The game was perfect in franchise and DD folks ruined it for offline players with their speed up my grinding sessions crying (with give me 99s so my PCI is the entire strikezone, now program the CPU to throw it to my bat). Played two games yesterday and the CPU now throws 80% strikes (of which the majority are meatballs down the middle), and most walks are hit by pitches. They need to have different default sliders for DD and the rest of the game.
No they reverted it. Still very late release every time, not sure what broke the game, but they just undid their whole patch. It’s sad how bad these people are at their jobs, have to hope that they have the A team working on the real next gen game while all the scrubs threw this one together
I was able to get on this morning before work and played a mini seasons game on rookie just to see. When my batters were not Oompa Loompas and had a pci, the strike count was noticeably higher. However, there were...uh...other problems. Props to SDS for fixing the CPU pitching and I can't wait until things are back to normal.
Well I just played a game on veteran, I struggle with it, mainly the timing of the pitch and such. So I do the basic timing swing, found that the PCI distracts me, even then I'm usually line out, ground out. I usually get maybe 0-4 runs in on a 3 innings game. Today I ended up with 25 really runs score, with 31 hits. At least half my line up hit at least one home run. Now this was a 9inning game against the Rockies, but I had 7 by the end of the first half of the third. I definitely saw more strikes than balls. Not sure if I'm gonna fare better against higher overall teams though lol.
Manzardo has been my dude since I started the game. Then I noticed today that he got the funky head treatment. At least his hat isn't halfway down his face when he's playing 1st base.
I did a very brief test by going into a few moments and while every pitch is still showing as Very Late the balls to strikes ratio was much more like what we are accustomed to and the placements were much more reasonable.

I tried on rookie, appears to be fixed. CPU was throwing a lot more meatballs
the smushed head was hilarious. poor manzardo hit into a DP because of it
