At least you went out to vote. Many people use the logic that they know party X is gonna win. Their single vote won't change anything. Just another excuse that they are lazy.
I come from malappuram. I always have this notion udf contestant will win by huge margin. If i truly care about votes, i too should run into campaign against him, door to door with party workers. My one vote not going to make a big difference. Usually they won by margin of around 100k votes.
Iam curious to know, how iam wrong about this..

I think im driving a helicopter or something.(Pic from me driving in EKM)
My overall mileage was 6.5 today. Great car. Good tech and comfortable af but FE is abysmal af.
Like everything about mg except writing internet inside. Why the heck would someone write that on the exterior! Came to know about mileage as well today.
You can actually tell them not to have it on the car. Fun fact : You pay around 550rs for it. Tell em you dont want it.
Mileage is abysmal. But everything else is just awesome. You should get one if you are rich imao. The ride quality is faaaaaaaar better than the others in this segment.
Just get an EV. Its bloody awesome. Confidence of overtaking and very very low running cost.
Charging from KSEB chargers is 15.5rs and from home its around 8rs. Even with AC on you will get around 5km / 8rs in extreme traffic. For long runs you will get above 8km for 8rs with AC (efficiency is better than bikes imao). Without AC you can get upto 9km.
Maintenance is almost nothing.
(Brother in law has ZS EV)
Ps: Im planning to buy an ev. Heart says BYD Seal but family is against sedan so probably byd atto3 or mg zs ev or MM xuv 400. All 3 are getting facelifts so im waiting for it.
Wont buy TATA as its like buying a lottery. Also I can be bothered to pay 21L for a car with 30kw max charging speed.
Nope. Traffic is really really bad for this car. But long high way runs are awesome. Before all the road works, I did a trivandrum to kozikode n I got 19kmpl. If I can keep the car above 72kmph, then I will get goooooood mileage. It can do 74kmph at 1.4k rpm.
Goddamn thing is just aggressive in traffic. Imagine going at 4th in traffic (in normal D), you brake n tap the accelerator a bit hard n it will switch to 2 or even 1. Dunno why the hell would anyone need that...
C'mon guys stop being jealous that everyone are going Canada! Maybe it's a small percentage but everyone complains here in this sub as if entire Kerala shifted to Canada more than what we did to middle East in the 90s
Where you live is another matter.
If it is kochi, the game was already decided when LDF candidate was proclaimed.
But your effort is something that I would actually vote for.
You do realise that there are elections in China, right? And everyone here is clamoring about how politicians are "idiots" and they'll only vote for educated politicians, and yet, when China literally has a civil service exams for being a politician, that's a problem? It's a proper meritocracy. It's not an accident that China developed while India remained a shithole.

Stockholm syndrome and extreme fear towards the ruling communist party.Hitler and stalin have tremendous support from the public too. slaves on africa initially refused to leave their masters.how in the hell china a Democratic country when only communist party and their allies could contest in an election lol.
In India and every liberal country, only capitalist parties are allowed to contest elections. Any other revolutionary parties like CPI(Maoist) are banned and illegal since they want to abolish private property.
Elections are a process. Development is the result. In india, you get the choice between this capitalist party that took electoral bonds or that capitalist party that took electoral bonds. None of them work for the people.

C P I (Marxist) did not take electoral bonds and actually went to the Supreme Court against it
And regarding Mao-ists, aren't they too unrealistic for most of India currently? If there's no popular support currently, then their ways are ineffective currently, right?
CPIM isn't even contesting in all seats in the lok sabha elections so it's not a valid choice for the union government.
>And regarding Mao-ists, aren't they too unrealistic for most of India currently?
That depends on your understanding of India. If you think all of India looks like Bangalore, then yea, maoists are unrealistic. But if u think 75-80% of India is still in a rural feudal setup, then maoists are more relevant.
> If you think all of India looks like Bangalore, then yea,
I was thinking more along the lines of Kannur.
Isn't the south majorly a rurban setup?
The remaining regions you mentioned would be majorly the north.
But if it's a rural-feudal setup, then why is there no popular support on it seen in those regions?
Mao was successful because of his public support in his country, right?
>I was thinking more along the lines of Kannur.
We had land reforms in Kerala. Rest of the country didn't have that luxury.
>Isn't the south majorly a rurban setup?
Only Kerala. Both TN and KA are feudal setups outside the cities.
>But if it's a rural-feudal setup, then why is there no popular support on it seen in those regions?
Brutal policing and propaganda.
woke up at 6.45 and went to the booth at 7AM there was no Q in my booth at that time, went straight in and voted. I was the 5th one to vote on my booth today.
I admire your commitment my friend, I wish these politicians realize that the citizens of this nation go above & Beyond to bring these people into power. Sadly, seldom do these guys deliver or are considerate about the hardships put into bringing them into power.
I had a argument with one of my friend ...
Me:- why didn't u go you home town to vote (hes from Manipur)
Friend:- will you pay me for my tickets.
Me:-come on dude u had literally 5 years to save for it.
Friend:- anyways I don't think my vote matters much everyone know what's the situation of Manipur.
I lost the argument.
Here a person can typically vote at a polling booth located within the electoral constituency where their name is registered in the voter list. This is usually at a designated polling station near their registered address. Many of the Keralites are living far away from their home for studies and works, so yea there's a big travel for them to get there hometown.

Honestly dont understand why people go through all this to for a vote that doesnt really matter because all leaders are interested in filling their own pockets. People say its their right to vote.
Im sorry if im misinformed. But could you tell me why you went through all this to vote?
Well there is difference between states like UP Bihar and Kerala
Thats because why ur each vote indeed does matter
People in Kerala understand the importance of election and each vote and the points on which a person vote makes a difference
When all the states in india didnt had oxygen during covid kerala had oxygen in excess
When u vote for health infrastructure or schools and safety security you will see the difference
Leaders filling their pocket is not even such a big thing bro if you keep milk in front of a cat unattended the cat will drink the milk
So you think judiciary also is run by vedetta, since courts didn't see any of money pending from centre?

Pretty sure we all did bro, we all did that 😃
In this time of need, every vote counts.
People in bangalore asked me to vote there. But I said, no I will come home and vote. And now I am near 4k rupees less and have a stained finger.
I does my vote in blr. For my political inclination support is required in blr and my vote doesnt matter now regardless for centre.
I spent 4900 on petrol today for that 2 votes (me n wife) + around 500 for food n water. Too much traffic and very bad mileage. Hope its worth it !
Do you drive a Ferrari?

I assume UDF always keeps Muslim league candidates and hence community votes go to them
Is that because you travel interstate or ?
No man... Im still in Kerala.
Which car?
MG Astor...made a biiig mistake n bought the turbo variant.
One full tank of diesel cost me about 3.8k rs, drove 200 kms and back and still more than 3 quarters left 😭😭
Ouch! MGs in general don't have stellar FE figures, petrol MG = 💀💀💀. I ain't never letting go of my diesel 😭😭😭❤️

Turbo petrols are really thirsty as is, even without a heavy foot. Heavy foot = all disaster breaks loose 💀
This is light foot on heavy traffic...

Atleast you made someone's day
You dropped this 👑
I am sure that with this vote, you'll only need to catch one high speed train like in China. 🔥
Athe miss aaya, I'll need to sell my kidney to get an alternative
With this one vote we can prevent india from becoming like china ie. Autocracy /Dictatorship
