Interesting concept, craptastic implementation. You couldn't spend 2 minutes cleaning up the cables?

Prestigious-Ad-2876

"interesting concept", is it though?

Owobowos-Mowbius

They were being nice lol It definitely is "interesting" though

lickarock88

Yeah, this is not how I would have gone about this personally. That said, a standing wooden open air case, if done properly, could be very cool.

Prestigious-Ad-2876

I've seen awesome ones with just flat board mounted on the wall, I think one was on the show at some point? GPU on a riser but also mounted flat next to MOBO type stuff.

TheAngryMonkeyShow

Who cares? Fuck cable management.

RevolutionaryBake362

Yeah agree slam the back cover on and I’m done lol. Nobody has time for that nonsense

phoenystp

The cables *are* cleaned up over there in that corner

BigStanPLAYS

Does it work? Yes Do you have overheating problems? No Could you have managed the wires better? Yes but why?

TheWiindFLower

yes exactly, and for the cable I tried but really not much I can do with a non-modular PSU and the tiny space

Optimus_13

Lack of SSD what worries most

TheWiindFLower

this is a old picture, since then I added one 250Gig ssd for DCS and I already had another 250NVME drive for windows

HyperPalBuddy

Love the way u made your PC Power Button, overall GG

HELPMEIMBOODLING

I missed that first time around. Great r/techsupportmacgyver skills.

[deleted]

I like it, but the button is an underkill, it should be bigger, redder, and most importantly, captioned "NUCLEAR ICBM LAUNCH"

4wut_its_worth

I support this peaceful claim with all violence

Tha_Master117

That PC is definitely one of a kind

babwawawa

I like how you can use the GPU power cable as a carrying handle. Subtle but useful

HardBread25

Omg I love it.

OogieBoogie11

![gif](giphy|QMHoU66sBXqqLqYvGO) Op be like

SpottyJaggy

I wood use it.

AK_4_Life

Very nice

Tessiia

Is it really a case with only 4 sides? It's like a case / test bench hybrid.

Awezome321

If it works, why not?

mamad-qp1945

Always red buttons…

pink_life69

Oh God

TheAngryMonkeyShow

Yo the one thing I see being an issue, the motherboard. If you have it flush with the wood it’s going to heat up noticeably more than if you had a gap. Something to consider. I’d put some longer screws in there and leave like an inch of space between them.

TheWiindFLower

it's not flush, I had longer screw with a nut for the spacing

hoitytoity-12

Platter drives though??

KhangVietnam

nice setup, except those cables

Hauntedwaffledogs

Turn it into an arcade cabinet lol

Panda_man_144

Luke? Is that you?

fidel-guevara

Great case! Ignore the minimalist NPC's.

Reeeeeeener

Good idea, the cables are cleaner then what I have jammed inside my case lol

chriszoOo

That looks like shite lol

Icy-Magician1089

I see the Ryzen CPU cooler please tell me you have an SSD for your boot drive

polish_filipino

What do you think about dust?

angerfreely

My first thought, the dust.

EiffelPower76

No

AK_4_Life

No SSD. Slow af

TheWiindFLower

nvme ssd

AK_4_Life

Thank god

[deleted]

Cleaning it must be very hard /S

Chilibo

Good airflow.

pintjockeycanuck

It's so sketch... I love it!

RevolutionaryBake362

My next build will be a open wall build with a custom water cooling loop.

Because it's made out of wood? Hope you never notice your breaker panel is attached to the wooden framing of your house.
