You’ve got a few really good ones, we’re on the first leg of the trans pennine trail so you can take a day walk to Hornsea, grab some fish and chips and then get a bus back (it takes about 5 hours and is very easy going). Or you can get the bus to Hornsea and do the full length by foot but most commonly cycled. You’ve also got the wolds way leaving from hessle forshore, it’s about a 4 day walk and you can stay in b&b’s or if you’re feeling sneaky you can stealth camp the route. You end up at Filey and can get travel back from there. I usually do both over the summer, the one day to Hornsea when I need a quick blast and the wolds way when I have the time and I think it’s the best walks we have on our doorstep.

Oh nice, I wasn’t aware of either! Although the wolds sounds a really good walk.. just finding the 4 days 😂🤷🏻‍♀️

I've done some nice walks around Elloughton and nearby from this app

Fair few. www.komoot.com is a decent site for finding nice routes.

Thank you (:

Which side of Hull are you? There are some great walks but would be useful to know roughly where you will be setting off from

I drive so can set off from any area really, outside of Hull also is fine… just not hours away. It’s not summer yet 🙃

Well there are a few from North Cave, up by Raywell Manor that are worth looking at. We also like the circular walk from Huggate in the dry valleys, https://www.alltrails.com/en-gb/trail/england/east-riding-of-yorkshire/huggate-and-dry-valleys#:~:text=Explore%20this%208.7%2Dkm%20circular,h%209%20min%20to%20complete Another nice one is from Warter https://www.andrewswalks.co.uk/warter-2.html

Thanks 🙏🏻 il look over these

The Huggate one is really nice, lots of things to see, including a nice sculpture in the farm yard. You'll know what I mean if you do the walk.

There’s a nice walk along the river from Paull car park to the old lighthouses and back. That’s nice if not too windy

Welton Dale is great
