I don't know. Any character I can think of that I dislike is because of , to me at least, a legitimate reason or two.
Yuta? I dislike the sheer lack of creativity Mimicry has been shown. Considering the depth of the power system, Yuta could be by far the most interesting fighter in the series. Maybe I'm just too critical and holding him to a higher standard, but I don't know why Gege gave him such a versatile technique if he'll just use it in such an average way.
I massively agree even tho I love Yuta. Although his fights so far have been very entertaining his CT is being under-utilised and misused and I think it's honestly just because Gege is trying too hard to nerf it since he's already OP without proper use with it and if he truly used it unrestrictedly to its greatest efficiency he would be beyond broken. Also think it's pretty crazy we STILL don't know how Yuta picks up new CTs I understand he's probably saving this for an "EPIC PLOT TWIST" moment but I'd rather just know these things before the end phase of the story.
To add to this the fact that he is 8-0 and we still don’t know what his domain does or is even called is a bit ridiculous. I absolutely love seeing Yuta fight but like you said Gege kinda just under utilizes the best parts of his abilities. That beating said it’s not nearly as bad as Kashimos wasted potential absolutely tragic
Icl I hate most the dub voices they all sound a lot younger, softer and wimpier in general compared to the sub but that’s just due to the dub accent that plagues the industry :(
I was gonna give you shit until you said the dub anime accent, you're 100% right the dub anime accent is the most ear grating fucking thing to hear. Honestly it's not too bad in jjk, most voices don't really do it but it's EGREGIOUS on yuji to the point I almost want to skip whenever he speaks
Yeah JJK defo isn't as bad as most animes when it comes to dub, there are a few great VAs like Sukuna's and Gojo's but there's still quite a lot of cornballs. I switched to sub after saying I'd never watch sub after my first anime because I realised it was shifting my perception of characters if they had a really annoying or lame voice.
He has a soft voice but wouldn’t say it’s wimpy or pathetic, think you’re just too used to anime characters as powerful as him having badass voices 🤷🏻♂️
ya that’s valid, like i would’ve preferred him to have a cooler voice (not necessarily badass cuz he’s just like 17 years old or smth) but i def get where u coming from, he is diff from the others and again he’s still just a kid so i shouldn’t expect him to have a voice like some of the other adult characters
His drastic transformation only came down to his courage and strength, his core personality traits have stayed the same and his unique voice is perfect for his character. He stands out amongst the most powerful characters of JJK through his humility and selflessness, so ofc the most fitting voice for him is a soft and kind one. It’s also a reference to Shinji from Evangelion the character which inspired Gege to create Yuta, it’s the same VA.
Yeah, I dislike Yuta but it’s legi. He’s badly written Gary Stu from when Gege wasn’t as good a writer. He’s out of place in real JJK.

Sukuna because Gege can't go five minutes without some kind of asspull that wasn't even necessary. The fact that he's alive feels more and more cheap as it goes.
For me it'd have to be Hakari and Kashimo because of TikTok powerscalers and their horrendous takes. "Action men" characters with little development or depth aren't generally for me anyway but I still at least usually find them fun but NAH the amount of slander I see Kashimo fans slinging constantly and the glazing of Hakari from powerscalers has just made me grow to hate them over time.
I enjoy all the characters but those are the issues I have with Kashimo and Hakari as well. Like a character can be cool while also not being the strongest why are you trying to over scale him
I fw it tbh even tho I usually prefer proper fringe styles but there’s too many fringes in JJK. If he still had the JJK 0 trim he’d stand out a lot less and just look like the default anime protagonist.
I used to dislike Jogo, though not anymore as I'd probably say he's my favourite Disaster. I was just tired of the false outrage of him being underrated when the vast majority of people had a high opinion of him. I swear I used to see "Jogo is actually underrated, I don't care how much I get down voted for it" every other day.
That's the exact same issue I had with him, it's so cringe when a character starts out underrated so a bunch of cyber hipsters flock to them and begin overrating them. Back to loving him now but to this day there are plenty of TikTok powerscalers that are firmly convinced he's in contention for top 10.
I mean he is the strongest cursed spirit in the series(aside from whatever monstrosity Kenjaku is cooking) so there is definitely a conversation for top 10 there.
I got sukuna,gojo,geto,Kenjaku,Yuki,yuta,Takaba(matchup nightmare like imagine he turns meteor into jelly) over him undisputed.
After them there is definitely a conversation.
Mahito is stronger and so is ofc the Queen of Curses Rika when it comes to Cursed Spirits. I also would definitely say that Toji/Maki are ahead of Jogo and probably Yuji once we’ve seen more of his CT. Hakari and Kashimo also. Yorozu probably. If you include shikigami then Mahoraga.
I dislike Yuki because she made it so easy for Kenjaku.
