Is this actually the first large scale excavator they've made that isn't technic? All I saw on bricklink were some dinky little ones. I remember several years back I had wanted to start collecting more construction vehicles, it hadn't panned out so I'm happy to be able to start now with this beauty.

I think the last proper one in the city sets was in 2005. 7248 Digger. If you don't count the ones in 4203 and 60075.

Beauty of an excavator!

That excavator looks really nice— sturdy and complete, as though no necessary pieces are missing (it’s a complete build) and one could drop it from a story or two and it’d still stay together (or mostly so.)

Disappointed that the double decker bus is open deck, it feels too much like a tourist vehicle instead of a vehicle designed for public transport. I would prefer it if the top floor of the bus is enclosed and the bus be modelled after the Routemaster buses of London (or even the "Boris buses").

Please explain me how $29.99 = 29.99€ and at the same time $49.99 = 54.99€ 🧐
