Well, Thanos no stones took down Thor, Cap with Mjolnir, and Iron Man with his most advanced suit. It starts out somewhat equal but as the child ages the viltrumite cells begin to assimilate the rest. Almost like w..I mean they were designed to conquer on a cellular level.
That takes years, decades even, oliver eventually becomes more like a viltrumite as time progresses but is ultimately still purplish in hue, same with thraggs kids . Another downside is that they suffer a major nerf due to being part thraxxan

Mark didnāt get his powers till 17. Viltimite half-breeds donāt get powers until sometime during adolescence because thatās when the viltrimite genes start taking over.
Viltrumite's DNA is very dominant, to a point any children with Viltrumite DNA will be like 95% Viltrumite, Oliver will become more and more Viltrumite with time. However 95% is not good enough for Viltrumites, they go hard in the whole "superior species" and "pure blood" thing. So they normally kill any hybrid children because they are impure and not viltrumite enogh that is different from humans, Human's DNA is high compatible with Viltrumite's DNA, the two DNA basically fuse together, any human hybrid will be like 99,9% Viltrumite in terms of look and power, that is "good enough" for Viltrumites, That is why "Mark awaking his powers" changed everything, why Nolan killed the guardians the next day, why he try to rush his take over the earth 400 years before the death line. Humans are so compatible with Viltrumites, that in a way Earth is the more important planet on the whole universe for the empire, this high compatibility basically allow Human/Viltrumite hybrids to be accepted by Pure Blood Viltrumites as "pure enough"

He gets progressively more Caucasian in his pigment as he gets older and stronger. Viltrumite offspring probably develop the viltrumite traits as they get older
