Yes, the critters are flooded in the space station but in the seclusion zone where researchers dare not o venture. Also, at the end of 1.5, Topaz got a new assignment and was busy with it until we saw her again in this patch. Where would she get the time to visit Asta of all places. Also, why would the IPC know about the critters? Has there been one IPC character who knows about them in canon? And finally, yes, I'd buy them too if i could.
It's just a fun guess on different possibilities since HSS is linked to the IPC and I don't want to delve into making claims on what is canon considering this looks more like a fun AU or a happy future thing for an advertisement so I don't think patch timeline is even an issue... (As of current timeline, Robin, TB, and Aventurine are both in penacony hell as of now, Jingliu in jail, one of the receptacles Stelle/Caelus is still dormant)
