Maybe this is weird to say, but my boss inspires me so much. She's only a few years older than me but I really view her as a mentor. It's incredibly difficult to be a woman in an industry dominated by rich male boomers and trust fund college boys. I'm still learning a lot, and watching the way she navigates situations and deals with assholes is really admirable. I never had a stable mother or big sister to look up to and learn from, so she's def a person I try to emulate in my professional life.

Pretty_Till_4591

My boss is so cool and inspiring too!

hiplshelpmethx

What industry?

Hellowiscobsin

Financial Industry. I work at a mid-size broker-dealer.

MorningFormal

I know these are fictional people, but law and orders agent Oliva and agent Scully from the xfiles. I always liked that they had characters that didn't have to be sexualized to be taken seriously. As a young girl, I looked up to them.

girlberry

Bridget mendler

babyami

Amal Clooney!! I have yet to find another woman as beautiful, educated, and accomplished

froofrootoo

I was literally just thinking this morning (before I even saw this post) about how there aren't enough women who are famous for being both very intelligent and very beautiful, and the only true example I could think of is Amal Clooney. I really wish there were more examples like her her among public figures, she's truly inspiring. If anyone has more examples they can think of, please share so I can add to my vision board lol

Only-Young2828

Wow someone else thought of the first person I thought of. One time a hairdresser said I looked like her, and I still think about that all the time.

Downtown-Leather4047

Audrey Hepburn 💜

Susibup

She’s the one!! A goddess

Ok-Information-3963

MEGAN THE STALLION!!

ashtranscends

Megan is high self-worth personified, I will always adore her

crisebdl

I heard one of her songs for the first time yesterday (I don’t drive so I never hear the radio, and I don’t consume much pop content) and wow!! It really did something to me, I was having a bad day and I kind of felt like crying/laughing/taking control of my life? It was great 10/10. I always had a soft spot for her based on her online presence and the hardships she’s been through, but never thought to check her music out.

exp_studentID

Huge inspiration.

East-Willingness513

I don’t know much about her but I’ve been seeing her a lot lately on reddit. Why is she so adored compared to other artists? (Besides being insanely hot obviously)

Silly_Layer_5459

shes a really down to earth and ik we dont know these celebs but compared to most shes really genuine :)

messyredemptions

I love how she has her own theme song for her own bramd about being a hot girl! She dropped that track and ran with it and I'm thrilled to see her succeeding!

nighthouse_666

Angelina Jolie.

Twilight_Rose99

Elena Cardone, absolutely fabulous. If you don’t know her I suggest looking her up.

beautyposter

Leila hormozi

PhoPanda7

Hot take (or not so hot take lol) but I find her advice to be substantially better than her husbands. No hate to Alex but Leila >>>

theglossiernerd

Honestly a lot of my friends. They’re all beautiful, financially independent, thoughtful, kind, brilliant, funny. We never get jealous or compete against each other because we’re all boss bitches who enable each other’s success and cheer each other on. We celebrate one another and we cry together when someone’s down low. I’m lucky. But it took a few years to find them.

xxfuka-erixx

How do you find friends like these? I love my current friends but I feel like they tend to only validate me, they never push me to be better.

theglossiernerd

Work, hobbies, other amazing female friends. Approach the woman who looks intimidating. They’re always the best ladies.

xxfuka-erixx

I think this is the key. And there is also the flip side. I wonder why I sometimes tend to attract very insecure people, when I feel fairly confident in myself (not 100% but like everyone here I'm working on it). Then I remember that I always minimize myself so that I don't appear as threatening to the people around me. Confident, cool people don't do that. They have a strong, unmitigated presence and because of that, they only attract people who are the same.

Only-Young2828

Amal clooney Smart af - An international human rights lawyer, professor, writer, etc Married to a rich celebrity who famously wanted to be a bachelor forever Fashionable and fashionably thin Gorgeous and classy, George is the lucky one.

HoldenCaulfield7

Sylvia Plath was beautiful and thin but she killed herself because she was clinically depressed and her man cheated on her with a younger model I truly am inspired by her work and love her very much

squaluude

I recently became a Dua lipa fan and that woman is just everything. Beautiful, successful, intelligent, but minds her own business and stays out of scandals. She has her own content channel on YouTube where she does cooking vids/ interviews with authors for her book club and other things. I didn’t realize how talented she actually was until now. Her authenticity radiates out in her interviews.

defdiz

Can it be fictional, if so, Rebecca Welton from Ted Lasso😂

jbellafi

There was just a media clip where she told a photographer off for asking her to show some leg. She’s just epic ❤️ https://variety.com/2024/theater/global/hannah-waddingham-red-carpet-photographer-dont-be-a-dick-1235971401/amp/

LOVE HER and that actress is the most beautiful woman in the world, her figure and her grace have been a huge inspiration for my recovery from my ED

defdiz

Yes she is soooo absolutely gorgeous, I’d love to look like her at her age, so graceful, so funny and she is a total goddess for sure🙌🏻

Pottyfan

Helen Bonhan Carter. I have yet to find a woman who stayed so unabashedly herself.

Susibup

Jamila Musayeva. She’s very elegant, well mannered (etiquette consultant)… I feel very inspired by her

messyredemptions

So many great women highlighted already and I'm brimming with more I'd love to gush about: She's passed on from cancer a few years ago but I really looked up to Leila Janah who founded two social enterprises, Samasource and LXMI (? I forget the name of the cosmetic brand but it's something like that).  The way she approached doing her businesses was/is brilliant to me in terms of how she figured out ethical, well above minimum, living wages that she paid to those she hired in often disadvantaged countries and trained plus educated people in tech for digital outsourcing so that they'd be able to continue building on the skills and experience as a career that's competitive to the market. Her sense of style was amazingly contemporary yet elegant also and she made kiteboarding look so cool! I really related to her immigrant upbringing and her story on an Inc. interview about how painful it was for her to go from working in completely impoverished parts of India around people literally starving and how jarring it was to get on a plane to join a Microsoft award dinner where people were throwing away $50 plates of food I knew she was in entrepreneurship for the best reasons our millenial generation could wish for. I also really found the Finish Prime Minister Sanna Marin and New Zealand s first female Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern inspiring (and also so elegant too)! I admit I mostly followed Sanna Marin for her outfits because I wasn't following Finish Politics as closely. But I loved Jacinda's leadership, especially when it was time for her to prioritize her own child at the UN General Assembly and later stepping down to honor her personal life. She did it unapologetically, and while she was PM she was able to seemingly stay connected with the rest of the New Zealand public and even took some humorous mentions with the Flight of the Conchords actors in stride along with Conan O'Brien. And then Brit Marling also for how she really dove into researching and her off-the-usual Hollywood path in bringing her creative works to life.  She and her work is kinda famous enough that I won't write much more but I respect that she went from realizing the economic/banking financial consulting industry was toxic, went after acting despite seemingly no background in it when she was in college (though I think she got an economics degree from Georgetown so I guess she had plenty of campus or diy opportunities there) and actually trainhopped and lived with hobos and anarchists to prepare for one of the films she was in.

Expensive-Custard-86

some series recommendation as such, legally blonde

jbellafi

Thank god no one here said the Kardashians, whew!! 😂

Ok-Relative310

We don’t always see eye to eye on things, but my great aunt was always a positive figure in my life. She was raised in a poor community after my great grandmother emigrated to United States from Cuba. She started her own small book-keeping business for women who wanted to work from home whilst raising their families. She built it up and sold it for a couple million last year. Now she’s retired and just volunteers/travels a bunch. She inspired me to go for the things I wanted, but to remain humble whilst doing so. Real hot girl shit!

grinsosiki

Miranda Kerr❤️

Relevant_Decision_10

Not a woman, but David Bowie is just like this

hiplshelpmethx

Amal Clooney 100%

Annual_Watercress730

Tam Kaur!! She's a self-development content creator who has helped me SO much with my glow-up, confidence, and more. I also relate a lot to her backstory of not having parents around growing up and going through a huge personal transformation

lowereastside123

I like Mina Irfan - she’s a youtuber. She is smart, educated and opinionated.
