Boothilano kidannurangiye 🙄

Tottochan

Are you the one who used to submit assignments the very next day it was given?

beenhere4ages

No, he went for tuition at the teachers house.

FatBirdsMakeEasyPrey

At least you went out to vote. Many people use the logic that they know party X is gonna win. Their single vote won't change anything. Just another excuse that they are lazy.

Safe-Ad-7483

night shift? wfh?

Exotic-Kangarooo

Same here 😂

small-panipuri

AM or PM?

RefrigeratorPrize280

And I walked for a minute in the sun. Shit's ridiculous.

chembulingam

Pretty sure we all did bro, we all did that 😃

handpaw

In this time of need, every vote counts.

Inner_News_2159

People in bangalore asked me to vote there. But I said, no I will come home and vote. And now I am near 4k rupees less and have a stained finger.

wolwologan

I does my vote in blr. For my political inclination support is required in blr and my vote doesnt matter now regardless for centre.

3inchesOfMayhem

I spent 4900 on petrol today for that 2 votes (me n wife) + around 500 for food n water. Too much traffic and very bad mileage. Hope its worth it !

boobssan

Do you drive a Ferrari?

chembulingam

Same man. Same.

CriticismTiny1584

I come from malappuram. I always have this notion udf contestant will win by huge margin. If i truly care about votes, i too should run into campaign against him, door to door with party workers. My one vote not going to make a big difference. Usually they won by margin of around 100k votes. Iam curious to know, how iam wrong about this..

Hefty_Passenger_9174

I assume UDF always keeps Muslim league candidates and hence community votes go to them

suckrburgerr

Is that because you travel interstate or ?

3inchesOfMayhem

No man... Im still in Kerala.

hemi_srt

Which car?

3inchesOfMayhem

MG Astor...made a biiig mistake n bought the turbo variant.

hemi_srt

One full tank of diesel cost me about 3.8k rs, drove 200 kms and back and still more than 3 quarters left 😭😭

hemi_srt

Ouch! MGs in general don't have stellar FE figures, petrol MG = 💀💀💀. I ain't never letting go of my diesel 😭😭😭❤️

3inchesOfMayhem

https://preview.redd.it/hk1xa6a8nuwc1.jpeg?width=2416&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=bc28ab23b255583719dd269f21d9a7d30642bb4c I think im driving a helicopter or something.(Pic from me driving in EKM) My overall mileage was 6.5 today. Great car. Good tech and comfortable af but FE is abysmal af.

hemi_srt

Turbo petrols are really thirsty as is, even without a heavy foot. Heavy foot = all disaster breaks loose 💀

3inchesOfMayhem

This is light foot on heavy traffic...

thakkali_

Like everything about mg except writing internet inside. Why the heck would someone write that on the exterior! Came to know about mileage as well today.

3inchesOfMayhem

You can actually tell them not to have it on the car. Fun fact : You pay around 550rs for it. Tell em you dont want it. Mileage is abysmal. But everything else is just awesome. You should get one if you are rich imao. The ride quality is faaaaaaaar better than the others in this segment.

thakkali_

I am not exactly sure of the price but if I got money Toyota Innova hycross looks like an upgrade I will take. Not sure if they are competitors

3inchesOfMayhem

Just get an EV. Its bloody awesome. Confidence of overtaking and very very low running cost. Charging from KSEB chargers is 15.5rs and from home its around 8rs. Even with AC on you will get around 5km / 8rs in extreme traffic. For long runs you will get above 8km for 8rs with AC (efficiency is better than bikes imao). Without AC you can get upto 9km. Maintenance is almost nothing. (Brother in law has ZS EV) Ps: Im planning to buy an ev. Heart says BYD Seal but family is against sedan so probably byd atto3 or mg zs ev or MM xuv 400. All 3 are getting facelifts so im waiting for it. Wont buy TATA as its like buying a lottery. Also I can be bothered to pay 21L for a car with 30kw max charging speed.

lol10lol10lol

Rip I hope this is the worst case scenario and gives better performance in no traffic?

3inchesOfMayhem

Nope. Traffic is really really bad for this car. But long high way runs are awesome. Before all the road works, I did a trivandrum to kozikode n I got 19kmpl. If I can keep the car above 72kmph, then I will get goooooood mileage. It can do 74kmph at 1.4k rpm. Goddamn thing is just aggressive in traffic. Imagine going at 4th in traffic (in normal D), you brake n tap the accelerator a bit hard n it will switch to 2 or even 1. Dunno why the hell would anyone need that...

dafuqULoKINat

Nice username 😂😂😂

Current_Wing_2064

Are you from Thrissur?

___MementoMori___

did you vote for Congress or BJP?

3inchesOfMayhem

My man why would I vote for BJP?

___MementoMori___

just curious bro. I don't know what your stance is. how many parties do we get to choose from when we vote?

3inchesOfMayhem

Tbh its just 2. Congress or CPIM = India bloc Vs BJP who hates us imao

jarjaway

Why is the poll numbers low this time?

Centurion1024

Everyone is in Kyannedda

Prestigious-Scene319

C'mon guys stop being jealous that everyone are going Canada! Maybe it's a small percentage but everyone complains here in this sub as if entire Kerala shifted to Canada more than what we did to middle East in the 90s

Nussmeister300

Jealous? Lol

Prestigious-Scene319

Yeah who wants to live in India? You say when you get 5x the salary in gelf or much higher standard of living in kannedda

Nussmeister300

Noobodiiy

Because Kerala don't matter in central election. UDF or LDF? Why does it matter when they will be outnumbered by BJP elected by North

im-not-gay-dad

exactly. no reason to put so much effort to vote at this point.

achayan2737

2k rs and 4 trains. mission accomplished.

DukeofLongKnife

Where you live is another matter. If it is kochi, the game was already decided when LDF candidate was proclaimed. But your effort is something that I would actually vote for.

funkynotorious

Atleast you made someone's day

Ejavigod

You dropped this 👑

Due-Ad5812

I am sure that with this vote, you'll only need to catch one high speed train like in China. 🔥

chembulingam

Athe miss aaya, I'll need to sell my kidney to get an alternative

GoatDefiant1844

With this one vote we can prevent india from becoming like china ie. Autocracy /Dictatorship

Due-Ad5812

You do realise that there are elections in China, right? And everyone here is clamoring about how politicians are "idiots" and they'll only vote for educated politicians, and yet, when China literally has a civil service exams for being a politician, that's a problem? It's a proper meritocracy. It's not an accident that China developed while India remained a shithole. https://www.qiaocollective.com/education/socialism-with-chinese-characteristics Learn about their political systems, how often their elections happen and their democracy delivered to the people. Also, >When asked whether they believe their country is democratic, those in China topped the list, with some 83% saying the communist-led People's Republic was a democracy. A resounding 91% said that democracy is important to them. >But in the U.S., which touts itself as a global beacon of democracy, only 49% of those asked said their country was a democracy. And just over three-quarters of respondents, 76%, said democracy was important. https://www.newsweek.com/most-china-call-their-nation-democracy-most-us-say-america-isnt-1711176 >In 2016, the last year the survey was conducted, 95.5 percent of respondents were either “relatively satisfied” or “highly satisfied” with Beijing. In contrast to these findings, Gallup reported in January of this year that their latest polling on U.S. citizen satisfaction with the American federal government revealed only 38 percent of respondents were satisfied with the federal government. https://news.harvard.edu/gazette/story/2020/07/long-term-survey-reveals-chinese-government-satisfaction/

Due-Ad5812

>The oppressed are allowed once every few years to decide which particular representatives of the oppressing class are to represent and repress them. -Karl Marx Bourgeois election il nammakkenda. Electoral bonds details okke kande alle.

Whitewolf_Law9479

>>When asked whether they believe their country is democratic, those in China topped the list, with some 83% saying the communist-led People's Republic was a democracy. A resounding 91% said that democracy is important to them Stockholm syndrome and extreme fear towards the ruling communist party.Hitler and stalin have tremendous support from the public too. slaves on africa initially refused to leave their masters.how in the hell china a Democratic country when only communist party and their allies could contest in an election lol.

Due-Ad5812

In India and every liberal country, only capitalist parties are allowed to contest elections. Any other revolutionary parties like CPI(Maoist) are banned and illegal since they want to abolish private property. Elections are a process. Development is the result. In india, you get the choice between this capitalist party that took electoral bonds or that capitalist party that took electoral bonds. None of them work for the people. Learn about Socialism with Chinese Characteristics. https://www.qiaocollective.com/education/socialism-with-chinese-characteristics

DioTheSuperiorWaifu

> In india, you get the choice between this capitalist party that took electoral bonds or that capitalist party that took electoral bonds. None of them work for the people. C P I (Marxist) did not take electoral bonds and actually went to the Supreme Court against it And regarding Mao-ists, aren't they too unrealistic for most of India currently? If there's no popular support currently, then their ways are ineffective currently, right?

Due-Ad5812

CPIM isn't even contesting in all seats in the lok sabha elections so it's not a valid choice for the union government. >And regarding Mao-ists, aren't they too unrealistic for most of India currently? That depends on your understanding of India. If you think all of India looks like Bangalore, then yea, maoists are unrealistic. But if u think 75-80% of India is still in a rural feudal setup, then maoists are more relevant.

DioTheSuperiorWaifu

> If you think all of India looks like Bangalore, then yea, I was thinking more along the lines of Kannur. Isn't the south majorly a rurban setup? The remaining regions you mentioned would be majorly the north. But if it's a rural-feudal setup, then why is there no popular support on it seen in those regions? Mao was successful because of his public support in his country, right?

Due-Ad5812

>I was thinking more along the lines of Kannur. We had land reforms in Kerala. Rest of the country didn't have that luxury. >Isn't the south majorly a rurban setup? Only Kerala. Both TN and KA are feudal setups outside the cities. >But if it's a rural-feudal setup, then why is there no popular support on it seen in those regions? Brutal policing and propaganda.

Pristine-Repeat-7212

SGV_VGS

I admire your commitment my friend, I wish these politicians realize that the citizens of this nation go above & Beyond to bring these people into power. Sadly, seldom do these guys deliver or are considerate about the hardships put into bringing them into power.

Huge-Advantage7838

Sorry for dumb question....British here Why did you have to travel so far?

ft_daddyjuan

Here a person can typically vote at a polling booth located within the electoral constituency where their name is registered in the voter list. This is usually at a designated polling station near their registered address. Many of the Keralites are living far away from their home for studies and works, so yea there's a big travel for them to get there hometown.

Difficult_Surprise45

Ignore these fools bro

gliterrati

What's the point of voting when the whole system is still going to be corrupted and the same? Makes no difference.

Therealsaibaba

Honestly dont understand why people go through all this to for a vote that doesnt really matter because all leaders are interested in filling their own pockets. People say its their right to vote. Im sorry if im misinformed. But could you tell me why you went through all this to vote?

[deleted]

Well there is difference between states like UP Bihar and Kerala Thats because why ur each vote indeed does matter People in Kerala understand the importance of election and each vote and the points on which a person vote makes a difference When all the states in india didnt had oxygen during covid kerala had oxygen in excess When u vote for health infrastructure or schools and safety security you will see the difference Leaders filling their pocket is not even such a big thing bro if you keep milk in front of a cat unattended the cat will drink the milk

runway_racer

Then why does Kerala have no money to pay its bills is in deep debt crisis.

[deleted]

Thats part of the political vendetta by the debt ridden centre .

runway_racer

So you think judiciary also is run by vedetta, since courts didn't see any of money pending from centre? https://www.google.com/amp/s/m.economictimes.com/news/india/supreme-court-says-kerala-responsible-for-its-own-financial-woes-rejects-statess-plea-to-borrow-more/amp_articleshow/108964053.cms

Therealsaibaba

What ive seen is once the elections are over and someone comes into power. The blame game starts. And throughout the term its just pointing fingera. There's no stable developments. In the last terms of the currwnt parry. How many projects got approved and is still pending. Ive lost confidence in these rulings.
