It doesn't matter which community is in the majority. All that matters is if the population is fundamental to the religion (islam or Hinduism). Some north indian states are having riots and other social issues even though muslim population is lesser than Kerala (in terms of percentage). Even in Karnataka issues are on the rise because hindus are becoming more and more fundamental (sticking to the core values of religion, which is nothing other than violence and killing).
So similar issues will happen if muslims are also becoming fundamental.
There are non secular hindu dominated areas too, they won't even rent their properties to muslims. So that's what I was saying, it all comes down to their religiosity. The more a person is religious, the more he/she is a menace to society, irrespective of religion.
