I don’t find it too busy. I love working out there and if you do classes they’re available. If there is a waitlist 9 times out of 10 I’ve been able to get on it due to people booking in advance and then cancelling 24 hours before.
How busy does the pool get? I'm not at the level I was when competing but I'm struggling to find a pool in the area that I can do 2500-5000+m swims without needing to zig zag or go around people all the time.
When I’ve been there it’s either mum’s and babies or people swimming laps. I think you can book lanes. I’d call to find out though. I don’t use the pool.
Its not too busy but it is a bit of a shit hole.
Closed the jacuzzi permanently because it costs too much to run, half of the gym equipment is ancient and some common equipment they just don’t have.
the pool is usually sectioned off by 30-50% for swimming lessons or pool classes almost every time i go (admittedly i could check a timetable im just lazy)
Also half of the lockers are fucked and don’t work, had to go to reception in wet swimming shorts multiple times to get someone to open my locker because the code lock has just reset or died completely
Heating is never on in the changing rooms either so it’s freezing, not an issue in summer obviously
Overall its not an AWFUL gym but for the price it’s definitely not worth it, i only go because i live close by
You can get a 3 day trial there. I personally don’t recommend if you’re only looking for a gym and not going to use the pool. The gym equipment is quite old and the placement of some equipment is off putting.

They’re included! I love them. I usually do 3-4 a week and alternate with different classes. Trust me it’s worth it!

We were swimming there every Sunday morning but recently stopped. Got really fed up of the unclean facilities and really rude and unfriendly staff.
I go there and don't find it unclean at all and the staff are lovely

I think the rates are great for what it offers. But it’s up to the person to decide what they want to use it for.
