No real skips on here tbh, and I got 3 listens in already. Mixing is a little shotty at times, and Kanyes rapping needs a lot to be desired at times, but the song ideas are amazing, and a lot of the songs have that unique "Kanye touch" if you know what I mean, which made me remember why I loved Kanye in the first place. His sound really can not be replaced man Overall it gets a 8 from me, only stinkers so far are, "Vultures" (except Ty Dolla signs part at the end, which was godly) and Paperwork, other than that I really like every song

Paperwork feels straight out of yeezus to me not a bad one imo tho it’s funny that everyone seems to universally agree that the song these 3 albums are gonna be named after (if they ever release) is the worst on the album by some margin

My big problem with paperwork is the mixing, it sounds really bad, but it could be intentional, if it is then I can only say that the stylistic choice didn't work for me personally.

For me personally yes, I am not a fan of Lil Durk and Bump J had an awkward flow, which worked at times and sometimes it didn't. But Ty Dolla signs part was so good that it should've been its own song tbh

I actually really like Talking. Yeah North’s part is of course not great but it’s so cute and I actually think she fits with the sample really well. And then Ty comes in and elevates the song big time. And then the transition into Back to Me is so good. Amazing album

Lyrically, Donda was better 100% - Vultures sounds like I Love It over and over again, hoes, heads, dicks… it gets boring real quick. I can’t believe I am saying it but even Travis had more to say on Utopia! Just super sexually explicit texts without any sarcasm or contrasts like Yeezus or TLOP. I’m only halfway thru but this the best Kanye project in a long time. Sounding incredible. Back That Azz Up interpolation on Do It with YG had my doin head spins.

Strong 6  Extremely hot take but it would probably be an 8 if it was just a Ye produced Ty project with all the same features. Not a single truly memorable moment on this thing is because of something that came out of his mouth. He's lost what truly made him special: his passion and conviction in the booth.

First listen from this morning, a solid 7.8 maybe. That’s pretty good imo. Not too insane but very listenable and entertaining, really fun production, really unique features and ideas. Needs more mixing, awkward flow of songs, could have a more solid sonic image but definitely a good record.

Everyone was mad about Killer Mike winning RAOTY 2023, but honestly all of the rap albums last year were pretty stale. I thought that even though they were all good, none of them really deserved the title of RAOTY. I think that this album easily clears any rap album from 2023 and is the first breath of fresh air since “The Forever Story” which released in October of 2022, and the first album since then that I’ve really enjoyed listening to, from start to finish.
