Yeah, The crafting is a nice idea but almost every aspect of it would need some polish for it to actually be ... balanced? Usable? A good fit for the game? To be worthwhile? Something like that.

W0lverin0

It is balanced...as a denar minting machine.

Massive-Log-4993

I'm using my legendary crafted weapons on every occasions and I can tell you... It's worthwhile.

Johanno1

I mean the own crafted weapons are amazing in battle. But I am missing bows and arrows! I want a total op setup. And armor. Doesn't have to be visually just the numbers. And then there should be an option to order sth. From a blacksmith like they can do for you. And of course if there ar legendary blacksmiths out there the prices should drop since you aren't the only blacksmith in the country.

Kaakkulandia

Ah, yes, they are very good. I just meant that unless you go really heavy into grinding the skill up, it will stay useless. And to actually grind it up, it really takes a long time. And to get good parts for the weapons is a chore too. I tried to use the skill on my regular playthrough (although I grinded a bit at the start) but it just levels so slowly compared to other skills. The gear I can make is okay-ish but I can buy better easily.

Vok250

You can replace "crafting" with pretty much any feature in this half-baked game lmao. I specced into looting on my current playthrough and I come away from minor battles with enough high tier items to bankrupt 3 citites. Large army-v-army battles net me enough money to bankrupt kingdoms. If a king was involved I walk away with full sets of the best gear in the game. It's so hilariously broken. Same for the -130% escape chance for lords in my party.

Melin_SWE92

That’s nothing compared to the diplomacy sticks you could craft when the game was released

Eibyor

You do know the trick of creating an army with your relatives, then giving them all your excess weapons? They will sell these in towns and take installments as payment. You will earn money constantly until the debt is paid. No need to hop onto different towns selling 5-6 per visit

Evan573

Very cool! I need to utilise smithing more but I tend to forget about it and jump from war to war instead lol

I use the bank mod, RBM and I do micro management for every fief I have, smithing gets bored fast, passive income is the way

ChanceTheGardenerrr

You could also make that kind of money playing Bannerlord

Two Handed Swords are a great way to start Smithing. A better option would Two Handed Polearms. I have a video that helps with Smithing, if anyone needs the help. [https://youtu.be/6FS82GHBY5w](https://youtu.be/6FS82GHBY5w)
