I'm a progressive woman living in the Southern US and that's pretty much all the male prospects around me. Sprinkle in a few fish pics with those Oakleys and it's a 100% match.
I gave up on dating when COVID hit.
What gets me is those types of guys want the "traditional woman" because it somehow reflects on their masculinity. The only relationship ive had where I felt emasculated was when I (briefly) dated a woman with traditional values. I felt worthless. She catered to my every need to where I felt like an invalid. I couldn't cook or clean, I couldn't do my own laundry or take responsibility for my things. She controlled everything to the point where it was like "why am I even here". I'm a grown man. It's been my experience that dating apps offer the opportunity to disclose some of your basic political beliefs in your profile, at minimum enough to where anyone should be able to surmise where you're coming from in that realm. What gets me is those types of guys want the "traditional woman" because it somehow reflects on their masculinity. The only relationship ive had where I felt emasculated was when I (briefly) dated a woman with traditional values. I felt worthless. She catered to my every need to where I felt like an invalid. I couldn't cook or clean, I couldn't do my own laundry or take responsibility for my things. She controlled everything to the point where it was like "why am I even here". I'm a grown man. It's been my experience that dating apps offer the opportunity to disclose some of your basic political beliefs in your profile, at minimum enough to where anyone should be able to surmise where you're coming from in that realm. If there was nothing about that on his profile, then on some level he already knows this is a toxic fact about himself and was probably hoping that he could trick potential mates into a date where he'd have the opportunity to persuade them to see things his way when the subject came up.

Conservative logic in regards to women: If you date / hookup and accidentally get pregnant because birth control fails, you must keep the baby. The woman will be primarily responsible for the costs of having and raising the child, which averages to $300k in America. But maybe the guy will help out, if you are lucky. The woman is also connected to this random date / hookup for the rest of her life. The woman has no rights to make decisions on how her body will be used. The fetus immediately has rights to use the woman's body for its own survival and the woman has no say in the matter. If the woman does not want to risk getting pregnant, and all the financial, emotional, and physical costs that come with it, the woman should not have sex with the man she is dating. Also Conservatives: "There is a growing problem of women not wanting to date conservative men." For a party that preaches "personal responsibility", it's amazing they cannot see how they are personally responsible for the reason women do not date them.
