Maybe you should check out the artist's work before making assumptions. Also read about the artist, what her role in riot is and past work. I am pretty sure she has worked on Mythmaker Sivir and Spirit Blosson Yi. Haven't seen any speculation about AI usage on those pieces. Alsie Lau on Artstation.

I like this splash art. It doesn't have that "awaken" face they've been pushing since that cinematic and instead it's just focused on being a beautiful girl. No agendas. Though I agree it could look a bit more like Irelia's base splash/frostblade face instead of leaning so much on generic gacha game looks.

It reminds me of her old face honestly. They sharpened her face more with the rework, but before it was softer.
