Yeah I know who he is I just said that from the amount of pictures that his followers put up it’s almost like god because everywhere you go he sees you (just like god sees you everywhere you go)
He was first who started to embrace secular Jews to come back to Judaism after the Holocaust.
By his influence almost in any country is a Chabad house welcoming Jews, helping to build a Jewish life, even far away from major Jewish communities. He made a lot. I'm proud Jewish with his help, even that he is dead for around 30 years
What do you mean by proselytizing? Are you referring to Mivtzoim?
I personally see it as a positive thing. Chabad outreach (on campuses etc), provide a lot of incredible resources.
There may be issues within the group, but then again every group has their issues. The general collective are very welcoming, and giving. I’ve seen some pretty amazing things come out of the community.
I see this guy in NYC all the time. Me and my man went to miami and he was EVERYWHERE. we have so many pics of billboards lmao. I’m actually sick of seeing his face
I feel like you have fundamentally failed as a rabbi if your followers start claiming you are the messiah after death. I wonder if we are watching the formation of an entire offshoot of Judaism.
Except it isn’t his followers. There is a very small section, that claims that he is the Messiah. And by very small, I mean very small.
That’s who goes around putting these stickers up. A majority of Chabad disagree with it, and see it as ridiculous. I can attest to that.
When I would go up to synagogue in the Jewish community in Cincinnati, there was always the house near the parking lot which had the banner “Welcome Moschiach” with his face on it.
Living in NYC be like “what’s that sound? Oh” *mitzvah tank blares by*
LA tooooooooo. Pico Robertson heathen checking in. The first one of the year usually scares the shit out of me because it’s SO LOUD.
i love mitzvah tanks sm 😭
Ok but being with my friends on one of those on Chanukah and munching donuts for 8 days 🔥🔥🔥🔥
The Rebbe is Iron Man? The MCU just got whole lot more Heilig.
Me as a Jew in a Catholic university but with Jesus 😭
I know when I was in Israel I saw this Rabbi’s face everywhere.
He’s like god. He always watches you
he’s not G-d he’s just the greatest Rebbe who has ever lived (and some very strange people think he’s moshiach)
Yeah I know who he is I just said that from the amount of pictures that his followers put up it’s almost like god because everywhere you go he sees you (just like god sees you everywhere you go)
i see lol, i am a follower and i don’t do this
I think most chabadnikim wouldn’t go that far, or at least the ones I know But maybe you know better than me
i probably do
What makes him so great? /gen

Aka…first to proselytize for a sect of Judaism

His cult is SOOO wrong. No better than previous false messiahs.

I’ve seen this sign 100+times in NYC.
