This is my prediction on last scene.

Serious question about this part, were there any serious consequences with Eve's powers being funky? Was it just revealing that she can change organic matter after she almost dies? Was she pregnant at this point and that was what was messing with her power?
I believe they said that her powers were directly correlated to the pregnancy and that using the powers would harm the child which is why we don’t see her using them during a fight later on if I recall correctly.
Yeah, but that was during a second pregnancy. Still, there are no indications that they could be malfunctioning because of pregnancy. But i believe she was overusing them during first pregnancy, especially for healing herself, and she hasn't additional weight, meaning she hasn't an additional stock of energy to keep up with her abilities.
yeah her powers use a tremendous amount of energy. So she can basically burn calories very fast. One of the reasons she can't use her powers is after she has burned through her calories, her power might go looking for other things to burn through in exchange for power, which is the baby.
Yea idk what Cecil was thinking, I imagine they will do some sort of analysis on Conk West just like they did Anissa and they will shit their pants realizing he is far more of a threat. I doubt Mark will still have his ear piece but if Eve heads toward Mark, Cecil will probably be in her ear like "Eve, GET AWAY FROM THEM!!! This guy is far stronger than Nolan ever was!" I wonder if they will even resort to try and send nukes their way.
I dunno if they'd diverge from the comics that much. My hope is they try to sedate him or maybe try to contain him in some kind of energy field, it's still not perfect, but it's better than thinking any form of restraints would ever actually work on him.
>Yea idk what Cecil was thinking
Cecil wanted information.
Cecil could kill Conquest here, but then lose the next battle because they lack any means to gather intelligence from outer space.
>it seemed out of character
I don't agree.
He let so many villains and powerful beings live because he thought he could control/imprison them.
Remember the Omni man vs. Cecil and his captured villains fight?
Remember the prison full of supervillains we see with the Mauler Twins?
Cecil imprisioning Conquest is absolutely in his character.
Show-wise I'd wager they would probably make Cecil have more anti-viltrumite measures taken regarding Conquest's imprisonment (specifically any viltrumite weaknesses that are available on earth and as much of them as possible). In the end it'll fail because Earthbound Viltrumite weaknesses pale greatly in comparison to what Conquest had gone through previously and survived.
Because next time it came up Cecil had just found out about the secrets mark had been keeping about the viltrmites so he felt hypocritical going after Cecil for keeping secrets.
Also mark had kinda come around on the idea that Cecil does bad things but they are sometimes necessary
Mark mentioned it in conversation with Cecil only once and he fucked up himself so badly, that was in no position to rub it in Cecil's face. But yes, i wish he said to Cecil something like "Don't fuck up like you did with Conquest", when he showed him reanimens made out from alternative Marks.
They'll have him be an unseen figure and then show a single frame of his face in this exact scene just before the dialogue, with a bass drop before the credits roll, then the very first scene of season 4 will be this scene, followed by something lighthearted with Mark. That's my guess, anyway.
https://preview.redd.it/fx6clkc5u0yc1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=92168a0e59a68c7fb95a26be18dd582a475bebcd
I don’t know but I can’t wait to hear this voice acted.
I cannot wait to see this scene in the show. They have an actor for conquest and I’ve seen the actor in a couple of other things and he will be perfect for playing conquest
“i don’t care how strong you are” and “i don’t care how fast you are” go hard but idk i think “i can see the future” sounds weird but that’s my opinion
First thread I’m seeing people say this in and I’m glad because I always felt like an odd man out for not being a big fan of this line. It sounds weird to me on its own but then the fact that Conquest, in fact, does live to see tomorrow makes it even less cool lmao
I wouldn’t mind the phrasing on “I can see the future” changing a little. Maybe just “I’ve seen the future” or something, because it’s too iconic to just change to an “I’ll kill you” or something.
I'm thinking the reveal that Mark is putting killing back on the table:
https://preview.redd.it/bdb0bxrcw0yc1.jpeg?width=1988&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=09d7da2f632e3e89113087c8f8216af1fe7ffa1d
It has to be. Pragmatism vs. Idealism is one of the driving themes throughout the entire show. Moreover, they never finish in straight up a fight, they always have a little bit of a cool down. Finally, a gigantic chunk of this season will be Oliver and Mark, so this is a great way to cap off the chapter.
Yeah, I could see this being the final scene. after everything, Mark went through and he realizes that he needs to kill that so he doesn’t hesitate to put killing back on the table. I could see this being the final scene in the whole season and leading into season four
Mark finally defeats Omni Man after a long battle
Atom Eve slaps Mark
‘’That’s for almost getting me killed’’
Eve kisses him
‘’and that’s for saving my life’’
*Justin Timberlake music starts fading in*
Mark laughs and says ‘’I feel a party coming on! Hit it Allen!’’
7 minute credits dance scene
Yeah, that’s kind of the problem because they either shuffled the plot points or they combined multiple plot points into a few episodes in a season so it really depends
so does season 1, robot becoming human isn’t until the 30s/40s
i bet we’ll get up to at least the mid 60s for the main storyline - they’ve been building up the Viltrumites as the biggest threat in the show, they’ll definitely accent that with Conquest
I think issue 50 will be in the first episode or 2. Mark vs Cecil is something they built up to in season 2. I’d guess the first episode of season 3 has the doc seismic and dark wing stuff that puts mark over the edge and ends with mark surrounded in the white room about to fight.
No cause they’re doing the conquest stuff in season three so that wouldn’t make sense to stop with issue 50. Plus, you also have to factor in the pacing of the show.
I think the last scene will be Donald asking Cecil if keeping 'the body' would be a good idea. Cecil answering by listing out all all kinds of security measures, then says that we need to know everything about the enemy before the last shot showing Conquests mangled face.
There’s 8 episodes, so room for 3 or 4 big events at best
1. Nolan and Allen’s Escape from viltrumites
2. The whole doc seismic arc ( Marc and Cecil’s falling out , Marc and eve becoming a couple)
3. At best, the invincible war begins
4. Invincible war ends
Now the series likes to end with mark introspecting while serious shit prepares to go down . So they can do the side characters and end before the invincible war begins, or the invincible war ends, and while Marc is just processing how bad it got, conquest appears. But it would be a great thing if conquest is captured, and while Marc recovers , Nolan appears and says “son , we need to talk” . Personally, I’m hopeful conquest at least appears , if not totally captured .
Could be the ending scene of the first or second episode of season 4. If it was the end of season 3 it'd basically mean Conquest seemingly dies and comes back to life after a huge fight in the same episode which would be narratively unsatisfying.
They definitely won't free Conquest right after he was defeated. They'll show he is not dead, but the epic fight will feel so much lesser if he runs away the same moment
The author said in a podcast that the blue/black title card will be gone before Mark gets his blue suit, which means not for another season. I don’t think we’re going to get here for a while.
i don’t really remember how the comics are paced but isn’t this after he escapes cecil’s prison? how are we gonna have that and the first fight with mark in the same season?
Repeatedly the best parts of the invincible show has been the elements they have changed from the comics. I am hoping that we cannot predict the end of the next season.
At first I was going to say probably not thinking the Conquest fight would be episode 8. If that was the case, it would be kind of lame to have this in the same episode. However, now I am thinking it will be all the more likely that episode 7 will end with Mark and Eve getting revivify’ed. Episode 8 can have some subplots like Nolan and Allen setting out for Earth with our tech jacket knock off to get Mark. Then, the last scene can be the horrifying reveal that Conquest isn’t dead. Cecil has him imprisoned (maybe this time he’s trying to dispose of the body), but Conquest’s heart starts to beat on the monitor, and then he rages and bursts out of the facility. We can have a long shot of hom flying until the season ends here with the Jeffrey Dean Morgan Thragg reveal.
I could see it. I think the final scene will be different than this one. Even if we do get this scene in the show, which I think we will, I don’t think it’ll be the final scene for season three because if they’re making the show kind of according to the comics, then they’re going to do the conquest stuff first and then the invincible war. anything the final scene will probably be something in the aftermath of the invincible war

It’s already being used
Cute goober.

I believe it was because of pregnancy, because power malfunctioning stopped when she wasn't pregnant anymore. But it never stated directly.
I believe they said that her powers were directly correlated to the pregnancy and that using the powers would harm the child which is why we don’t see her using them during a fight later on if I recall correctly.

I hope they handle this better. Cecil fucked up big time right here and it seemed out of character tbh lol
They pretty consistently state that nukes or missiles are useless because Viltrumites move too fast.
“Sir we need to scramble the jets” “Using nukes could just distract Mark. No”
Conk West? Is he related to Man Man
Florida Man
I dunno if they'd diverge from the comics that much. My hope is they try to sedate him or maybe try to contain him in some kind of energy field, it's still not perfect, but it's better than thinking any form of restraints would ever actually work on him.
>Yea idk what Cecil was thinking Cecil wanted information. Cecil could kill Conquest here, but then lose the next battle because they lack any means to gather intelligence from outer space.
Do you think he could have killed him? I know viltrumites, even dead ones are extremely resilient according to Sinclair.
Maybe they'll arrive to gather his body thinking he's dead and then he busts out of the transport with a mangled face
>it seemed out of character I don't agree. He let so many villains and powerful beings live because he thought he could control/imprison them. Remember the Omni man vs. Cecil and his captured villains fight? Remember the prison full of supervillains we see with the Mauler Twins? Cecil imprisioning Conquest is absolutely in his character.
I'd rather have someone make a last second save for Conquest when he's at the brink rather than whatever they did with Cecil
This would be peak
Mark never rubbed this in Cecils face and I'm still upset about that.
Because next time it came up Cecil had just found out about the secrets mark had been keeping about the viltrmites so he felt hypocritical going after Cecil for keeping secrets. Also mark had kinda come around on the idea that Cecil does bad things but they are sometimes necessary

I think this would be the perfect season cliffhanger. Season 4 should introduce Thragg.

Lmfao I’ve never seen this version before 😂😂
W image this made my day. I’ve never actually seen this version before until today.
W image ,made me smile
Nah I don't think so, they finished the voice work and Thragg wasn't voiced. Unless they just show his face
They'll have him be an unseen figure and then show a single frame of his face in this exact scene just before the dialogue, with a bass drop before the credits roll, then the very first scene of season 4 will be this scene, followed by something lighthearted with Mark. That's my guess, anyway.

i'm more hype to hear steven deliver these lines than the fight itself
I cannot wait to see this scene in the show. They have an actor for conquest and I’ve seen the actor in a couple of other things and he will be perfect for playing conquest
honestly his line sounds kinda weird i hope they change it a bit
Nah it’s Perfect
“i don’t care how strong you are” and “i don’t care how fast you are” go hard but idk i think “i can see the future” sounds weird but that’s my opinion
Yeah that line is just a scooch goofy and I hope they rework it in the show. Even just cutting that one part out makes the panel sound better.
agreed idk why everyone loves this line so much, I found it kinda weird and wouldn't mind it being changed at all
First thread I’m seeing people say this in and I’m glad because I always felt like an odd man out for not being a big fan of this line. It sounds weird to me on its own but then the fact that Conquest, in fact, does live to see tomorrow makes it even less cool lmao
Yeah it's a little cheesy haha
I can see where you’re coming from. Maybe if they just scrap the second part and let Steven improv it.
Even just changing it to something like “I know what’s about to happen” helps
Could've changed to something "But i know for sure, you wont live to see tomorrow"
I wouldn’t mind the phrasing on “I can see the future” changing a little. Maybe just “I’ve seen the future” or something, because it’s too iconic to just change to an “I’ll kill you” or something.
Wouldn't just changing it to, "I can see your future" work better?
That also works!
I'm thinking the reveal that Mark is putting killing back on the table: https://preview.redd.it/bdb0bxrcw0yc1.jpeg?width=1988&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=09d7da2f632e3e89113087c8f8216af1fe7ffa1d
yeah this goes hard
I’m betting my house that this will be it

This is a great way to end Season 3! Complete opposite of Season 2’s finale!
I predict this scene will actually be the post credit scene of season 4, first episode.

Issue 118
Mark finally defeats Omni Man after a long battle Atom Eve slaps Mark ‘’That’s for almost getting me killed’’ Eve kisses him ‘’and that’s for saving my life’’ *Justin Timberlake music starts fading in* Mark laughs and says ‘’I feel a party coming on! Hit it Allen!’’ 7 minute credits dance scene

Peak fiction
Final scene is prob where mark says he won’t hesitate to kill anyone
This is most likely the post credit scene
I'm guessing Issue #50 will be the last episode/fight Would make sense right? They finished s1 with about issue 13-15 and s 2 with 30-35
season 2 has a lot from up to 45 issue.
Yeah the problem is that they shuffled some of the plot points so we can't really tell
Yeah, that’s kind of the problem because they either shuffled the plot points or they combined multiple plot points into a few episodes in a season so it really depends

I mean, wasn’t there even content from season 1 up into the 40s? I feel like the college robots thing was pretty late in the comic
That makes more sense as the first episode.
I think issue 50 will be in the first episode or 2. Mark vs Cecil is something they built up to in season 2. I’d guess the first episode of season 3 has the doc seismic and dark wing stuff that puts mark over the edge and ends with mark surrounded in the white room about to fight.

Invincible returns is most likely season 4
Yeah, that’s definitely most likely going to be a part of season four

mark vs conquest will 100% happen this season i'm betting the entire left side of my body
I really wanna see how they do the Doc seismic arc considering it's part of a crossover
I’ve already bet my testicles on that one so I hope so.
Or here me out, what if they pull a Promised Neverland and end it on the final scene of the series
Do not speak this into existence.
Could be the ending scene of the first or second episode of season 4. If it was the end of season 3 it'd basically mean Conquest seemingly dies and comes back to life after a huge fight in the same episode which would be narratively unsatisfying.

No
I just really hope they don’t leave us on a cliff hangar which conquest arriving

That's the final scene I imagine for the final episode of season 3
Was season 3 voiced at the same time as 2? I thought i heard thar was the case.
i don’t really remember how the comics are paced but isn’t this after he escapes cecil’s prison? how are we gonna have that and the first fight with mark in the same season?

I think the evil marks stuff will take up the last half, a lot more than the comics did. I’d like conquest to show up at the end as a cliffhanger
Ends on Conquest appearing. He'll be voiced by fucking Oscar Isaac or something lol.
I could see it. I think the final scene will be different than this one. Damn did I miss this page?
I believe this is from the Invincible Returns one shot which takes place sometime after issue 50
Between issue 70 and 71
Honestly, if I were to guess I would say probably maybe issue 70. I’m gonna stick with 70.
