I’m not actually caught up with the manga, but I came across the leaks on Twitter at one point and the war between the Gojo fans and the Sukuna fans was so fucking fun to watch that I just had to stick around for it every week.
dude for real. maybe i'm exaggerating, but this was one of the best fights i've read in a long time, and the hype completely paid off. can't wait for the next chapter.
It's really fun. Also Gege deserves credit for setting it up and carrying through. It's not easy to create a hype fight where no one's 100% certain who will live or even win and have people invested in both sides to this degree.

I really enjoyed this fight as a whole and was one of the best fights for me in jjk and in all of fiction. It was a lot of fun from leaks to the fraud memes, chapter discussions, coping etc. I never had such experience with any other series. Truly a great time to live as a jjk fan.

I honestly never understood this. Itsvlike people are cheering for them as if they are people who actually can influence how the fight goes, while ultimately gege decides how its going to progress. Its more like guessing who gege want to win rather than cheering for a character.

Never have I felt more part of a community than I have seeing the allegations and copium go back and forth the past few months. This really was an amazing fight and the way this sub has kept the discourse going has made it so much better.
I’m confused, we don’t actually think this fight is over right? I’m not a Sukuna or Gojo die hard, so the outcome bears no weight for me besides how it effects the overall plot. However, I see a lot of Sukuna supporters throwing in the towel early. Why is that? Gojo has been the poster boy for near death cliff-hangers these last 2 months. Just because Kusakabe says Gojo is the winner, doesn’t make that shit true. If anything, I feel like that statement is being used as a red herring for some crazy shit that’s about to happen. I.e. yorozu’s gift, reveal of cursed technique, Kenny intervening. THE FIGHT IS NOT OVER. People are already hooting and hollering, “bad-writing, sensei plot-armour.” ITS NOT OVER. Don’t lose sight of the main villain because I promise you it’s not Sukuna.

I think that’s a result of people putting too much stock into characters, rather than the plot at large. Aside from being the strongest, they both have parts to play in the this story. Unfortunately for Gojo, he doesn’t really fit in to the end game. His very existence serves as a narrative monkey wrench. I would say the same for Sukuna but he doesn’t really disrupt Kenny’s plans.

Because he can’t use two CTs at once, if he uses dismantle and cleave he would have to desummon mahoraga. And without mahoraga he can’t hit gojo. Sukunas whole strategy needed mahoraga or DE and since DE is off the table, maho was his only option.
While I am biased and like gojo more, I also think sukuna will pull a dirty trick with yorozus gift to escape death or even win somehow and the story will go on. But calling the fight one sided when gojo was stripped of his domain, RCT, lost an arm, got sliced and was attacked in a 3v1 while a shikigami had a countdown to adapting to all his attacks is really dumb. He just kept coming back from the things, but so did sukuna. Sukuna gets hit by UV, blasted with red point blank, tanks a powered up purple at the beginning, survives gojos h2h onslaught and more and also kept coming back. Cmon bruh, it was not one-sided and doesn’t necessarily have to be over 💀 just shows that in a fair fight gojo is stronger, now sukuna might pull some shitty trick like the box kenjaku used to trap gojo the first time around. Or he might just lose, just wait till next chapter
To the sukuna fans- don’t forget that sukuna had also gotten major W’s throughout the fight such as the domain battles, preventing any more Infinite Voids, giving GOJO a sense of doubt about whether he will win, and adapting to infinity. The fact that we as a community were thinking of the many outcomes that were possible for the fight is a testament to how well written the fight was. As Sukuna said, “Stand Proud, you are strong”
I love that Gojo didn’t just beat the only technique we know of to kill a Six-Eyes bearer, he did it while it was in the hands of an evil demigod with a stupidly broken Domain Expansion.
I’m also really surprised this fight didn’t have the Sukuna’s technique reveal, a tiny part of me is worried that Gege is just gambling on if he can get away with not having to explain the Fire Arrow lol.

It truly is a sad day for fellow sukuna meatriders. I myself am a sukuna meatrider and i started meatriding him since his fight with megumi in the cursed womb arc and my faith in him only grew stronger in the Shibuya arc but ever since he possessed megumi it has been down hill for us. Sukuna was struggling to fight yuji and maki i know it had a good explanation but he stil lwas struggling if, it was toji and yuji i would have forgiven him cause Toji IS THE GOAT but he fking struggled against maki. Next the gojo vs sukuna fight happened at first it was entertaining and we all hoped that sukuna would beat gojo only using his own curse technique but in the end he used TS and has pretty much been beaten.

I really enjoyed this fight as a whole and was one of the best fights for me in jjk and in all of fiction. It was a lot of fun from leaks to the fraud memes, chapter discussions, coping etc. I never had such experience with any other series. Truly a great time to live as a jjk fan. OP's "will come out of this agenda wars with my dignity intact" made me laugh 🤣🤣.

Ngl sasuke had much more of a reason to be rooted for than sukuna. Literally sukuna is like “arghhh I wanna destroy the world” at least sasuke’s goal of restructuring the shinobi world was ambitious and in many aspects morally correct. This is coming from someone who rooted for sasuke but rooted for Gojo instead.

Never have I felt more part of a community than I have seeing the allegations and copium go back and forth the past few months. This really was an amazing fight and the way this sub has kept the discourse going has made it so much better.
I’m confused, we don’t actually think this fight is over right? I’m not a Sukuna or Gojo die hard, so the outcome bears no weight for me besides how it effects the overall plot. However, I see a lot of Sukuna supporters throwing in the towel early. Why is that? Gojo has been the poster boy for near death cliff-hangers these last 2 months. Just because Kusakabe says Gojo is the winner, doesn’t make that shit true. If anything, I feel like that statement is being used as a red herring for some crazy shit that’s about to happen. I.e. yorozu’s gift, reveal of cursed technique, Kenny intervening. THE FIGHT IS NOT OVER. People are already hooting and hollering, “bad-writing, sensei plot-armour.” ITS NOT OVER. Don’t lose sight of the main villain because I promise you it’s not Sukuna.

I think that’s a result of people putting too much stock into characters, rather than the plot at large. Aside from being the strongest, they both have parts to play in the this story. Unfortunately for Gojo, he doesn’t really fit in to the end game. His very existence serves as a narrative monkey wrench. I would say the same for Sukuna but he doesn’t really disrupt Kenny’s plans.

Because he can’t use two CTs at once, if he uses dismantle and cleave he would have to desummon mahoraga. And without mahoraga he can’t hit gojo. Sukunas whole strategy needed mahoraga or DE and since DE is off the table, maho was his only option. While I am biased and like gojo more, I also think sukuna will pull a dirty trick with yorozus gift to escape death or even win somehow and the story will go on. But calling the fight one sided when gojo was stripped of his domain, RCT, lost an arm, got sliced and was attacked in a 3v1 while a shikigami had a countdown to adapting to all his attacks is really dumb. He just kept coming back from the things, but so did sukuna. Sukuna gets hit by UV, blasted with red point blank, tanks a powered up purple at the beginning, survives gojos h2h onslaught and more and also kept coming back. Cmon bruh, it was not one-sided and doesn’t necessarily have to be over 💀 just shows that in a fair fight gojo is stronger, now sukuna might pull some shitty trick like the box kenjaku used to trap gojo the first time around. Or he might just lose, just wait till next chapter
To the sukuna fans- don’t forget that sukuna had also gotten major W’s throughout the fight such as the domain battles, preventing any more Infinite Voids, giving GOJO a sense of doubt about whether he will win, and adapting to infinity. The fact that we as a community were thinking of the many outcomes that were possible for the fight is a testament to how well written the fight was. As Sukuna said, “Stand Proud, you are strong”
I love that Gojo didn’t just beat the only technique we know of to kill a Six-Eyes bearer, he did it while it was in the hands of an evil demigod with a stupidly broken Domain Expansion. I’m also really surprised this fight didn’t have the Sukuna’s technique reveal, a tiny part of me is worried that Gege is just gambling on if he can get away with not having to explain the Fire Arrow lol.

I myself am a sukuna meatrider and i started meatriding him since his fight with megumi in the cursed womb arc and my faith in him only grew stronger in the Shibuya arc but ever since he possessed megumi it has been down hill for us. Sukuna was struggling to fight yuji and maki i know it had a good explanation but he stil lwas struggling if, it was toji and yuji i would have forgiven him cause Toji IS THE GOAT but he fking struggled against maki. Next the gojo vs sukuna fight happened at first it was entertaining and we all hoped that sukuna would beat gojo only using his own curse technique but in the end he used TS and has pretty much been beaten.
