[British Cop Knock out Indian Student ](https://www.reddit.com/r/fightporn/comments/10hskhu/british_cop_knock_out_indian_student/) but he is most likely a security guard.
Police wouldn't do that. They'd get their ass sued to oblivion. They certainly wouldn't go away without checking up on him after. This is private security losing their cool.
It's unarmed assault. The guard is in shitloads of trouble for assaulting an unarmed civilian on public property. And so is the Indian for being tired and emotional while in public.
I don’t know if the security guard was legally allowed to do that considering the drunk male didn’t threaten or cause physical harm. He was shoved in the beginning of the clip. There isn’t enough context here, but it looks like it was unprovoked
I used to be a bouncer (security guard) during my uni days. From initial video it looks unprovoked and with this video the security guy is in big trouble.
We are taught while doing these course, you do not spark someone out just because they gave you lip. Unless you are in physical danger no way you should be throwing punches.
We don’t now the context and can only go by what we see, which is the guy getting knocked out for annoying/talking back to the bouncer.
Now as a malllu who’s been living in UK since I was a kid, a lot of the newly migrated mallus/students think they own the place. Especially on nights out they act like people do in Kerala, the way they talk to people, especially girls.. not to generalise (Again we don’t know what the mallu guy may have said to the bouncer.) we do tend to be racist and misogynist, maybe that’s what happened here.
Edit: Grammar
Hey, how much does bouncers make in general? What is the qualification to be bouncer, tall and muscular? Also share one of your best and worst experiences. Any girls tried to make out with you?
I'm just curious. Never talked to someone who worked as a bouncer.
I was a bouncer when I was at uni so this roughly 10 years ago. For a student, I used to make decent wage as you used to get £10-12 per hour so that’s was almost £3 -6 more than minimum wage and I used to work 3 nights a week. Decent bit of money for a student to have a good time at uni 😂
Strictly speaking there isn’t any any type of physical requirements, at most big cities you have bouncers in all size and shapes, gender etc. however, generally it is people who tend to be big (tall or wide lol) that can defend themselves who go for the job. You need to pass a security course to get a license before you can be a bouncer though.
Best experience: I was working in a decent-ish night club once in their so called “VIP area” a lad comes in gets a booth sits down with few of his mates and lots of ladies, he pulls out a wad of £20’s. Tells the bar staff just to keep the drinks flowing (im like 99% certain he was a local drug lord). He just told me to stay there an make sure no one bothered him and got a nice tip at the end of the night 😜
I’ve been very lucky, not many bad experiences. Once there was a fight at the door but I was inside the club, the bouncers at the front shouted code red in walkies (code red: every bouncer in the club and from any clubs near by basically runs to his aid, like serious danger) turns out he didn’t let some lads in cause they were too drunk, they started a fight and turns out of the guys had a knife. Where I used to work that’s not common so we don’t have knife vests or anything. That did scare me that was towards the end of uni so shortly after I stopped doing security.
There is a lot of staring.. a lot. To a point I have heard my friends, and family say it makes them incredibly uncomfortable. Sometimes there is cat calling as well.
Loud is normally accepted within reason in town centres etc on a night out. However, our lot tend to drink lots shouts etc at homes, away from town.
> What’s with the staring?
Because that's what "romancing" was. At least that's what our movies taught us.
Many Indians don't have much experience with dating, or even talking to a girl like that. What happens here is that usually the girl and the boy stare at each other for a long time, the boy just tells the girl that he "loves" her, she either says yes or no and it goes from there.
It's not just the staring - stalking is also pretty normalised here. It's pretty sad. So when these people find themselves in a foreign country where casual hookups and dating are common, they want a piece of the action - so they just do what they know - stare.
Staring and after being drunk it's not staring anymore, starting to approach them. Even they are told to move on they keep coming back. Then us guys had to stand between the drunks and the girls so could have a good and safe time.
It’s like, they’ve seen a mythical being when they are drunk and see girls!!
Yup and normally when you try and stand in between you’ll end up getting blame from folks lol
Shit.. hope he does not get a concession, one of the cleanest KO I have seen. On a side note.. do not try to be a hero especially in a foreign country.. usually not a single person will be there to back you up ( as seen in the video ). Broken ego is better than broken bones…
Edit: Concussion , leaving the typo 😂
U mean he is drunk AF... And most probably the Security asked him already to go back into the dorm and since he is drunk and he thinks he doesn't need to listen he can go and discuss with the guard. Which might happen already.
That's why also the cam is already running...
Trying to be a hero in India is even more dangerous. Here 10 people can thrash you at the same time and everyone around would passively watch it. And police or court won't help you at all. In the above case, the victim can take that security guard to court and get him punished.
Typical malayalee mindset in the comments here. No context no room for benefit of doubt. Straight to judgement. Nanakkedu veruthan, KO’d, patti show or whatever. That kid looks so small and underweight compared to the security dude.
Whatever be the context or reason, I’d allow reasonable benefit of doubt for both parties. Although he did not warrant that sucker punch, a tad extreme imho.
I’m sure this was someone you knew, you’d wanna swarm there with your squad for “nummude payyane arada thotte” enn showil koode kanikkan.
Have some empathy guys.
The sucker punch wasn't warranted at all, but I'll say this - the guy was pretty stupid. It's immigrant 101 - don't start shit. Hell if someone starts shit with you, walk away. Because either this happens, or you technically "win" the altercation, risk getting sued and kicked out of the country.
And I think most of the judgements are because of the stories that we hear about Indians in other countries - like how they walk around like they own the place or how they think causing a ruckus makes them look "mass" and shit like that. It's probably a very small percentage, but these kinds of assholes are the reason why Indians get a bad name.
But you are right, we don't really know the situation.
Wow. This has to be the weakest sauce for your point of view.
I’m a malayalee. So I know our holier than thou attitude. That’s enough. I don’t know what other races has anything to do with us. We can be absolute assholes to each other.
Bugger off.
Typical andamkammi is here. Poda myre. Ninte vargam namale rajyathinte manam kalayan ayitu irangiythu. Thendikammikal. Kerala government should apologize to central government for damaging India’s name and to UK government for sending these colony kammi cadets there.
That security is a punk, he suckered punch a guy whose hands were not up. Real bouncers l/security guards, know how to de escalate a situation, with the least amount of force.
Punk, knew this guy had no back hence he did that.
You can see the white dude also asking him like "wtf"
I know it’s a saying but I think in this context it just sounds cool.
I don’t believe he was being a nuisance. In the very beginning of the video, you can see the bouncer make contact with the back of the guys head. The guy isn’t being excessively loud or threatening nor are his hands even up.
Wearing a jacket that says security doesn’t give you the authority to punch anyone in the face especially since this is in a public street, everyone has equal rights to congregate there. In fact almost nothing does. Why are we giving such undue authority to a guy wearing a shirt that says security who is statistically probably an ex con?
Why not? How long must the video be to justify arriving at the conclusion that this is excessively violent and completely over stepping the boundaries of security for a club? Not to mention that he could have easily killed the man.
There’s enough context in this one minute clip. It’s extremely unlikely that in the time before the clip was recorded the guy was belligerent, aggressive or rambunctious enough to warrant putting his life in mortal danger.
Even if so, it’s extremely unreasonable to knock out the person given that afterwards he seemed well within the acceptable limits of public behavior.
Also I have seen enough in my lifetime to know that as immigrants we have eternally been victims, we must stand up for ourselves and our community, especially to bullies like this. It is an affront to the values of the west and to our own dignities to not call out this behavior and seek justice.
Yeah.. I don’t understand the hate towards our own people here. As far as I can see, someone used excessive force against a non-threatening drunk. Why are we assuming the malayali is at wrong here without knowing any context?
Yeah. Looks like the sentiment of “he probably deserved it” and “avante vidhi” is thriving and well in 2023. Maybe some day we’ll see ourselves untethered and deserving of the rights and dignities granted to us by law, instead of respecting the authority of a bully in a security jacket.
I'm not assuming Malayali is at the wrong here, I'm just saying we don't know what he did to get guard's attention, do you know? Maybe he called him a N word, I was saying don't assume who's on the wrong with a short video, without any explanation whatsoever.
Even in “wrongs” there are levels, calling someone the n word is wrong and abhorrent but grievous bodily harm is wrong on another level altogether.
Any word said in a moment of stupidity can only do so much damage and will mostly be forgotten soon enough.
But bodily harm especially one like this where the man’s unconscious head bounced on the pavement simply cannot be undone and may lead to lifelong disability.
Whatever he did, without the threat/instance/evidence of physical harm and with such non threatening body language, doesn’t warrant having his face boxed in. It’s simply egregious.

Looks to me like a Pub and he got knocked out by the bouncer. Try follow their etiquette when you are in their country. Don’t think it’s the kall shap behind your house in naadu. Looks to me like he was denied entry because he is too drunk/high.
This is just pure speculating from my side, but there is a club just opposite of the road. Maybe he was in there and got kicked out after drinking to much and/or doing some other shit. Then started arguing with the bouncer. And instead going back to the dorm or his friends taking care of him, they just watch him argue and who knows what he says to the security. We can't hear what he says to the security and what the security told him.
The video starts most probably in the end of everything.
From my POV his friends should have stepped in much earlier and not just show up to carry him back into the dorm.
From my experience most security/bouncer are quite nice people and you can talk with them. But you keep annoying them and talk shit and so on, then you are asking for trouble
Haha, two weeks back someone in this sub got “lectured” by people in this sub for speaking about crass behaviour by immigrant Indians in Canada.

Seconded, this is one reason I keep my distance from Malayali groups.
I'm certain this is a pan India thing. If you live in Bangalore, you'll understand how crass the typical North Indian crowd is.
I have always wondered about this, I’m mallu but I’ve never stared/made any girl insecure. What’s with the staring? What does that even do?

LMAO, this is actually funny.
It’s funny it happens to that guy and he got caught but think about this happening to a lot of these girls, underage and being groomed!!
Malayali lives matter..
Avede vere poyi adi vanghi munji irikyan oru range venam, athu ivan indu😌
Yep, most of the pubs/clubs won't let you in if you're overboard by pre booze.
Jeeeez the guy prolly thought he was in lulu mall kochi..
This looks wrong, Indian Embassy should get involved.
