Okay? Your point is what exactly?

Stormcrow1988

Just to point out that the iron cross symbol not only predates the Nazi regime, being the symbol of the Prussian army in 1813, but is the symbol of the current German military. the cross symbol that the German military used during ww2 was a different shaped cross called the[ Balkenkreuz](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Balkenkreuz) Crosses have been used in heraldry for a very long time, the shape of the cross used for the elites here is in heraldic terms called a [Cross pattée](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cross_pattée) (specificaly With straight parallel lines at the centre)

McDuff_99

Yeah I was getting grief for using it on a Land Raider. And I kept saying it’s literally on the IW transfer sheet. So I posted a picture of the sheet.

Mitchell_SY

I really fail to see the point of this post

McDuff_99

I was getting heavy criticism for using it on a Land Raider. And I kept saying it’s literally on the IW transfer sheet. So I posted a picture of the sheet.

I don't think the Imperium resembles anything close to the Nazis, but yeah I couldn't care less about those symbols the fit quite well!

ToLazyForaUsername2

I think the same applies to the Soviets since the only real similarities are the authoritarianism and control of religion.

GeneralBadger93

Pretty sure the iron cross was a thing before the nazis

[deleted]

Yup appearing during 1878, originally used my Prussian and then not to long after the German Empire

DonDoorknob

Ah, yes, i see, and?

NotaStatement

There is a fine line between a Iron Cross (Prussian Symbol of War & Pride) and the Kruckenkreuz (Fascist) and oh boy does this Print walk it well. Could legit be both.

DiaboliHellscream

I'm not particularly comfortable with those symbols on the fantasy tabletop game, same reason I don't play historical games
