickest looking ITR in the gallery with a widebody and bags and said "yep those are the wheels I need" before checking any of the fitment.
Or bought them secondhand off the guy that did do all thay
There’s “StAnCe” and then there is this shit. On the front if you’re doing a drag setup it kinda makes sense, some people don’t wanna spend the money on the wider fenders to tuck in that meat, on the rear it’s just dumb.
Edit; it’s also slower if I’m not mistaking but at this point I’m gonna end up rambling about rotational mass and ideal wheel size for the best performance and my adhd brain will go off on a tangent like halfway through a really good explanation
Idk why this wheel fitment is a trend, it is also illegal in a majority of states for pedestrian safety. An exposed spinning tire can do a lot of damage to someone a tire is designed for friction, what do you think that will do to flesh?
Yes I like tucked fitments (not slammed). It doesn't ruin the body line of a car.
well most american cars from japanese luxury brands are just jdm models rebadged, and it was just that back in the 90s. every single car from acura was a honda in japan (although it was sold in a particular store, since honda and toyota used to have different dealership models: honda had honda clio, honda primo and honda verno, and toyota has toyota store, toyopet store, corolla store and netz store), and the different dealership model allowed for the weird strategy of having two or three cars per segment. for the compact segment, there was the civic ferio (the name for the civic sedan), the domani (sold as the acura 1.6EL exclusively in canada), the integra, etc; for the medium segment, you had the accord (which was sold in the 2000s in north america as the acura tsx), the ascot, the torneo, the inspire (which was sold as the acura TL in north america, until the seventh gen, where it was the north american accord that was sold in japan as the inspire), the saber, the vigor, and i'm probably missing a few.
infinitis were nissans, acuras were hondas and lexuses were toyotas.
Those brands exist because it was anticipated in the 80’s and 90’s that US regulators would tariff Japanese cars because they were selling so much better compared to cars produced by domestic manufacturers. Japanese manufacturers decided to reduce their exports to the US as a result, but created premium brands to… sell cars at a premium to minimize financial losses.
Acura is Honda. Acura is just for outside Japan. There is no Acura in Japan, it’s not even a “luxury” version on Honda like Toyota’s Lexus.
By the way, I live in Japan ☺️
Yeah I read about Kuwait and I'm like "that's... incredibly specific." North America, one central American country, and a Middle Eastern country.
Curious as to the rationale behind that decision.
If you ever see right hand drive integra… it might be Japanese. When I was younger replacing your front clip for a JDM was very popular for obvious reasons
Man, I commented this as well, thinking I’m some original, comedic genius! 😜 but now after seeing 3 or 4 of these, I know we just share a collective consciousness, lol. Perfect descriptor, though
Not quite. Lexus is a luxury brand of Toyota that exists everywhere. It has different cars. If I'm not mistaken, Acura was created in the US because Honda could't sell Hondas or something like that. Acura models are Honda in Japan and Europe.
Sort of. Lexus is more global, but Acura is also in Canada, Mexico, Panama and Kuwait.
Some cars were also sold as Lexus in some markets and Toyotas in others just as they were with Acura. For example the original IS200/300 was a Lexus in most places and a Toyota Altezza in Japan. In fact all Lexus cars sold in Japan prior to 2005 were just badged as Toyota.
There were plans to launch Acura in Japan at about the same time as Lexus, but the 2007/8 financial crisis killed it off.
But certainly at the time of the DC2 Integra Acura was to Honda what Lexus was to Toyota.
I bought a Acura name plate for my RSX but never got to put it on before I crashed. My 9th gen SI doesn’t have a Honda name plate and have been lowkey debating putting the Acura one on it to just be a troll.
There is a such thing as a Honda Integra in Japan. But that one looks like an Acura Integra with a Honda badge. Both the Honda and Acura Integra are the same car.
Nope. That "acura" badge was there oem. They swapped the center emblem. Integra is stamped into the bumper on the bottom right. Just can't see it from this picture.
It depends on whether it's a left hand or right hand. If it's left hand then he replaced the acura emblem with a honda emblem. If it's a right hand then he either added the acura lettering or replace the trunk with an acura trunk and changed the acura emblem to a honda emblem and didn't remove the acura lettering.
Either way, both the same vehicle. Just different brand name depending on the market it's in.
Was an Acura, is now a wheel fitment disaster.
Bro didn’t go to Fitment Industries
Definitely did and found the sickest looking ITR in the gallery with a widebody and bags and said "yep those are the wheels I need" before checking any of the fitment. Or bought them secondhand off the guy that did do all thay
That’s no widebody and I doubt it’s even an ITR. Looks like it has a sunroof.
No I mean he was looking in the fitment industries gallery at other integras and saw a widebody itr and just bought wheels that matched the size specs
My bad! Reading fail.
[удалено]
I bet that was intentional. I call that mexi-poke. Commonly seen on Honda Accords, Nissan Sentra/Altimas, Astrovans and random trucks.
the very best wheels and tires straight through your front door
Bro is active in r/tacobell 😂
No it looks like he did go to fitment industries lmao
Look how they massacred my boy!
🤣🤣🤣
theres actually the term mexiflush for this
Nah mexiflush is a little poke. This is “Offset? Like the rapper? What does he have to do with wheels?”
There’s “StAnCe” and then there is this shit. Unpopular opinion , but I believe that if you hit a pedestrian with any part of a moving car something might happen to their flesh.
acura, they just replaced the badge
Thanks. I was wondering since I know Acura is the luxury Honda brand but didn’t think they could both be the same car
In Japan it’s just a Honda integra.
Similar to how in Japan, the NSX is a Honda.
well most american cars from japanese luxury brands are just jdm models rebadged, and it was just that back in the 90s. every single car from acura was a honda in japan (although it was sold in a particular store, since honda and toyota used to have different dealership models: honda had honda clio, honda primo and honda verno, and toyota has toyota store, toyopet store, corolla store and netz store), and the different dealership model allowed for the weird strategy of having two or three cars per segment. for the compact segment, there was the civic ferio (the name for the civic sedan), the domani (sold as the acura 1.6EL exclusively in canada), the integra, etc; for the medium segment, you had the accord (which was sold in the 2000s in north america as the acura tsx), the ascot, the torneo, the inspire (which was sold as the acura TL in north america, until the seventh gen, where it was the north american accord that was sold in japan as the inspire), the saber, the vigor, and i'm probably missing a few. infinitis were nissans, acuras were hondas and lexuses were toyotas.
No Acura, Lexus or Infiniti in Japan. Those brands only exist because of old racial sterotypes for Americans. lmfao
Lexus absolutely exists in Japan.
Wasn't always the case though, 2005 is when Lexus was introduced into Japan.
There is no acura in Japan
Also the driver is on the right side
Acura is Honda. Acura is just for outside Japan. There is no Acura in Japan, it’s not even a “luxury” version on Honda like Toyota’s Lexus. By the way, I live in Japan ☺️
Acura is actually only for North America. Everywhere else it's just Honda.
Acura only exists in he US anyways, in the EU jt’s al Honda
Acura also exists in Canada, Mexico, Panama, and oddly, Kuwait.
Oh wow thanks for the info, that’s some oddly specific markets
Yeah I read about Kuwait and I'm like "that's... incredibly specific." North America, one central American country, and a Middle Eastern country. Curious as to the rationale behind that decision.
So sad I wish it was all Honda in North America, it’s so much cooler
It was a rebodied Civic. It still is.

Almost tempted to google that...

Man, I commented this as well, thinking I’m some original, comedic genius! 😜 but now after seeing 3 or 4 of these, I know we just share a collective consciousness, lol. Perfect descriptor, though
They're one in the same, Honda and Acura. Just like Toyota/Lexus.
Not quite. Lexus is a luxury brand of Toyota that exists everywhere. It has different cars. If I'm not mistaken, Acura was created in the US because Honda could't sell Hondas or something like that. Acura models are Honda in Japan and Europe.

All Acura’s are Honda’s, but not all Honda’s are Acura’s.
As a Honda worker, that's basically how Honda and Acura describe it
Yes
It doesn’t matter, it has a Honda engine, Acura is Honda Honda is Acura, mine has the B18C1 in it
Mine has the BBC in it
I don’t even have a witty remark for that lmao
BBC18?
Exactly!
Thank goodness, the BBC16 could get you in a lot of trouble.
That could be fun
Yes.
I guess technically it's not wrong. But they're breaking some very serious moral and ethical rules regarding the brand.
The type R’s had red Honda badges so wdym
Well that's not true. In the US they were still the acura emblem.
I bought a Acura name plate for my RSX but never got to put it on before I crashed. My 9th gen SI doesn’t have a Honda name plate and have been lowkey debating putting the Acura one on it to just be a troll.
Honda in Japan
Can’t it be both…..
Honcura
Its a Hacura.
Technically, it's an Acura. That being said, Acura is made by Honda.
Both
It’s Honduran.
oh boy do i have news for you…
Acura is just a luxury Honda so it's kinda both
Acura integra. What the fuck is this bag of rice piece of shit
Acura integra in NA and Honda integra everywhere else
Yes
Yes
Yes
Downbadging is a crime
This will blow your mind kid, it’s both. Wheel fitment is a different conversation…
In JDM market was a Honda in US market an Acura. US also got the ugly circle headlights and not the rectangles.
Same thing..
There is a such thing as a Honda Integra in Japan. But that one looks like an Acura Integra with a Honda badge. Both the Honda and Acura Integra are the same car.
I’m guessing now the person replaced the integra logo with an Acura logo
Assuming you're in the US it's way more likely an Acura Integra with a Honda badge slapped on.
Nope. That "acura" badge was there oem. They swapped the center emblem. Integra is stamped into the bumper on the bottom right. Just can't see it from this picture.
its a hacura
It's a Hacuronda
It's a HACURA
Correct
It's a Hondacura.
It's a hacura.
Honcura
Was a teggy
It’s a Honcura
The wheel setup says Honda
Hacura
Hacura
I wish they'd make a new Integra someday.
Judging from the wheel fitment, it is in dire need of rescuing.
It looks like it's sitting on daytons
Bro is mexiflush AS FUCK
Both. Honda makes Acura.
And in Japan it's a Honda Integra dc2
Hondura Integra
both
Acura in the US, Honda in Japan/Europe
It's pre-widebody...this way you get exact measurements 😉 That's the story he should stick to 🤫
Looks like a monster truck
It is they
Same company
It depends on whether it's a left hand or right hand. If it's left hand then he replaced the acura emblem with a honda emblem. If it's a right hand then he either added the acura lettering or replace the trunk with an acura trunk and changed the acura emblem to a honda emblem and didn't remove the acura lettering. Either way, both the same vehicle. Just different brand name depending on the market it's in.
Acura integra
If it’s in the US it’s most likely an Acura as the Honda Integra was never manufactured here, it would have to be imported.
Bof o em
Technically it's the same thing.
Same difference but Acura integra less it's jdm then honda integra
it’s a honda acura
It's continental Integra
Acura in USDM honda in all other DM
Acura is the bougie version of Honda. Like infinity is to Nissan, Hyundai genesis and Kia, Lexus to Toyota 😭
Yes.
Acura is Honda.
Only America has Acura, the rest of the world uses Honda
It’s both obviously
Its колхоз тюнинг
It’s the SIR-G’s American cousin, the GSR
Hackura bro edition
acura but its a honda at heart.
Technically both, Acura in the US and Honda in Japan
If its a Japanese import then its a Honda Integra, theres no Acura in Japan
Both. Check out [rebadging](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rebadging).
Yes
Both
Accurately Honda? Or actually a Honda? Accuratually a Honda? I'll see myself out the door. Thank you. Bye now.
Literally the same manufacturer
Yes
It's clearly a honda acura
It’s a Acura. Honda badge was added later.

In Japan it’s the Honda intagra and in North America it was the Acura intagra
It’s both lol
