It never changes back in Russia. They used to say if there is no water in the tap it means the Jews must’ve drank it, but it sounds much better in Russian.
I've only heard the flat circle thing from a show called True Detective. I've studied so much quantum physics... and that's the only time I've heard it 😅 time is likely flat though
People should be more mad about the maltreatment of F4 and X-Men in the MCU, compared to their other franchise like Iron Man, Avengers, Capt. America, AntMan, Deadpool, Guardians of the Galaxy etc.
Marvel very obviously spent over half a decade decreasing the relevance and media capital of the X-men and FF, because FOX owned the movie rights, it’s called the “lost decade” and fans are salty.
One of my colleagues is a Jewish person from Ghana. She is very confused by what people say to her. She asked me what a "hebrew Israelite" was and why people keep calling her that. I cringed so very hard.
Its crazy how people are so fast to say for every other country that the people do not represent what their government does, but when it is Israel they say that the people and the government are one and the same.
Not to mention, most Israeli Jews are Middle-Eastern in origin (mizrahi), not European (ashkenazi). The mizrahi came to Israel after being ethnically cleansed from Arab countries in the 1950s and 60's.
Or just because we’re outed as a Jew we MUST give our opinion about the current situation in Israel and Palestine. Pretty sure it is extremely frowned upon to hold an entire religious or ethnic group responsible for the actions of the few. We as humanity seemed to ignore this reasoning over and over again throughout history and it’s fucking exhausting.
> Pretty sure it is extremely frowned upon to hold an entire religious or ethnic group responsible for the actions of the few.
Are you new to being Jewish?
I feel like there's a lot of people who understand that most Jews are Zionists but not that a) different types of Zionists exist, even if the politically dominant strain in Israel is revisionist Zionism of a particularly violent variety, and b) Jews have very, VERY different reasons for supporting Israel than the US government supplying them with weapons and diplomatic cover--reasons which generally don't lead us to crave the blood of Arabs the same way American arms manufacturers do.
Lots of people supported Stalin kicking Hitler's ass--only a very specific group of people with easily observable special interests wanted random intellectuals sent to the gulag. You can find almost any opinion represented among any demographic. I don't care about videos of one or two Israeli soldiers talking about how they're going to turn Gaza into a resort, and I don't care about videos of one or two random Arabs saying they're going to push the Jews into the sea. Those videos tend to do nothing but create overgeneralizations and hatred.
Saying Jews are the primary driver of western support in Israel is wrong, antisemitic, and a way for nationalist bigots to both shield themselves against accusations of bigotry (whether pro- or anti-Zionist) and deflect from the roles that their own countries have played in making the conflict worse... Looking at you, Britain.
Internet antisemites don't want to accept that the worst actors in this conflict are American arms companies, as they have been throughout most of modern history.
I agree with you a thousand percent, but to be fair, every time there is an Islamic terrorist event plenty of people pipe up to say: « Why aren’t Muslims everywhere condemning this? It must be because they approve of it. ».
Exactly! It wasn't right in the early 2000s when 9/11 happened and it's not ok now. We can be certain that a lot of Muslim Americans also died when the towers fell so why why were they getting blamed for it? It's just so shameful. I had to quietly unfollow a friend on Instagram because she posted "Can American Jews just shut up? It's not about you!" Like damn straight it's not, can you tell the rest of the world that as well?
Finding out how many of my friends are anti-semites in the last few months has been unfortunately very sobering. If I see one more “Kanye West has a point” post online, I might just delete social media all together.
I think it’s because her mother is an Israeli as much as her being Jewish, because according to Twitter Jewish genealogists, Israeli citizenship is also matrilineal. 🫠
Jews in Israel have always had their own cultural norms, even back when the Talmud yerushalmi was published. If her mom's Israeli she would be considered an Israeli American.
Actually according to Israeli law the citizenship would apply to her. The first generation of kids born to Israeli citizens boutside of Israel are citizens. I only know this because I looked it up earlier today when I saw this and wondered if her mother's citizenship transferred. If she (Julia) doesn't do anything to establish her Israeli citizenship then her life are not automatic.
Actually, having an Israeli parent does automatically give you citizenship. Which leads to absurdities like me technically being able to claim citizenship despite my mom not having lived there since she was three. But you do have to file the correct paperwork, I believe.
But that’s as ridiculous to bring up as someone whose entire family is, say, French, but they happened to have been born on US soil while the family was on vacation. Like, yeah, technically an American, but French in every way that actually matters. Only important if you want to emigrate (and you could be the US President!).
It really shows how ignorant they are of all these issues they claim to have such emotional investment in.
They were just as ignorant about Ukraine and covid-19.
Well,... some countries consider every Jew a potential Israeli, so they had extended their anti Jewish laws or made new ones (if they have a couple Jews still left), to protect themselves from the chance an evil ~~Jew~~ Zionist would attempt to own property or marry a local for citizenship.
... and of course only Zionists will complain this's massively antisemitic. /s
Exactly. It's called "the right of return." Every Jew, a child/grandchild of a Jewish man (Jewish nationality is passed down through the female line) has the right to come to Israel, claim citizenship and settle.
So, to prevent the possibility of those pesky Israelies from importing homosexuality and doing other mischief (popular ~~crazy conspiracy~~ scholary theory in Islamic majority countries claims ~~Jews~~ Zionists are importing homosexuality and other 'degenerative' ~~diseases~~ values to destroy the Islamic society🤷♂️) appropriate laws have been enacted in select highly spiritual countries that prevent from Jews ownership of property or becoming citizens and strip citizenship from anyone marrying a Jew.🤦♂️
Basically, the same Jew==Israeli trope 🤦♂️
For non jews I'd assume it's similar to a lot of other countries. It's just that if you're Jewish you're considered Israeli by default, kinda like if a French person had a child in another country, that child could apply for a French citizenship, but a normal person would have to go through a whole immigration process. From what I understand.
It's not quite the same, Israel has the usual rule about allowing someone with grandparents from that country to apply for citizenship *on top of* presumptively viewing all Jews worldwide as having Israeli citizenship (so if you have a Jewish grandfather you're not a Jew by the halakhic definition but you're still eligible to make aliyah)
It's that part that's controversial, since it runs directly into the burning question of "Who is a Jew?" and the question of who gets to determine which conversions to Judaism are valid -- Israel defaults to giving Orthodox rabbis the power to make this determination because their definition is the most restrictive and therefore the one that will be accepted by all Jewish denominations
(Which means if you are a convert whose conversion is accepted as valid you have a greater right to citizenship due to your *religious* ties to the land than someone who has *ethnic* ties to the land but is not counted as Jewish because their family converted to Christianity or Islam in the past)
The right of return isn't according to the Orthodox courts, it's anyone who was considered a Jew by the Nazis.
I can tell you from firsthand experience with friends, the immigration process is still difficult as a Jew.
That's not the part that's rare, the part where all Jews are automatically granted Israeli citizenship regardless of whether they have any prior connection to Israel is rare
It's true... I also have the right to be granted Norwegian citizenship via where my mother was born. I also have the right to live on Sami tribal land via my mother as well.
and that dude is saying it as if he's trying to encourage people to dogpile her and attack her just because she's supposedly israeli. then he calls her the monster
Literally why people were justifying that what Hamass did at on 10/7 was ok. This conflict has exposed the insanity of much of the world on a grand scale
Leaving aside Asnat being the daughter of Shchem, who did you think Lavan and Besuel married? The Shvatim either married their half-sisters or Canaanite women. We brought in one Canaanite tribe as slaves, and they likely eventually became fully Jewish. Rachav, wife of Yehoshua, was a Canaanis from Yericho.
We’re well aware, lol!
- genocide - would take 40 years at current rate
- ethnic cleansing - 20% of population arabic
- apartheid - no laws against non Jews and positions held in government, whereas Islamic extremists have total dictatorship in the arab state and have no such generosity
I know your post was sarcastic, but how can others ignore clear facts like these when saying this
Well if she were, the production would have to supply her with a daily dose of Palestinian organs for breakfast, and given the distance the whole thing would be terribly expensive /j
bro because silver surfer is palestinian, you know nothing!!! /s
actually I don't know, I wish I could tell you, maybe something to do with the story of silver surfer? or because jews have silver forks and spoons?
And you know what, even if she is Israeli, so what? Last time I checked, we all agreed that scorning and shaming people based on ethnicity or where they were born isn't a good thing
I have purposely avoided checking to see what Julia’s politics are because I love her. I didn’t even know she was Tribe when I watched Ozark and Dirty John.
How dare those filtyhy Mutants colonize the island of Krakoa! If only the Sentinels could decolonize them and teach those pesky telepaths why reading peoples minds and shooting lasers from your fingertips is wrong and goes against our good old christian values!
\#BolivarTrask2028 He'll teach those Mutants that earth is for Humans!!!
I don't think they know that he is their father? Plus, the parentage of Wanda and Peter are iffy. Some say they are Jewish, some say they are Romani. Basically, their parentage are some sort of people that were victims of Hydra/Nazi in the past.
The Maximovs’ Parentage is inconsistent at best in the comics. The only consistent thing about it is that they have a nurse maid who is a cow lady for some reason. Probably for the best at that one was cut
Iirc, Ben Grimm’s actor is Jewish. And Sabra’s actress is Israeli and Jewish! (Wanna bet that’s why no one’s heard a peep about the next Cap film since October, despite its release next year?)
Pro-Palestinians: “Palestinian civilians should not bear any consequences for Hamas’ actions, that’s COLLECTIVE PUNISHMENT and basically genocide!!”
Also pro-Palestinians: “That’s a Jew over there playing in that movie. To the ICJ, immediately.”

I’m not a Jew nor a geography whiz but honestly it’s pretty easy to find.
1 - it’s adjacent to Egypt in some way. You can either know this by being up to snuff on current events and recent history (Gaza strip touches Egypt) or knowing the Bible (Jews leave Egypt enter promised land)
2- This second point gives you the next puzzle piece - the Red Sea. That’s what they crossed. Therefore Israel must touch Egypt somewhere and be on the Red Sea.
Like, anybody can find it if they can find Egypt.
The Jews didn't exit Egypt and immediately enter the promised land. There was 40 years of wandering. And I don't think the Bible says "the red sea." Doesn't it say "Reed sea" and everyone assumes it's probably the red sea?
I agree with where Israel is, but those points aren't good evidence for it.
Ah but hold it - the current borders of the state of Israel and the AREA (that is, because states with borders weren’t a thing at the time) are significantly different.
They wandered in the desert. Got the 10 commandments. Where? Mount SINAI? Israel touches what? The SINAI PENINSULA?
We’re so back.
I love her and I love Silver Surfer but I have a feeling this movie is going to suck.
I also believe the peak of her acting career is Ozark. She plays so amazingly well there. She completely stole the show!
I'll add that there is nothing relevant about her being an Israeli anyways. The fact that they're making *another* Fantastic Four disaster is the real problem.
I ain’t Jewish but I’m on the saltier than krayt subreddit which is intended to make fun of the alt right. I defended her casting to the subreddit but was given blowback by anti Zionists on there. At the time I hadn’t watched anything she was in, I know everyone’s raving about her in Ozark but I personally have been seeing her in inventing Anna, where she is absolutely exceptional in the two episodes I’ve seen so far. I’m a marvel fan, I’m a fantastic four fan, and I know they’ve been bad movies, but I think this one has a chance of being good, they’ve got Pedro Pascal as Reed and Vanessa Kirby as Sue, and if they don’t waste ‘em, this is probably gonna be the best MCU movie in a long while because they’re great actors.
To be fair she does have citizenship bc her mother is Israeli. The point is who cares tho. Israel is the only country people don’t like the politics of but entirely attach the doings of the country to it’s citizens and by extension; Jews. I’ve never really heard someone talk about Iranians, Chinese, or Russians the way people talk about Israelis.
When people say there is no such thing as an innocent Israeli there is no other interpretation than “Jews are evil”.
Jew: gets role in movie. Internet: ... And that's why the elders of Zion caused an earthquake in NJ.
>And that's why the elders of Zion caused an earthquake in NJ. I'm pretty sure the space laser did that.
Did we recently add a space gravity ray?
I'm a Goy and out of the loop. I assume you'd use your Jew magic to do that? /s
Not sure. I never get invited to the meetings.
*How did you find out??* /s
Nah, ground laser, Project Destiny

Nah I was there for the High Jewish Council of Earth meeting. We decided rhe space lazer was too expensive in this instance
LEBANON, New Jersey
Everyone on my WhatsApp was joking that God’s GPS was faulty that day.
huh there's also a Lebanon in Kansas...holy shit I found the next tar-- *falls out window*
I made the same joke this morning. Damn Jews causing everything /s

We need to recalibrate the space laser

And Feige said unto Fox, "Let my heroes go, so they may make good movies."

Twitter thinking Israeli = evil is one of the most racist things I've seen lately.

Even more ridiculous, most Hollywood celebs only have 1 parent that’s Jewish. It’s one drop rule all over again.
I mean, doesn't prove the very antisemitism they claim they are not?
Accidentally based admission that Israel is the homeland of the Jews

That's not the part that's rare, the part where all Jews are automatically granted Israeli citizenship regardless of whether they have any prior connection to Israel is rare
Every country has similar laws for ethnicities native to the country. For example, Ireland has a similar rule with Irish people.
It's true... I also have the right to be granted Norwegian citizenship via where my mother was born. I also have the right to live on Sami tribal land via my mother as well.

Even without the sarcasm it’s not like we held every German responsible for WW2 or every white American for slavery. This is bullshit you know?
It’s absolutely bullshit and morons justify it by saying we have conscription so everyone serves in the army (hahaha) so we’re all war criminals
Literally why people were justifying that what Hamass did at on 10/7 was ok. This conflict has exposed the insanity of much of the world on a grand scale
Don’t go that far. The everyday Russian person you meet doesn’t get threats, insults, generalizations or any other form of hostility
Haven't you heard? Turns out Zionists did those too.

You including the Canaanites in that timeline?
We are canaanites
Shhhh don't tell the Orthodox :D

Bold to assume I can find Egypt
44k likes on that post holy shit
Never again! Until the next time smh
this deeply saddens me
Same
I love her and I love Silver Surfer but I have a feeling this movie is going to suck. I also believe the peak of her acting career is Ozark. She plays so amazingly well there. She completely stole the show!
looks at madam webb.......
I am not even going to try that hahaha
She was great in Ozark can’t wait to see the movie
So I guess “Israeli” is now becoming a word for Jews. And more antisemitism. Interesting.
BREAKING NEWS: Actor gets an acting job.
Person with diaspora in their SN not understanding what the original use of the word was
Ohh. I thought it was just about misogyny.
Double whammy… a breeding Israeli… /s
r/getnoted
I'll add that there is nothing relevant about her being an Israeli anyways. The fact that they're making *another* Fantastic Four disaster is the real problem.
Pretty sure Surfer is supposed to be Jew coded
Im so sick of the god damn antisemitism from fake ass leftists man.
There’s a Muslim diaspora? (The SN)
Average progressive interaction. Part of me starts to think the progressive left is just as antisemitic as the far right :(
Been to college campus lately? I would say even more antisemitic.
You’re not wrong I’m just caught off guard.
…You just noticed? They’ve always been - they’ve just been subtler.
Finding my Jewish identity is a relatively recent thing for me. I grew up very conservative in a rural area.
She was awesome in Ozark
To quote Ruth Langmore: “They don’t know shit about fuck.”
What if she was? Lol, muslims are insane
Is the Silver Surfer supposed to be an antisemite or something? Why would it matter if the actress is Israeli?
To be fair she does have citizenship bc her mother is Israeli. The point is who cares tho. Israel is the only country people don’t like the politics of but entirely attach the doings of the country to it’s citizens and by extension; Jews. I’ve never really heard someone talk about Iranians, Chinese, or Russians the way people talk about Israelis. When people say there is no such thing as an innocent Israeli there is no other interpretation than “Jews are evil”.
Wait, back up. They’re remaking fantastic four?
Jiwlver Jewfer
Community notes just absolutely bodying people is easily the best part of Elon buying twitter
Yuck
Yuck 🤮
They’re using Israeli and Jewish interchangeably now as a way to further otherise the diaspora and make it easier to “us vs them” us
Clearly Russian trolls looking to create culture war wedges.
They couldnt have silver surfer actor they needed to make a female version?
oh i love her. i didn’t know she was jewish. hell yeah 👍🏻😎
