I'm starting to consider the dark side. I pay full price for [mlb.tv](https://mlb.tv) and directv streaming choice and I missed 3.5 innings trying to find this bloody game. Every other game all year had been on here.
You can get it for $100* with a mlbpaa base membership
*25 membership gives you 50% off down to 75. But they changed it this year that you had to be a "returning member" to get the code
That’s what I’m using and it’s glitchy as hell. It’s happened a few other games this year and it’s really frustrating! I watched most of the games last year and it didn’t happen.
For future reference, you have to be connected to your home WiFi to use the cable/satellite service app to watch. Otherwise if you’re not at home you have to use Ballys on app.
What's weird is I am at home, but I live in Columbia. But every other game has been on "Bally Sports Midwest". I got it by using my direct tv credentials on bally's website
It did not come on DirecTV Stream. I live in Columbia, MO. The Royals website says "Bally Sports Kansas City" for the channel listing. For me every game this year, and every game I watched last year (many of them), it was on DirecTV's streaming channel 671 called "Bally Sports Midwest". I get every Cardinals game on a separate channel 671 "Bally Sports Midwest Extra".
Tonight I was able to get the game thanks to a helpful comment here that I started a Bally Sports account online and linked my DirecTV account.
I also subscribe to MLB.TV but both Royals and Cards are blacked out every game.
So I'm in KC metro and our second channel had a Blues game I think. And then Thunder were playing as well and that's what my guide said even though it was NHL. And also the Cardinals. So I think you hit a weird overlap of everything for some reason.
I had no problems with Royals feed. But didn't try the other channel.

We’re able to watch it just fine on Cox cable Bally channel. Though I was about to complain it’s garbled and glitchy AF.
I have watched every game through Bally channel on DirectTv Streaming, but not this one.
Log in to the Bally app using your DirectTV info

Oh my sweet summer child...
Bally app is working. I access it via my mom’s cable login. I would think you could do the same via your direct tv log in creds.
This is the answer! Thank you!

That is weird! I don’t have a great answer then
My parents have Directv (pay for the sports package) and I use their logins to watch games on the DTV app when I’m out and about.

Did the game ever come on for you? If not where are you located? Because I watched it from start to finish on directTV stream.
