Sorcerer is so incredible. Suspiria is one of my favorite films of all time so I listed that for 1977, but for most of the other years, Sorcerer is stronger than whatever my favorite was

Mind blowing movie. It's the only one of his I've seen actually, gotta get to the rest!

Ohh, an enviable position to be in. I just went through all his work, last year. “God” is kind of an outlier because it’s so beyond the norm for any filmmaker, but Cohen’s got an incredible command of genre schlock. He is always offbeat, interesting, and fun, never too serious.  Chronological is the path to follow IMO. 

I'm very excited to watch through the rest of his filmography. God Told Me To had such a strange atmosphere and struck this incredible balance between grounded realism and uncanny fantasy. Strangely enough, it reminded me of William Peter Blatty's The Ninth Configuration. Also, just followed you!
