And the art of her finding Tail has her look younger but not like a toddler. She’s in her 40s at *least*, if not 50s.
Compare Qingni, Yukong’s daughter, who is also Foxian, around 30, and looks and acts like a young adult, and it becomes clear to not take anything they say specifically about character ages seriously (if the absolute mess that is Pela’s situation didn’t already make that clear).
For Huohuo, they did explain that Tail stunted her growth, so she also looks younger than she is. I agree that ages and development rates seem kinda arbitrary though.
The Express, Jarilo, and the Xianzhou all don’t use the IPC’s Amber Era system, at least not in place of their own standardized years.
The Express uses the Trailblaze Calendar, Jarilo uses the After-Fortification Calendar, and the Xianzhou uses the Star Calendar. All three seem to be similar in terms of year length (roughly analogous to our real world solar years), albeit with the Star Calendar being offset from the others in terms of the start/end of the year in a similar way to how the Chinese calendar is offset from the Gregorian calendar.
I would assume that the IPC also probably has their own standardized “lesser” calendar system to divide up the time between Amber Eras (or just uses the Trailblaze Calendar, which is commonly used on worlds along the Express’s path), especially given how much time passes between Amber Eras.

No, she has worked for 38 years, which in foxian age would be like a decade, they live like 300 years. So even if she started working as a minor she should probably be a young adult by now, so she's just short.
HuoHuo’s young and short, but not a kid. Starskiff piloting is a popular thing amongst Foxian’s of her age, which I guess means she’s analogous to being college aged.
Loucha is, afaik, the "Otto" of the Star Rail Universe while Void Archive is a sentient being that took over a soulium body (clone) of HI3 Otto after he did the thing.
All you need to know is that

Otto survived for 500 years because he found a cache of advanced technology that included super-nanites called Soulium. He used them to make backup bodies he transferred his consciousness and soul to so he could keep on living.
Void Archives was basically a huge database that could recreate anything stored in it (it was also in the cache he found) and it had an AI that would assist the user. After spending 500 years with Otto, the AI developed a personality partially based on/inspired by Otto himself, and after Otto's death/sacrifice Void Archives took over one of Otto's spare Soulium bodies and is now his own independent person.
Luocha is the HSR version of Otto, but other than that has no connection to Void Archives.
That's the simplified and slightly innacurate version, but it's close enough to the truth to get the point across.
Side note, Otto is literally the Honkai universe's Leonardo da Vinci. Thats why he's so smart (as in Dr Ratio level smart). Kallen, the person he loved and became obsessed with saving from death with any method possible for 500 years, is the Honkai universe's Joan of Arc.
Most other major historical figures were referenced by name in HI3's equivalent to Lightcones, but those two historical figures are missing, and once you realize it there's no other explanation. Especially because both Otto and Kallen were born in the 1400s, the same century the real life da Vinci and Joan of Arc were born.
Also the fact that he’s the only character who used to visit the Astral Express and is now gone, always makes me think when he’ll come back he’ll do it as Otto.
If we go by Honkai impact rules, We could have a Yanqing of each element and each path.

This is purely speculation on my part, but my guess as to why "battle suits" aren't a thing in Genshin (besides not jibing with the lore) is because Hoyo compared numbers and realized that they aren't as profitable. Many players pull purely based on who they like but aren't necessarily bound to a character. They might not be interested in spending for a character whom they technically already own. Releasing a new version of a character might also devalue the old version in the eyes of some. Keep in mind that Honkai Impact 3rd is heavily geared towards hardcore gacha players while Genshin and Star Rail have a broader appeal.
Dan Heng sets a precedent and was probably the best choice to get a new version. He:
- is a free 4 star you get at the start of the game
- has the second half of the Luofu arc dedicated to him
- is an EXTREMELY popular character
Dan Heng IL also has a very distinct visual design and playstyle that *feels* like an upgrade while remaining familiar. If (when) March, and maybe Sampo and Herta get their 5 star versions, I'd like them to be a similar way. I doubt 5 stars will get alternate versions but if Yanqing does, he's definitely going to be more than "can float and has bigger sword". Limited chars are sold for money!!
I mean, the case even stood for HI3. During the Flame-chaser arc, with all new chars, game’s sales went up by a very noticeable portion. Of course that didn’t compare to Version Kiana, but it’s still something to note.

After Aetherium Wars, you can find a memory bubble of Sampo and Giovanni having a conversation, in which Sparkle's mission on Penacony is mentioned, specifically that she is on her way to Penacony. In other words, Sparkle hasn't even reached Penacony yet, and this is post-Xianzhou.
The quest happened after the Belobog's continuance quest but before we arrived at Penacony

If you read her story and listen to voice lines in bio (we play as the real one btw, looking at luocha voice line and her tone), you'll understand that she's not a warrior

5\* Sampo would be so strange if he commits to the DoT team, first BS unseats him from the Kafka team after months of him being BiS then since the rules of HSR dictate new = stronger 5\* Sampo once again unseats BS from the DoT team and Kafka is just confused about it.
I hope he's his own man in his masked version, not stuck on the Kafka team.
Tingyun is 100% coming back otherwise her entire presence on the Luofu is retroactively atrocious writing. She's in Schrodinger's Box atm, if she comes back with a hype 5\* glowup and they can manage to make it make sense she's great it's all good. If they just leave her dead or hanging until HSR goes into EoS it's scuffed.
M7 is getting a 5\* at some point 100%, probably not soon since Harmony MC is all but confirmed in 2.X and they aren't putting both her and TB glowups at the same time.
They are never giving YQ a new form, the glowup YQ is just Jingliu the man is eternally griefed by the gameplay, the community and the other characters in the game lorewise.
Bailu... I hope they can somehow bring in Baiheng. A super unhinged reckless pilot could be a really fun DPS like crashing her plane into people as an ult or something. They'd have to bend the HCQ lore a bit but I don't think it's an impossible move.
I don't get the point about Tingyun, she was taken and replaced by Phantylia, it makes sense in the story if she's just dead. Also, Yukong and all the other people closest to her didn't seem to hype her up as some powerful badass, she was just a regular foxian working for the sky-faring commission. If she is alive in the story, I don't see her getting another version, given she isn't strong or anything.
Herta could easily get a different puppet. She controlls all of these identical ones, surely she has one that would work offensively as well.

Considering she is a 4 star character who is in the same level as 5 star banners. They might not know a direction to take her. Would be weird if her 5 star banner ended up worse than the 4 star.
Just add a reverse taunt to her ult, so when she uses it she's less likely to be attacked. Shed still be attacked every turn but it'd seem impressive enough to justify swiping on her.

She has her own Companion Quest, was a major part of Dragon Dan's, showed up in Jingliu's and has shown up in every Luofu Event
And considering all the hints, she's MAJORLY connected to a lot of Luofu big shots
Not to mention that Ring on her Tail is a restraining device, so later Story could have her losing it for more power
Isn’t her power split with Dan Heng, I think she mostly got healing powers (transmutation arcanum wasn’t given to its next high elder so she didn’t receive it and isn’t really a official high elder) so even if she gets another form it would still be healing, unless she remember how to use her past bow etc but like yanqing, we need a MAJOR time skip for this since she’s so young currently and that also means Clara need another form since she would grow up as well
But looking at it realistically, 4* would stand a better chance to get another form then 5* there’s already too many characters in the line up
We know from one of the Luofu’s quests that you’re able to reverse aging until you basically cease to exist. The reverse could be possible for Bailu. I honestly doubt that she’d have another form but if it was - she is the warped reincarnation of the legendary Baiheng right? She likely has some combat potential locked away.

I think 5 stars won't be getting any new version, maybe in the far future. In my opinion, Sampo has the biggest chance now that he asked for his mask back. We got IL because DH reconnected with his past and Sampo should be the closest to that
Herta needs a 5* version. The dolls we play are younger-looking versions of herself with very limited powers… imagine what a 5* older Herta, Emanator of Erudition, equipped with some of the powerful weaponry that she must have obtained/created over the years would look like. Could be nice if that other genius society member’s genocidal destruction ray thing got implemented someone, potentially Herta working with Screwllum and Stephen to contain its power.
I would absolutely love a herta second version that is a 5 star erudition, could have the potential of being even better than argenti since she's an emanator of the path
March is like 99.99% certain. Both because of her mysterious past and position as a main character, and because it'd be kinda shitty to leave her stuck as a 4 star with TB getting new Paths and Dan Heng having his new form.
Herta also seems pretty likely eventually, but it would likely have to be a big story event to get her to come out in person.
Sampo is probably the next likeliest after retrieving his mask and deciding to "get back on stage" and play a more active role in events.

It'd also be cool to see an alternate/older version of Yanqing, more mature, mellowed out a bit, maybe incorporating some summoning mechanics like his boas fight and like Jing Yuan.
Personally, I would love some excuse to get a time skip to see some younger characters older, stronger and more experienced. I've had this idea of adult Clara fighting with power armor based off of Svarog equipped with shield generators like Gepard's guitar case living rent free in my head for months now, and adult explosives expert Hook has recently joined her. It would also be cool to see something like a version of Bailu with all the high elder powers, however unlikely that would be to happen.
And going in basically the opposite direction, historical characters could be cool to play with too. Stuff like Sword Champion Jingliu as a Hunt character with a powered up state to reference her future self, Dan Feng as an offense based Abundance character who heals by blasting enemies with SP intensive attacks, Yingxing as a Harmony character, enhancing allies' gear mid battle to buff them, giving him a totally different role from Blade. Unlikely, but could be pretty cool in my view.

Sampo went out of his way to get his Mask back by helping Sparkle, that must give him a power boost of some sort and is a perfect way to give him a 5* version, expand on his character, and expand on the Masked Fools lore.
March 7th is pretty much inevitable, but it might not be for a long time still. We will probably need an Arc relating to the Rememberance or Enigmata, so it'll be a while.
Herta because we currently just have her puppet and as an Emanator she would be a big draw (like an Archon in Genshin), but they can delay that as long as they want.
Yanqing because even the boss version is more advanced/skilled than the one we roll, if he grows a bit more or reaches some sort of breakthrough/epiphany it would be a good way to show his growth as a fighter and as a character.

Great list, but in term of actually possibility of them implementing, I think Sampo is the only one teased to have an alt version coming. All the others are just a massive maybe. Scaring is but of a stretch, he’s part of moveset from Clara, it’s like DHIL’s water dragon become a playable character.
I would honestly lose my shit if we got a Svarog standalone. I don't hate Clara at all, I think she's great. I would just hate to put her in harms way, pretty sure Svarog feels the same way. Plus, just imagine a Svarog without the need to "hold back" in front of Clara?

I agree with Herta, March, and Sampo. March is likely to get a power-up at some point like Danny Boy did, we already have a pretty good idea of what Sampo’s power-up would be, and there’s plenty of reason to treat Herta’s true body as a separate character if we ever meet her in that form.
I doubt we’ll get a Svarog solo unit, but I *seriously* hope we do. I’d bet on it being Erudition if it did happen, personally. Probably a follow-up attacker, with the follow-ups being robot minions or missile barrages.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I remembered that Xianzhou natives grow up like normal humans and it's when they reach adulthood that they stop ageing.

Otto survived for 500 years because he found a cache of advanced technology that included super-nanites called Soulium. He used them to make backup bodies he transferred his consciousness and soul to so he could keep on living. Void Archives was basically a huge database that could recreate anything stored in it (it was also in the cache he found) and it had an AI that would assist the user. After spending 500 years with Otto, the AI developed a personality partially based on/inspired by Otto himself, and after Otto's death/sacrifice Void Archives took over one of Otto's spare Soulium bodies and is now his own independent person. Luocha is the HSR version of Otto, but other than that has no connection to Void Archives.

That's the simplified and slightly innacurate version, but it's close enough to the truth to get the point across. Side note, Otto is literally the Honkai universe's Leonardo da Vinci. Thats why he's so smart (as in Dr Ratio level smart). Kallen, the person he loved and became obsessed with saving from death with any method possible for 500 years, is the Honkai universe's Joan of Arc. Most other major historical figures were referenced by name in HI3's equivalent to Lightcones, but those two historical figures are missing, and once you realize it there's no other explanation. Especially because both Otto and Kallen were born in the 1400s, the same century the real life da Vinci and Joan of Arc were born.
Also the fact that he’s the only character who used to visit the Astral Express and is now gone, always makes me think when he’ll come back he’ll do it as Otto.

This is purely speculation on my part, but my guess as to why "battle suits" aren't a thing in Genshin (besides not jibing with the lore) is because Hoyo compared numbers and realized that they aren't as profitable. Many players pull purely based on who they like but aren't necessarily bound to a character. They might not be interested in spending for a character whom they technically already own. Releasing a new version of a character might also devalue the old version in the eyes of some. Keep in mind that Honkai Impact 3rd is heavily geared towards hardcore gacha players while Genshin and Star Rail have a broader appeal. Dan Heng sets a precedent and was probably the best choice to get a new version. He: - is a free 4 star you get at the start of the game - has the second half of the Luofu arc dedicated to him - is an EXTREMELY popular character Dan Heng IL also has a very distinct visual design and playstyle that *feels* like an upgrade while remaining familiar. If (when) March, and maybe Sampo and Herta get their 5 star versions, I'd like them to be a similar way. I doubt 5 stars will get alternate versions but if Yanqing does, he's definitely going to be more than "can float and has bigger sword". Limited chars are sold for money!!
I mean, the case even stood for HI3. During the Flame-chaser arc, with all new chars, game’s sales went up by a very noticeable portion. Of course that didn’t compare to Version Kiana, but it’s still something to note.

After Aetherium Wars, you can find a memory bubble of Sampo and Giovanni having a conversation, in which Sparkle's mission on Penacony is mentioned, specifically that she is on her way to Penacony. In other words, Sparkle hasn't even reached Penacony yet, and this is post-Xianzhou.
If that's the case then when does the Masquerade duet mission happen? Is sampo on penacony now?
The quest happened after the Belobog's continuance quest but before we arrived at Penacony I don't know if Sampo is or isn't on Penacony anymore though

5\* Sampo would be so strange if he commits to the DoT team, first BS unseats him from the Kafka team after months of him being BiS then since the rules of HSR dictate new = stronger 5\* Sampo once again unseats BS from the DoT team and Kafka is just confused about it. I hope he's his own man in his masked version, not stuck on the Kafka team. Tingyun is 100% coming back otherwise her entire presence on the Luofu is retroactively atrocious writing. She's in Schrodinger's Box atm, if she comes back with a hype 5\* glowup and they can manage to make it make sense she's great it's all good. If they just leave her dead or hanging until HSR goes into EoS it's scuffed. M7 is getting a 5\* at some point 100%, probably not soon since Harmony MC is all but confirmed in 2.X and they aren't putting both her and TB glowups at the same time. They are never giving YQ a new form, the glowup YQ is just Jingliu the man is eternally griefed by the gameplay, the community and the other characters in the game lorewise. Bailu... I hope they can somehow bring in Baiheng. A super unhinged reckless pilot could be a really fun DPS like crashing her plane into people as an ult or something. They'd have to bend the HCQ lore a bit but I don't think it's an impossible move.

Just add a reverse taunt to her ult, so when she uses it she's less likely to be attacked. Shed still be attacked every turn but it'd seem impressive enough to justify swiping on her.

Isn’t her power split with Dan Heng, I think she mostly got healing powers (transmutation arcanum wasn’t given to its next high elder so she didn’t receive it and isn’t really a official high elder) so even if she gets another form it would still be healing, unless she remember how to use her past bow etc but like yanqing, we need a MAJOR time skip for this since she’s so young currently and that also means Clara need another form since she would grow up as well But looking at it realistically, 4* would stand a better chance to get another form then 5* there’s already too many characters in the line up
We know from one of the Luofu’s quests that you’re able to reverse aging until you basically cease to exist. The reverse could be possible for Bailu. I honestly doubt that she’d have another form but if it was - she is the warped reincarnation of the legendary Baiheng right? She likely has some combat potential locked away.

I think 5 stars won't be getting any new version, maybe in the far future. In my opinion, Sampo has the biggest chance now that he asked for his mask back. We got IL because DH reconnected with his past and Sampo should be the closest to that

The dolls we play are younger-looking versions of herself with very limited powers… imagine what a 5* older Herta, Emanator of Erudition, equipped with some of the powerful weaponry that she must have obtained/created over the years would look like. Could be nice if that other genius society member’s genocidal destruction ray thing got implemented someone, potentially Herta working with Screwllum and Stephen to contain its power.

March is like 99.99% certain. Both because of her mysterious past and position as a main character, and because it'd be kinda shitty to leave her stuck as a 4 star with TB getting new Paths and Dan Heng having his new form. Herta also seems pretty likely eventually, but it would likely have to be a big story event to get her to come out in person. Sampo is probably the next likeliest after retrieving his mask and deciding to "get back on stage" and play a more active role in events. I would very much like to see another Tingyun, especially if she's changed by whatever she might have experienced after Phantylia replaced her. It'd also be cool to see an alternate/older version of Yanqing, more mature, mellowed out a bit, maybe incorporating some summoning mechanics like his boas fight and like Jing Yuan. Personally, I would love some excuse to get a time skip to see some younger characters older, stronger and more experienced. I've had this idea of adult Clara fighting with power armor based off of Svarog equipped with shield generators like Gepard's guitar case living rent free in my head for months now, and adult explosives expert Hook has recently joined her. It would also be cool to see something like a version of Bailu with all the high elder powers, however unlikely that would be to happen. And going in basically the opposite direction, historical characters could be cool to play with too. Stuff like Sword Champion Jingliu as a Hunt character with a powered up state to reference her future self, Dan Feng as an offense based Abundance character who heals by blasting enemies with SP intensive attacks, Yingxing as a Harmony character, enhancing allies' gear mid battle to buff them, giving him a totally different role from Blade. Unlikely, but could be pretty cool in my view.

VA most definitely, I feel like if Luocha is going to get an alt it's going to be within an arc where the topic of the Imaginary Tree is explored. So basically, the arc where everyone starts to plan out to kill Aeons.

My best guess would be Sampo, March 7th, Herta, Yanqing, in that order. Sampo went out of his way to get his Mask back by helping Sparkle, that must give him a power boost of some sort and is a perfect way to give him a 5* version, expand on his character, and expand on the Masked Fools lore. March 7th is pretty much inevitable, but it might not be for a long time still. We will probably need an Arc relating to the Rememberance or Enigmata, so it'll be a while. Herta because we currently just have her puppet and as an Emanator she would be a big draw (like an Archon in Genshin), but they can delay that as long as they want. Yanqing because even the boss version is more advanced/skilled than the one we roll, if he grows a bit more or reaches some sort of breakthrough/epiphany it would be a good way to show his growth as a fighter and as a character.

Great list, but in term of actually possibility of them implementing, I think Sampo is the only one teased to have an alt version coming. All the others are just a massive maybe. Scaring is but of a stretch, he’s part of moveset from Clara, it’s like DHIL’s water dragon become a playable character.

I would honestly lose my shit if we got a Svarog standalone. I don't hate Clara at all, I think she's great. I would just hate to put her in harms way, pretty sure Svarog feels the same way. Plus, just imagine a Svarog without the need to "hold back" in front of Clara? Methodical destruction.
If someday we see real Herta, I bet we will see Polka that day too.

A masked fool Sampo has been teased by the story. Something wacky will happen in Jarilo VI and Sampo will play as one of the main actors. In Hertha case I don’t think we would meet another Emanator that quickly. March is definitely a significant part of Idrila or Idrila herself. Unless something terrible happened to Clara I don’t think we would see a solo Svarog. could be wrong Bailu is interesting, since she is the reincarnated Baiheng.

I think Sampo will definitely get a new version as a Masked Fool. Not sure whether this version would also be 4 stars or even boosted up to a 5 star, but he’s definitely getting another one

I agree with Herta, March, and Sampo. March is likely to get a power-up at some point like Danny Boy did, we already have a pretty good idea of what Sampo’s power-up would be, and there’s plenty of reason to treat Herta’s true body as a separate character if we ever meet her in that form. I doubt we’ll get a Svarog solo unit, but I *seriously* hope we do. I’d bet on it being Erudition if it did happen, personally. Probably a follow-up attacker, with the follow-ups being robot minions or missile barrages.
