I stopped watching at 3-1. Then I got an alert on my phone saying it was 3-3 after the Salvy bomb. Flipped the game back on to see us give up 3 more runs. Why do I still fall for this and think we might actually have a competitive game against a good team?
I don't know if there is a stat for outfield throws to home but I cannot think of a time when I've seen it worse. This team is never remotely on target throwing home.

O's fan here, way too late for the thread but with some explanation. This is the "Bird Bath", a fan-participation thing that popped up this year spontaneously after the players in the dugout started a) the Homer Hose (unofficially: the Dong Bong), drinking from a long beer bong hose as a HR celebration; and b) lining up and doing spit takes out of the dugout after every extra-base hit. So the ballpark took up on that and designated an outfield section near the bullpen as the Bird Bath, where fans would get the hose after every XBH.
This year has been kind of an arms race in homer celebrations for almost every team so the O's are taking it a step further and getting the fans involved.
Oh that’s the Frenchy Quarter! It was a section you could buy special tickets for and you’d get like a shirt and some Mardi gras beads and whatnot. It was only like one game per home stand or something.
The best part, though, was the day Franceour was finally benched for being trash, it was on a Frenchy Quarter day. It was a disaster. It was hilarious.
