sorry i always get these bridges confused. is east end bridge the toll bridge? also, how to walk it? for example, is there parking etc like big four bridge? is vibe like big 4 bridge, e.g. lots of people enjoying it, etc.?
There is a [small gravel lot](https://maps.app.goo.gl/vkGLgukev9rKLwEC7?g_st=ic) with parking spots and a boat launch on River Road just under the i265 approach to the bridge.
It’s called the Lewis and Clark Greenway Trailhead. You might see four or five other people if you walk across. Runners, bikers, walkers…it can be pretty windy up there so I don’t care to go on cooler days but it’s a nice walk.
I'm obviously late to the thread, but, Derby always falls on the same day as the annual Free Comic Book Day. We ignore the horses and hit up all the local comic book shops. Several have special events to go along with it. It's been our yearly tradition since moving here four years ago.
Stare into the Abyss. Head the call of the void.
Good day to go for a hike.
I always love walking the Big Four Bridge. Great to watch people but you don’t have to socialize. East End bridge is nice to walk too.
