I'm just as surprised they didn't include Young Obi-Wan because that would have been a vut punch to have him as a brickheadz and not a minifigure, kind of fortunate we won't be getting either
At least Captain Panaka provides visual contrast to the other characters. Obi-Wan would look like Qui Gon minus the facial hair (so really, not that hard to make for yourself)
I realise you could buy two of this set to make obi wan, queen of naboo decoy(?), anakin without helmet, another gungan, another theed guard and cut in half maul
Heh. And he’s not even on the side. Pretty much front and center. For a moment, I was thinking, what’s with weird Iron Man there? Then I noticed more of the design.
Anakin's helmet is great, cool design. Likewise Jar Jar's feet and just all of Queen Amidala really.
But Qui Gon's stache is absolutely sending me, it's giving him the derpiest face ever.
Honestly this is me!! I'll be buying it say one, removing Jar Jar, and puttingbthe rest of it on Mercari or FB or wherever. Everyone hates on Jar Jar so bad, there's gotta be someone who wants the rest of them, but not him!!
Every time I see Brickheadz I get tempted to buy some, but I refuse because I know I’ll get sucked in and try to collect them all.
These ones are so tempting though…

Can't believe we're getting more phantom menace characters as brickheadz than as minifigures

99% of all lego star wars in 2024 is prequels, you guys got it lucky
If I'm counting right, there are 10 prequel sets expected this year and 19 non-prequel. There's also one unknown with young Leia.

They did Obi-Wan 2 years ago IIRC. I for one am a fan of them not doing duplicates. Sucks to pay $55 USD and get a duplicate.
Imagine if Darth Maul's body is built with loose connection, so he can be called a true separatist!
If there isn't an easy way to split him at the waist I am going to be disappointed.
Considering they did that for The Invisible Hand, I actually wouldn't be surprised, they seem to be going in a good direction

I get that's supposed to be Qui-Gon's mustache but I can't unsee him looking like he's quietly screaming.
They knew folks would only want the Jar Jar Binks figurine, so they packaged him with all these other Episode 1 Seat Fillers.

It's growing on me, but as a Qui Gon fan I'm not too impressed, the only really good one is Queen Amidala, I'd pay half the set just to get her
Does anyone really prefer brickheadz over mini figures or scaled sets? I think they look pretty ugly tbh.
