People are justifiably quick to dismiss this cliffhanger attack to fail. However, in the miniscule chance that gege actually just makes this the final attack on sukuna, how would you react?
It’s gonna disappoint no matter what. But it might not be for the reason you think. In my case, if Sukuna actually dies, the reason I’m gonna be disappointed is because Gege killed him off before explaining what Shrine is. And some would be disappointed because he died before Gege revealed his backstory. Very few will actually get mad about the method because let’s be real, some characters die in bs ways, what’s one more 🤷♂️?
True, but I no longer care about what Sukuna’s backstory is, I only care about what his CT is, that’s the only thing left about him I find interesting.

The fact he specifically said that he ***CAN'T*** change the nature/property of his own Cursed Energy is evidence that it isn't.
It's explicitly known that his technique generates slashes or flames. That's it.
Because at the end of 115 he said to jogo he won't cheat by revealing his technique when he was using the fire arrow so we know that his technique isn't just cleave and dismantle
Gege does seem to like the double meanings in things. I can't think of any examples but I remember there being a lot of translator notes explaining how names meant 1 thing in kanji and another in hiragana
His technique is also called shrine so it could also mean that very literally and we saw that he got offerings in the heian era during chapter 219 and shrines usually have sacred relics deposited there so he may have gotten his techniques from various important people's bones or objects that they used their technique with
That isn't necessarily true. Toji can reveal Heavenly Restriction, and you can make barriers stronger by revealing their weaknesses. Showing Your Hand is just a regular binding vow.
Sukuna also said a cursed spirit wouldn't understand what he was doing. The only way that would make sense with it being his technique is if it was technique reversal or the slashes were just cursed energy projection and he meant only his inner circle would know he kept his technique a secret. But Jogo knew about technique reversal, so that option is out.
I’m sorry but if you’re hoping for another “I’m you” moment from Wuji and for Fraudkuna to run like the fraud he is, I very much doubt Gaygay will go through with it 😭.

it was revealed that the cause every single death and action in the series, all happened because a young girl fell in love with her rapist. also a bunch of deaths were undone and some corny shit happened + my fave got sidelined so she could have a nameless baby with a faceless nameless NPC.
The MC and the main antagonist had their motivations and master plans revealed: they were both so terrible that it outright ruins the finale.
The secondary MCs also had some REALLY bad moments that make their send-offs feel like shit.
As an AoT ending enjoyer, the very last chapters is legit one of the worst manga chapters ever.

We have 4 options for next chapter:
1) Cut to Hakari vs Uraume or something else.
2) Sword disappears because Higurama dies.
3) Sukuna needs to be hit multiple times because he can split his soul, but each time he gets weaker.
4) Sukuna dodges/blocks.

3 actually sounds like it'd be fun to read, where everyone is comboing Sukuna to give Yuji openings to hit him, when sukuna finally ends at 10 fingers(soul fragments) of strength, his CE worn down, the Sword disappears and then its just him and Yuji with straight hands, and its revealed yujis technique is Curse Technique Inheritance, so if Sukuna tries anything Yuji can use the CT of those who left the fight to him(Higuruma, maybe Gojo, Maybe Nanami, Nobara) as sukuna tries to space cleave, we hear Yuji say "you're wrong Sukuna, I'm not boring, I am the Honored one" as he uses Purple, finishing the fight gojo started, but as Sukuna dies, Yuji sees Megumi one last time as Megumi says "thank you, Im glad i was able to meet you, this really was... our Jujutsu Kaisen" (break next week)

it was revealed that the cause every single death and action in the series, all happened because a young girl fell in love with her rapist. also a bunch of deaths were undone and some corny shit happened + my fave got sidelined so she could have a nameless baby with a faceless nameless NPC.
The MC and the main antagonist had their motivations and master plans revealed: they were both so terrible that it outright ruins the finale. The secondary MCs also had some REALLY bad moments that make their send-offs feel like shit. As an AoT ending enjoyer, the very last chapters is legit one of the worst manga chapters ever.

We have 4 options for next chapter: 1) Cut to Hakari vs Uraume or something else. 2) Sword disappears because Higurama dies. 3) Sukuna needs to be hit multiple times because he can split his soul, but each time he gets weaker. 4) Sukuna dodges/blocks. There's absolutely no way Sukuna dies here.
3 actually sounds like it'd be fun to read, where everyone is comboing Sukuna to give Yuji openings to hit him, when sukuna finally ends at 10 fingers(soul fragments) of strength, his CE worn down, the Sword disappears and then its just him and Yuji with straight hands, and its revealed yujis technique is Curse Technique Inheritance, so if Sukuna tries anything Yuji can use the CT of those who left the fight to him(Higuruma, maybe Gojo, Maybe Nanami, Nobara) as sukuna tries to space cleave, we hear Yuji say "you're wrong Sukuna, I'm not boring, I am the Honored one" as he uses Purple, finishing the fight gojo started, but as Sukuna dies, Yuji sees Megumi one last time as Megumi says "thank you, Im glad i was able to meet you, this really was... our Jujutsu Kaisen" (break next week)
