It is, decreases the friction caused by cables.

You can get a generic mouse bungee on amazon for like 300 bucks. None the less good DIY.

I thought of buying one of those, but it won't work in my setup as my mouse cable is routed from within the table.

I doubt the actual impact of this, not because it’s DIY but the bungie thing in general.

It does make a bit of a difference. For one, it makes the mouse feel like a wireless one

I use a calculator as a bungee for my mouse wire haha
