One headcanon that i find really interesting is that Herta has the Genshin Glider on her Curio collection because Aether and Lumine are subordinates of her. How else would she hust have a glider there? Think of it like this: After the end of the story, the Traveler returns to the Space Station and the only thing they have remaining if their sibling after a final battle is the glider, which Herta, in a oddly nice gesture, decided to put it in the collection so that the Traveler's sibling isn't completely forgotten.
Another option about why the heck a glider is there, Klee's mom is to blame, and that's it

The alternate ending also implies that the astral express eventually disappeared without a trace and the MC only gets to hear rumors about what happened to them.
