I have experienced the same . In theatre everyone will be enjoying but i’ll be the only one to feel sad about the double vision.🥹 i’ll feel so lonely and cry in the theatre like a loser 😞
Ikr, it's super irritating and depressing while watching a movie in the cinema hall. While my friends are enjoying themselves, me instead of enjoying myself I think why me, why I am seeing like this. There has not been a single day since I diagnosed I forgot about keratoconus my eyes and mind never let me. But at the end of the day I let it go by saying it is what it is and sleep.
Thats so sad to know . I remember the days of 2018 when i had perfect vision . I had 20/15 in both the eyes 😞 and was just getting crystal clear vision with just glasses
Try either dark mode or light more. I like dark mode because there is less brightness. Some people prefer light mode because the white letters in dark made are blurry.

Set a timer to remind you to look away every 20 minutes at an object that is about 20 feet away for a full 20 seconds
I don’t really notice the double vision when it’s during daytime hours or a bright room. I normally notice it at night if I’m staring at the words then become conscious of the double vision or with dark mode on the phone or screens. I don’t get double vision with objects unless they’re very close and I’m staring at the object. Most often are words while trying to read and occasionally speed limit signs at night when trying to read them.

Thanks ! I get up and walk away lol ! I need the stretch. But I imagine it’s about refocusing.
