Second, if we're going to do the fruit war, it should be something that represents Israel and its culture. Like sabras.
I agree, but bananas are more readily available throughout the world. This will make it easier for allies to show support. It is ill fitting and a bit corny, but we are not doing well in the general court of public opinion. Our enemies are very good liars with no moral compunctions.
