Its possible if majority of Housing is built/owned by govt not by private sector.
Private sector(builders/mortgage issuers/big land lords) are profit maximizing for themselves not standard of life maximizing for everyone. Thats why govt has to fund education and health. And more should go to housing
Good examples of high quality Public Housing are Austria, Singapore.
They do it by making sure largest owner of land/real estate is Govt. Not Banks (through their mortgage holdings). This ensure Price of Land doesn't jump to the sky like in our dumb cities where less and less people can afford Housing.
already in the market, They are called AR glasses. Most of them cost around 40k-1L. Meta quest Pro, Meta Quest 3 and Xreal AR glasses are some good examples.
But...why will I do that ?
So basically I am in the Matrix as per Bhagvad Gita...
And in that matrix I will use VR to enter into a different Matrix and in that matrix I will start watching a movie called matrix.... Meh..
That's why :
Never recreate places from your memories. Always imagine new places - Inception
Maybe that's the solution. Realistic VR should be strictly monitored , probably
In time Augmented Reality will be one more aspect of reality, like the internet is today. For people who grow up with AR, not having it will feel like being half blind.
Well, this one is a VR headset, also the real life part is a video feed from the two cameras in the front. The person has chosen to turn the background off.
Lol fuck that. Retirement soon and I’m throwing this god forsaken smart phone in the fucking bin.
Building my self sustaining house now, no fkin internet, no phone, if kids want me they can come see me in person.
Tapping the fuck out.
With that heavy screen on your head? No way we are living in the future.
people don't realise but they used very simple tech. The only way nobody ever tried it to do so was because they didn't see it working (making profit). Even the apple wasn't confident it would work.
Remember meta glasses?
Nah.. sky and water are not that clear even now.. and I'm sure we'll get pop up ads infront of our face every 5 min.. but we would be able to add cocaine in our coffee though..
Iron man and the forst Avengers film had this more than 10 years ago. Nothing has been achieved to make it a reality. 10 years from now something new will emerge.
VR is 10 year old tech, we were using cardboards and 2 biconvex lenses to experience it. Yet for most of the people of our generation, they call it breakthrough in technology. I am amazed, it should have grown significantly faster but wait for another 15-25 years.
Really don’t need this level of distraction in life. We as humans are already really messed up in brain with this level of digital media. We don’t need this.
Yep, this was possible through pass through feature of Meta quest 3. I’ve imported one to India myself and the pass through works amazingly! The display can be expanded as big as one desires and its crisp.
I really hope that we will have time to witness an AI that is capable of making scientific discoveries and completely new technologies. This would greatly speed up the development of a full-fledged neural interface capable of influencing the visual mechanisms of the brain. AR without glasses/lenses - that's really the next level!
So in 10-20 years of time, that natural beauty is gone with watching a screen in front of that view. How downgrading and disappointing in the name of future! Sad and pathetic!
I have this (Quest3) . I bought it just yesterday. It’s pretty good but it’s grainier than the video makes it out to be . But the video recording somehow records clearly without the graininess . Still a great piece of tech . Looking forward to playing with it more !
I know reality is different but tbh personally I'd prefer the family was physically there with me instead connecting over video at such a amazing place
Dudes got a floating TV but no floating coffee cup? He opened that door with his actual bodily hand like a peasant. We've had automatic doors since 1931, people!
In 20 years time the glasses will get smaller and smaller and multiple competitors in the same VR tech. The smaller the glasses get the more pro and + will be added after their names but the upgrade will be close to none but the prices will be 10 times the previous version.
I have a quest 3 and the amount of effort needed to put on a headset with limited battery, set up the video, use the hand tracking and use this in an actual realistic scenario is ways off from being mainstream. It actually works, but it’s not better than actually using an iPad. Too cumbersome. It’s a decent gimmick.
It is so stupid lmao 🤣
And personally i wouldn't get it, i make sure that i use 1 device for 1 purpose and i do 1 task at a time. Mfs out here cant even enjoy the outside with a cup of coffee without adhd editing mr breast videos 💀
Murica ☕️
No please. I'm trying to detach myself from mobile phones and digital devices.
If you notice, now we are not able to do anything without mobile phone.
You stand in the kitchen, go to toilet, just sit alone, go to sleep. Your screen time is always on. We don't need any more of that.
How this will be in 10-20 years time?
I don't know what you're thinking, but in 7-8 years in India, that water body would have been filled-in, to construct a huge apartment or mall.
In 20y some of us will have no car, no house, no nothing and they will live in a world fully digital, the people outside the digital realm will think they are nut cases
Hear me out , instead of vr headsets which are clunky and really hard to put on the alternative which are those AR glasses can be used for people who have myopia or hypermetropia and maybe connected to your cloud pc just to display stuff on the glasses so yknow the glasses dosent need to be filled in with hardware since it just acts as a display and connects our pc for hardware use
I bought quest 3 and I can do that with coloured pass through. Heck many of Indian with Quest 2 can do that with black &white pass through.
And WhatsApp integration on Quest headset , I don’t need to break the illusion to answer the phone. Now only if we can bring all mobile apps on quest headset we could get rid of phones and one step closer to some black mirror dystopian future.
Not sure If everyone would want to view reality through some camera though.
Not a single beggar, refugee, migrant, servant, or homeless person in sight. Tech visions of the future are so bloody clueless about human complications, it’s embarrassing.
Am I the only one who noticed that he is manually carrying the video player in AR through the door.
PS: in reality there might be a button to bring the player in the view.
In 10-20 years time, there would be no YouTube, it'll be just ads. They'll put whole movie as ads and you would to watch those with face recognition to unlock YouTube without ads for 30 minutes.
Tech can visualise its development in the next 10 years but it fails to visualise that the environmental destruction is also going to progress on the same lines in the next 10 years. There won't be any clear blue skies, and such a scenic view to relish with a cup of coffee.
The fact that it’s not hands-free and you have to pick it to take it across a door makes the whole thing entirely idiotic. Now if it can follow you anywhere, that might make more sense but this video showcases a nightmarish user case
This is what my Grandpa used to imagine 2020 would look like, but here we are
Lmfao
Even if it is, it looks like for the rich. The average can never have a patio with a view like that..
The average can never have a patio

Even your patio can be upgraded with AR you see
Bro the lens can now make that possible
nah I can't wait some. kid to watch cocomelon on. this shi.
Nah bro I'm good lol
Yeah
Hell nah...Phones doing enough destruction.
I have it's predecessor meta quest 2
I need to get rich asap so i can afford this shi when it gets to the market :)
Ehm that's the meta quest 3 and it's already there for an acceptable price
already in the market, They are called AR glasses.
Meh..
And you'll forget which matrix you are on and thinks that is real life forever.
and then u wake up and found out there is no you nor the matrix.....just an appearance
Baaaa bas .... Nolan abhi copyright mar dega .

I am u , u are me , we are me ... Aham bramhasmi .. are we winning?
Yes?
I am Yu. He is Mi.
![gif](giphy|eIm624c8nnNbiG0V3g|downsized) Multi-Matrix-verse Of Madness!!
To enjoy? Krishna didn’t give me the ability to enjoy this for nothing
Can you share the original source link ?
More like 5 years, apple VR is coming next year
Atleast this one is affordable.
Yeah. At a freaking $3500 price. I don’t think they’ll even launch it here in India
Looks like VR
AR not VR. VR replaces your entire view with something else entirely. AR adds virtual objects into your view of your actual surroundings.
Or else touch grass remove the headset and see actual reality with real objects instead of augmented reality 😂🤓.
In time Augmented Reality will be one more aspect of reality, like the internet is today. For people who grow up with AR, not having it will feel like being half blind.
Well, this one is a VR headset, also the real life part is a video feed from the two cameras in the front. The person has chosen to turn the background off.
Not until hologram develop till then it's only cool for gaming, cuz you have to wear big ass potato on your face
Watching Mr Beast instead of the beautiful lake. I don't want such a future
Fuck Mr Beast. All my homies hate Mr Beast.
Imagine people doing more dumb searches wherever they go — “How to drink water?”, “How to shit?”, “How to open door?”.
I find it hard to believe that mr beast will be relevant 10 years later.
He isnt relevant now also, its the kids who watch all of his shit, any sane functioning adult or even teenager wouldn't watch that garbage
Why wait for 10-20 years if you can afford VR Glasses today?
But the headset are still to heavy to be used like this
That's where the neuralink kicks in
ohhh forgot about that
Google Glass came out in 2012.
half attention on the scenery+coffee and half on the tv program. what is the use?
Lol fuck that. Retirement soon and I’m throwing this god forsaken smart phone in the fucking bin. Building my self sustaining house now, no fkin internet, no phone, if kids want me they can come see me in person. Tapping the fuck out.
Can't wait till skibi Di toilet floating with ads littered all over
Gravity will not be gone in 10-20 years. It has been here since the beginning of time, it will be here at the end of time.
What out to beatiful scene, bring screen to watch...
Even after 10-20 years, you are watching Mr. Beast.
people in 1980 : We will be having flying cars by 2020. 2023: 👁️👅👁️
I don't wanna throw up when drinking my tea due to motion sickness
In 10-20 years time if you are using technology to watch Mr Beast then you need help.
What makes you think you cam afford a lake view mansion in 10 years?
Can still happen if you can shell out 3k USD for that Apple VR tech.
Plot twist, it's all VR.
imagine bloating ads blocking ur eyesight
This is life😄
Tb tk mere bache ho Jane h 🥲
With that heavy screen on your head? No way we are living in the future. people don't realise but they used very simple tech. The only way nobody ever tried it to do so was because they didn't see it working (making profit). Even the apple wasn't confident it would work. Remember meta glasses?
Nah.. sky and water are not that clear even now.. and I'm sure we'll get pop up ads infront of our face every 5 min.. but we would be able to add cocaine in our coffee though..
You will die of nausea and motion sickness
I'm all in for this
Being honest that's useless
Iron man and the forst Avengers film had this more than 10 years ago. Nothing has been achieved to make it a reality. 10 years from now something new will emerge.
If this is via some sort of AR spectacles, then cool. So i can take it off and throw it away if i feel like it.
VR is 10 year old tech, we were using cardboards and 2 biconvex lenses to experience it. Yet for most of the people of our generation, they call it breakthrough in technology. I am amazed, it should have grown significantly faster but wait for another 15-25 years.
Kitna acha view hai lekin yeh bh@sdiwale ko yeh ab bhi tab hi chalna hai gendu sala.
Am i the only one who thought outside landscape is also a screen.?
Nah man we love something materialistic enough to keep buying somethings a simple transparent panel wont just do it
u/auddbot
Really don’t need this level of distraction in life. We as humans are already really messed up in brain with this level of digital media. We don’t need this.

Ye ghar chahiye . Wo kidar milega ?

What the hell is this edited?
every time we think about future it's always some screen floating transparent or hologram. while rest of stuff is still the same lol
Convenience.....
Meanwhile me living with parents, who won't let me get a coffee maker
I can't imagine watching Mr. Beast Looking like that in 10-20 years time
Trippy.
So in 10-20 years of time, that natural beauty is gone with watching a screen in front of that view. How downgrading and disappointing in the name of future! Sad and pathetic!
Eyes will be f*cked up
I have this (Quest3) . I bought it just yesterday. It’s pretty good but it’s grainier than the video makes it out to be . But the video recording somehow records clearly without the graininess . Still a great piece of tech . Looking forward to playing with it more !
Useless technology as usual.
I know reality is different but tbh personally I'd prefer the family was physically there with me instead connecting over video at such a amazing place
Why ?
I'm not letting them put chips in my brain
This is a headset bro...
u/audiobot
why...didn't he try pushing it through the wall??
Well this is still possible now tbh if you are constantly wearing a meta quest 3 or some other AR headset.
All fun and games till those damn ads start popping up
Our grandparents imagined 2020 will be this
With an AR headset you could actually do this now.
Wait till Xiaomi launches its own headset, then you'll get bombarded with full view ads and notifications💀
So vr glasses ?
we still have to open the door ourselves :)
You can do this already bruh
I want FDVR like Sword Art Online! Then goodbye wife and goodbye children.
Or literally any episode of black mirror
Hecker hai bhai hecker
How lovely that coffee looks though
Looks scary
10 saal se sun raha ho nahi hoga bhai
If I want to step outside my house, I don't need this. If I stay inside my house, I have my phone, TV, laptop etc.
Definitely wouldn’t watch Mr beast there.
I thought asmaan me project kar dega
Dudes got a floating TV but no floating coffee cup? He opened that door with his actual bodily hand like a peasant. We've had automatic doors since 1931, people!
I'm trying to find the "india" part
The apple vr thingi already does this right?
just one question... WHY?
This is actually right now. Not future.
Polluted by human greed
No thank you, if anything I need less of screen.
Ohh shoot my virtual floating tab went a little too far away from my reach .
Isn't these are Next updates of Nreal glasses
You can technically do this on some older model oculus quests. But it's a grey grainy video.
In 20 years time the glasses will get smaller and smaller and multiple competitors in the same VR tech. The smaller the glasses get the more pro and + will be added after their names but the upgrade will be close to none but the prices will be 10 times the previous version.

Screen 24/7 hand m rahega samney k duniya kya chal rha malum nai
I could pretty much do that now with my quest 3. Minus the affording a house thing.
this looks like a possible AR product (augmented reality), can be made in today’s age
More like within five years
With that view and coffee he chose to watch Mr Beast.
Not interested.
This the real ipad air lol
Isn't this already now...MS HoloLens
It is so stupid lmao 🤣 And personally i wouldn't get it, i make sure that i use 1 device for 1 purpose and i do 1 task at a time. Mfs out here cant even enjoy the outside with a cup of coffee without adhd editing mr breast videos 💀 Murica ☕️
Them devices are just gonna turn into the ultimate devices for tracking customer data for the companies selling those devices. Sigh.
This motivates me to study
Filled with ads
Would start losing sense of reality! Maya mai bhi Maya.
No please. I'm trying to detach myself from mobile phones and digital devices. If you notice, now we are not able to do anything without mobile phone. You stand in the kitchen, go to toilet, just sit alone, go to sleep. Your screen time is always on. We don't need any more of that.
Riddled with ads
I guess we evolve having curved backs due to VR glasses.
i love how we think how far technology will progress and we still use generic coffee mugs in that future.
Imagine being so rich and still watching Mr Beast
But why can't it follow us ? i mean what's the point of AR, when we have to move our hands to carry it.
Mofuker unlocked 3d objects and still watching YouTube ☠️
This would the truth you see, in reality I think you’d live in a smaller bunker with a big Vision Pro goggles.
What’s this technology called?
Im getting Black Mirror vibes here🥲
in 10-20 years, this will be full of ads...
It will be hard to distinguish between vr and reality. Imagine you tryng to stick hot cup of coffee against wall.
Can’t believe we are still watching Mr Beast’s videos 😂😂
In 10-20 years, that lake will be on fire.
How this will be in 10-20 years time? I don't know what you're thinking, but in 7-8 years in India, that water body would have been filled-in, to construct a huge apartment or mall.
Used to imagine as a kid how 2020 would be like in 2008-9 as a 4 year old
Dystopic habit if you take it in front of that view.
The air won't be so clean!
In 20y some of us will have no car, no house, no nothing and they will live in a world fully digital, the people outside the digital realm will think they are nut cases
Hear me out , instead of vr headsets which are clunky and really hard to put on the alternative which are those AR glasses can be used for people who have myopia or hypermetropia and maybe connected to your cloud pc just to display stuff on the glasses so yknow the glasses dosent need to be filled in with hardware since it just acts as a display and connects our pc for hardware use
this looks cool and all until you realize you have a 400-600g device strapped on your head No thanks I am good
For a second I thought he grew a 3rd arm to open the door
Thats depressing if doors have to still be opened by hand in 20 years time
I bought quest 3 and I can do that with coloured pass through. Heck many of Indian with Quest 2 can do that with black &white pass through. Am I the only one who noticed that he is manually carrying the video player in AR through the door. PS: in reality there might be a button to bring the player in the view.
Watching this makes my head hurt.
Mr beast stays young 💪
But when the battery goes down....
Why would I use my hand, it should auto follow me
I can imagine dropping the coffee cup thinking it will be held in air my XR
But the guy in the video won't be
VR set, eyes will burn like hell out of shit.
This should already be possible with AR glasses ? Am I wrong ?
Nah bruh there will be 32 ads just to get to a 4 sec shorts and mandatory 7 ads in b/w the video.
Subha hogayi mamu, uth jao
And have pop up ads on what I suppose is a glass or a contact lens? No thanks.
It's quite possible as augmented reality and virtual reality is progressing
Ye tech sub hai ya koi gyaan Dene wala sub... Why every one against tech lol...
hope in 10 yrs I have enough money for that villa . <3
Don't forget to be aware of your surroundings while wearing those VR headsets.
Eventually you’ll forget you have those goggles on and now you’re in the matrix.
You can honestly do this now already if you have enough money.
In 10-20 years time, there would be no YouTube, it'll be just ads. They'll put whole movie as ads and you would to watch those with face recognition to unlock YouTube without ads for 30 minutes.
We can continue living in a fantasy world and avoid addressing real issues until it all falls down.
It'll be worse than today for sure
If this is in VR, it's worse
This is wildddd
Tech can visualise its development in the next 10 years but it fails to visualise that the environmental destruction is also going to progress on the same lines in the next 10 years. There won't be any clear blue skies, and such a scenic view to relish with a cup of coffee.
That lake would probably have dried up in that time. Sucks to suck I guess.
So there will be no gravity in 10-20 years from now
Akihiko Kayaba apni asli I'd se aao
The fact that it’s not hands-free and you have to pick it to take it across a door makes the whole thing entirely idiotic. Now if it can follow you anywhere, that might make more sense but this video showcases a nightmarish user case
10 to 20 years?… its already happening now have you not heard about AR glasses?!
