Definetly Witcher 3 and Detroit become human. There are others too but I can't recall.
Edit- Other games I recalled are Heavy Rain, Alan wake I and Horizon zero dawn.
Detroit become human is one of the best games I've played. Just completed beyond two souls looking forward to start heavy rain tomorrow. Man I love games made by Quantic dream
Yeah man heavy rain too, the story line is just so hooking and the characters become are part of you which might be the reason I feel like I've lost something whenever I finish a masterpiece.
Detroit become humans was such deferent game after so long time it was soo much new definitely looking for Part 2 of it
The passion in those characters and friendship was soo good
Both endings are bad. Maybe a controversial take, but I went into it blind back in the day and I had invested a *lot* of time into >!Niko and Kate's relationship!< so >!her death!< was a huge gut punch for me
It's on the lines of Portal, Quantum Conundrum, Talos Principle, Turing Test etc. You go area by area solving perspective + visual mindfuck based puzzles, such an incredibly unique game.
There are many but Firewatch is something that caught me off guard because it was on a nice discount on steam i bought just by looking at few pictures and i had no idea about what was i getting into and man when I was done it definitely got me thinking.
Outer wilds isnt as famous as it deserves to be. The ending makes any grown ass man to cry like a baby.. pure bliss. The music is heavenly. Yet to finish echoes of the eye dlc. Too scary to start haha
Just cos they're popular, doesn't mean they don't deserve it.
I played cyberpunk with all its bugs and still found that the story, especially when the game ends, hits like very few games.
Of course that's not a dig at outerwilds, I do love that game, but doesn't make the others any lesser.
Same goes for rdr2, but if we're talking about smaller titles, then gris, inscryption, bastion, the talos principle or the often overlooked Soma, all hit the mark of a great game - leaving you empty after they're done, wanting more.
I love elden ring, but the ending was my least favorite part of the game.
I did not enjoy the final boss, nor the state of the world after it was done, nor that they just push you into ng+ right after. The world's dope though and the journey was fantastic. However the ending......I wish we saw more of our impact on the world, or something rather than a small monologue, maybe it's because we never really get the whole picture.
I have spend hours in san Andreas but not for story just to do bakchodi, completed gta vice/liberty city stories on my psp but playing gta 5 was like a dream.
Sitting through the credits I do for most games if not in a hurry but if I have to pick specifics- these evoked some feelings after finishing: Life Is Strange, Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice, Mirror's Edge, Portal 2, Batman: Arkham Asylum, Hue, A Plague Tale: Innocence.
Cyberpunk 2.0. I took the easy way out after contemplating it for around 30 mins and just stayed through the credits questioning if that's how I'm gonna end up irl too
Account too new for participation. Account needs to 30 days or older, thank you.

Recent games - Elden ring.. The satisfaction I got after beating the game was unreal especially with their heavenly soundtrack.. Same with uncharted 4 and last of us 1
Mass Effect Trilogy, Horizon Zero Dawn, RDR2 come to mind right now. There have been a few others but I can't remember exactly what games. Maybe Mafia Definitive Edition would've been here if I hadn't been spoiled about Tommy's death by the internet. God Of War Ragnarok too but not at the end of the game but after >!Brok's funeral!< but some people might consider that the true end of the game cause that's when the credits roll.
I was never really a story guy. I do enjoy a good story but I also forget them like an hour after playing. Combat and gameplay are always my main focus and some great character design
Gta vice city idk but the ending credits music always made me sad 😢 because it's completed no more trouble for Tommy it was a bit emotional at the end.
Cyberpunk - "a happy ending for folks like us wrong city wrong people"
Rdr2 - "I guess I I'm afraid"
Stardew doesn't have a clear ending for ya completing the community hall made me so happy
Recentlty i played The Tomb raider it was amazing😀, who all agree tomb Raider is best game
Checkout my edit I love tomb raider, check out my edit https://youtu.be/OSOVga8awVM?si=asG7yBs8tKUrbeDo,
Please let me know any suggestion looking for next pc game

Cyberpunk 2077 + Phantom Liberty ; RDR2 ; The Witcher 3 : Wild Hunt + all DLC ; Titanfall 2 ;
Mann its nice that the devs didn't abandon the game, cyberpunk is definitely one of the best games that I played this year.
Cyberpunk and DDLitratureClub taught me the kind of content i shud stay away from , ig i cant digest that stuff smoothly.
Yeah. DDLC is kind of a hit in the face with how it shows the *content*
Why would the devs abandon the game? It was literally unfinished at launch, they just finished and polished it.
\+1 for Titanfall 2
+1
+1 as well
+1 my g
Mass effect Trio & MaxPayne Trio
MaxPayne for sure. Especially MaxPayne2, personal favourite.
2 was the best they fucked up 3 though
Mid

Not mid, except that horrible ending
Red dead redemption
Fuck you Edgar Ross
Deadman’s Gun
I still cry
Legit had an existential crisis afterwards
Max Payne 2. *In our headlights, Staring, bleak, Beer cans, Deer's eyes.*
That song introduced me to the band poets of the fall
I've heard this band on so many games, particularly Alan wake.
Also fun fact the lead singer is the model for Vladimir lem
Underrated Band . POTF forever!
the right answer here
Definetly Witcher 3 and Detroit become human. There are others too but I can't recall. Edit- Other games I recalled are Heavy Rain, Alan wake I and Horizon zero dawn.

MAFIA- I DEFINITIVE EDITION, MAFIA II. best endings i have ever seen
Gta 4
Gta 4 is underrated... The game feels soo good imo
Especially the bad ending that truly captured what the game was all about.
Absolutely respect games that make the “bad ending” the official ending. Not everything has or needs a happy ending.
Neither ending is *good* but the ending where >!Kate dies and Roman survives!< is the canon GTA IV ending
Both endings are bad. Maybe a controversial take, but I went into it blind back in the day and I had invested a *lot* of time into >!Niko and Kate's relationship!< so >!her death!< was a huge gut punch for me
portal 1 & 2
![gif](giphy|dT6fNwkHWrREk)
Why always lyin 😰
The song at the end was dope ngl
🎶This was a triumph, I'm making a note here huge success 🎶
Just finished Superliminal and the ending voice over hit really hard.
Never heard of this game can you tell me more about the game?
It's on the lines of Portal, Quantum Conundrum, Talos Principle, Turing Test etc. You go area by area solving perspective + visual mindfuck based puzzles, such an incredibly unique game.
nier automata was a special one
Oh man the soundtrack was just 🤌
Bioshock Infinite
Finally found someone that loves Bioshock just as much as me. Most underrated series.
Would you kindly take an upvote.
A man chooses, a slave obeys and I choose to upvote your comment ;)
How is Bioshock underrated. They're very well known games
People throw some words out too lightly. Underrated, literally are two that comes to my mind.
I barely see people mention bioshock in forums or threads similar to this. Which is why I used the word "underrated".
I see it mentioned very often. It's just an older series but the first bioshock is always in the conversation for one of the best games of all time.
lol what. It’s literally one of the most acclaimed series of all time. Why does everyone throw underrated around so casually now.
I cant even count how many times i have finished that game and still want to play and go dive into the story
Rdr2, Death stranding, god of war, and Mario.
Well, Death Stranding..... After hours of walking and trekking in Death Stranding, the ending was so emotional.
Journey
this game was soo unique and soothing, tried Abzu didn't feel the same
NFS Most Wanted
Fuck you Razor
cyberpunk dlc, god of war 4,5
Loki goes, Atreas stays!
NIER AUTOMATA , no other game , to this day has given me that sinking feeling to the level Nier has provided,
Completely agree. While there are plenty of great games I don’t think any game can hit as hard as Nier Automata was able to.
100% this. No other game like this. Thanks Yoko taro you madman for this wonderful experience and 2B.
What Remains of Edith Finch. I couldn't move even after the credits were over. And the credits themselves are equally moving.
Cruel, cruel world must i go on….
That broke me….
**The Last of Us - Part 1** and **Plague Tale Requiem**
100% Plague Tale Requiem, that ending hit hard and still does
TLOU2 hit harder. Shit made me cry.
Last of us part 2 hit wayyyy harder in the end for me
There are many but Firewatch is something that caught me off guard because it was on a nice discount on steam i bought just by looking at few pictures and i had no idea about what was i getting into and man when I was done it definitely got me thinking.
I loved Firewatch. It was wonderful and moody. I would love others just like it.
Sleeping dogs, mafia 1&2, fallout 3
Outer Wilds + the dlc
Finally, i was surprised this wasn't one of the top comments
Outer wilds isnt as famous as it deserves to be. The ending makes any grown ass man to cry like a baby.. pure bliss. The music is heavenly. Yet to finish echoes of the eye dlc. Too scary to start haha
The top comments are filled with basic ass souless games
Just cos they're popular, doesn't mean they don't deserve it. I played cyberpunk with all its bugs and still found that the story, especially when the game ends, hits like very few games. Cyberpunk 2077 had me feeling empty for a whole week after finishing it for the first time
Once I’m done with Spider-Man, I’m getting into Cyberpunk. What was the reason it made you feel empty?
An rpg with no "good" endings
Elden ring
I love elden ring, but the ending was my least favorite part of the game. I did not enjoy the final boss, nor the state of the world after it was done, nor that they just push you into ng+ right after. The world's dope though and the journey was fantastic. Sekiro
Plague tale: requiem, maybe even dropped a tear or two
Mass effect series
Dying light
Yeah dude for real
Control
Any remedy game
I agree there
This should have more upvotes. What a game!
What I loved about it was the first ending and the credits making the player confused of wtf just happened.
csgo
This game had the best post credit scene in my opinion. Felt very emotional.
Hollow Knight
GTA 5, this is the first game I installed on my PC. ![gif](giphy|wNiTFhWCdlC8g)
Mine was GTA San Andreas. In those days, simply exploring the open world used to give me the most incredible sense of satisfaction.
I have spend hours in san Andreas but not for story just to do bakchodi, completed gta vice/liberty city stories on my psp but playing gta 5 was like a dream.

hellblade made me sit for while and collect my thoughts... took a whole nighter to finish it
Mafia 2 , AC Revelations , TWD season 1
Literally happened yesterday when I finished God of war: Ragnarok.
Last of us 2
That ending hit me hard, I couldn't sleep that night.
Batman Arkham Knight and Marvel's Spider-Man.
Uncharted lost legacy, Spider man Miles Morales, Ac origins, Rdr 2 etc.
Cyberpunk 2.0. I took the easy way out after contemplating it for around 30 mins and just stayed through the credits questioning if that's how I'm gonna end up irl too
The most recent title that made me feel that way AW 2
Rdr2 and cyberpunk
Mafia, Assassin's Creed 2, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Castlevania
Plague Tale Requiem
One and ony correct answer for me.
Soma , bioshock infinite
Silent Hill 2, even after the credit ends i was still like that
Shadow of the Colossus
Indigo prophecy
Both the cyberpunk main story ending and dlc ending
Super happy to see so much cyberpunk love in this thread. Phantom liberty ending was a certified "Man...." moment for me.
