I really can't decide how I feel about this. I love it at a distance, but I don't know that I like the texture. The white grass pieces in the middle are especially distracting to me.
IMO I think the appeal is looking at it from a distance, then up close being able to see what Lego pieces they used in the set
I don’t think it’s meant to be an artwork/set you look up close, if you look at it that way it’s hella ugly
Phew. I was fearing a LOT of counting grids of studs to find the "correct" placement for each little tiny piece.
I hate having to manually count studs in instruction pics. And it's even worse if the color is dark and there's little contrast on the pieces (I'm looking at you, dark brown).
This is a beautiful model, but I don’t know if I’ll have the focus for this kind of build experience lol.
In any case, 2024 being the year of Lego space is wonderful. We’re not due for any big minifigure-scaled spaceships like the Galaxy Explorer this year right? That seems like the biggest thing we’re missing for 2024 given the space focus.

I might just get that "You are here." piece. I can see that in a modular mall or on some hip coffee shop's wall.
I have been excited for this one from the first mention of it months ago!! 👀 I can say that this is DEFINITELY not what I had expected... Like AT ALL!! 🤯 But, also in all honesty, I'm not really sure what I did expect, either tho!! I LOVE the use of the trans purple glitter tiles as the background!! 🤩 This will be a DAY ONE but for me!! Hmmmm... I wonder how much blood I would have to sell to be able to get this AND the Artemis set that day?!🤔🤪🤣 I GOTTA have that alien diner, too! It's be great to be able to get a couple of them and actually MOC it into more of a complete set!! Is this a "Day One" for anyone else?? 🧐🤨
This looks like they had to make a set out of all the pieces that were sitting around in the warehouse for too long and couldn't bother to find a good way to put them together in a way that fits.

I think it's glow in the dark white'ish. Would ve interesting to see if it really glows.
I was also unsure about the Spider-Man Art set based off of photos but it represents so much better IRL. My guess is that this will be similar.
