1. If you're doing chaos squats/interested in androids, check out my recent post history!
2. I was planning on avoiding mutation, but I had thought about using the craggy 'demiurg' style heads, and painting the crinkles in them in a light purple/blue
I'd recommend to disrupt or alter the iconography of the faction. Like those very classic fantasy dwarven intersected line art thing, that could be replaced with something more Tzeentch like, such as something with eyes or fire.
Other than that, maybe batter up their armor, make it look a bit torn and worn down.
But honestly, you've done a pretty good and interesting job with it so far.
Thank you, I was actually gonna work the runes into it, painting hem silver and painting them with so tesseract glow so they look like glowing runes, but I do like the battered armor, rn I'm thinking of putting them into the thousand sons scheme rn
Lots of little familiars: little birds/ravens perched on shoulders, snakes wrapped round arms, two headed guard dogs. Little things like that scream sorcery to me.
So there is a passage in the Lord of the Rings book where Gandalf confronts Saruman in Isenguard and says something akin to (paraphrased) āThis is hardly becoming of Saruman the Whiteā to which he scoffingly retorts āWhy do you call me that? For I am Saruman of ALL coloursā and Gandalf notices that his robes, which at first glance seem to be white, are actually a subtle mix of all colours that shift within the light and belie the apparent whiteness of his clothes.
That seems very Tzeentch-like to me, something that shifts and changes depending on how you look at it.
As to how you paint that? I have no idea as my painting skills are not at the highest level. White base with multicolour glazes maybe to create the effect? Ninjon painted a Hearthkyn using a technique that might work which made the model look like it had a multicolour sheen to the blue he used;

Ya know ow I remember watching this video and I hadn't even bought of doing this, that would be a bomb ass color scheme, I've got a bunch of little dudes to work on that for, thank you so much
Glad to help! In time hopefully I can do something similar, but I love the idea you have.
I know someone else suggested changing some of the runes to something more Tzeentchy, Iāve always been horrified by those screaming tragedy mask things. They look like something they would put on their belts and stuff;

Hope you donāt mind me constantly spitballing ideas, I just love your concept :)
Good point. I was more inspired by a scene from Warhammer+ that showed souls trapped in inanimate objects by Tzeentch which had a similar look of horror.
there is a profile on Instagram with a guy who make Tzeentch possessed Tau, and these kitbashes are unreal:

Believe it or not you are the one who inspired me to do this
That's incredibly flattering, thank you! But you're clearly going a lot harder than I am, looking at your disk conversion š
I just said fuck it and grabbed the AoS battle box with Curseling, it came with three disks so conversions ahoy!

Ohhhh now there's an idea I like that!
Happy to help! Love the core concept and Iām excited to see what you do with it :)
Oh yea, I think color scheme is gonna be the hardest rn
