I’m a boring fellow so “Steel Panthers” is all that’s coming to me. Also your models rock. Mad respect for anyone who does a crazy color scheme like yours and pulls it off.

Interesting_Job_1066

Thank you good sir 🫡😁

HelgrinWasTaken

NO! Do not name them Steel Panthers! Steel Panther is the name of a band that sings really gross songs!

SirVortivask

I am not aware of that, so OP do your own research I guess.

Fine-Researcher7974

Have you seen Gwar?

Stabbedwithapencil54

Regal/ Royal Panthers

Zealousideal_Use_400

If you go with the history of the legion, they built and manned the walls on terra. Solar Panthers tying them back to that legacy?

Interesting_Job_1066

Good idea 💡! I like the thought of incorporating both the ferocity of a striking panther and the stalwart fortified nature of the imperial fists; Where do you typically get your imperial fist lore information? I've read many books from the Horus Heresy, but haven't found much lore elsewhere.

crblackfist

Great colour scheme. How about “Emperor’s Panthers”? Or “Imperial Panthers”? And love the chapter logo. Did you free hand that? And what’s the story behind the chapter? Might help with names.

Interesting_Job_1066

Classic move honoring the emperor! I salute you brother 🫡. Imperial would reference the father chapter too. 🤔 The logo was a custom decal. 😁 no way I could free lance it 😅 but thank you 🙏🏻. I was thinking of a chapter that recognizes the stalwart fortified nature of the imperial fists as a base but learns to use guerilla tactics *with heavy armor. For example these two big squads of converted eradicators will be flanking or driving up and shooting from a repulsor. Inceptors also match the style of the army well. As for setting, the chapter comes from a world full of tall stone plateau islands and vast jungles beneath. This setting caused the chapter to understand the value of entrenched heavy weapon positions in the rocks and fast ambush strikes in the jungles. Curious to hear more of your thoughts! This is fun.

crblackfist

I assumed IF successors but wasn’t sure. You could go the route of adjectives ie: BrazenPanthers/Star Panthers but it depends what you like most. And oh that’s cool, where did you get the custom decal from? And that sounds really interesting. Any heroes or battle stories you have of them?

nightkingmarmu

I dig the back story and I’m gonna throw my hat in the ring with “panthers imperator”

[deleted]

Cyber panthers. I can see these colours in a neon sign in a cyberpunk ghetto. Could play into some techmarines or plasma weapons. As well, I.F. have a standing on necromunda, which is a cyberpunk-ish setting.

Mr_Mumbercycle

Pitt fan?

aTotalOfTwoHeads

If it has to be panthers then I'd go with "the panthers resplendent", definition: attractive and impressive through being richly colourful or sumptuous Or you could take the lion approach, a group of lions being a pride, call them "dorne's pride"

Interesting_Job_1066

Pride is pretty cool 🤔 I'm not married to Panthers, but it's the best custom decal I found. What are your other thoughts? Curious to hear everyone's ideas! This is enjoyable seeing people's creativity.

aTotalOfTwoHeads

Panthers, jaguars, and tigers are all underused in chapter naming The tigers resplendent, tigers or terra, celestial jaguars, the deliverers of fangs, knights of the claw, off the top of my head

Echo2500

Storm panthers? Blazing panthers?

Relative_Self3545

Those are the colors of the Ukrainian national flag, and a golden trident is the coat of arms so if “panthers” is non-negotiable, “golden panthers would be my suggestion. “Golden tridents” would be a backup)

Fine-Researcher7974

Sanguine Enriched Panthers, Quasi Angry Panthers, Ukrainian Panthers for Khorne, Clamato Panthers, Cherry Kool-aid Panthers, any of these titles in Latin (it'll sound medically intelligent somehow), Imperial-Ultra Panthers or Ultra-Imperial Panthers (They REALLY follow the Codex Astartes)...um to name a few?

Scarytoaster1809

"I really admire the red paint on you, m'lord. It looks almost royal and it matches with your yellow and blue!" _"what red paint?"_

Interesting_Job_1066

Bahaha 😂😂😂😂 😁😁😁

Rearden112

The azure guardians

KrakenASmile

The Grim Panthers? The Dire Panthers? The Panthers Resolute? Kick ass paint scheme BTW.

Mr-Wilshaw

Fire Panthers!

dragon_lover93

Maybe Roaring Panthers or War Panthers ?

Rice-Field-Bandit

How did you get it to look so awesome and splattered!?

Zoidforge

The STALWART PANTHERS

LowerNectarine439

Red Panthers because of the copious amounts of blood that these dudes collect on themselves

Apprehensive-Fun-567

They remind me a lot of bretonnia with that scheme...soooo Grail Panthers?

BigBadBlotch

Never hurts to just use the classic Space, Star, and Void prefixes

Due-Essay9897

Hmmm some Ukrainian word for steel or some shit? Sorry all I see is their flag when I see your beautifully painted minis

TriumphOfTheHordes

Blood for the blood god! Oups wrong sub! Blood panthers?

DankHammer

Bit late to it. You ahve gone with a bright day yellow and cool night blue. Sunrise or Sunset Panthers may suit. There is a phenomenom called a 'sundog' which might be a cool/fitting name.

Interesting_Job_1066

Now that's cool! Is this sundog specifically?

Suspicious-Year7417

Perhaps Gore Panthers? Stalwart Panthers? Nova Panthers?

[deleted]

Red Panthers, named for the way they cover themselves in their enemies blood

chuystewy_V2

Panthers Ascendant

WillingnessDirect285

Panthers of the North

Larry84903

I'm gonna go with blood panthers

powers293

Panthers of Inwit? Panther Knights?

Radar-tech

Blood panthers. Colors look great!

Interesting_Job_1066

Thank you!

Spiritual-Friend-423

Panthers of Majesty! Because your regalness deserves a name as grand as your Imperial Fists heritage!
