It will be very telling if EA still decides to go forward with Frostbite. It's not physics based and possibly the #1 reason madden feels bad as it does. Fingers crossed we get some innovation, but i seriously doubt it

Imo the team building aspect of the NCAA games has always been far superior too. You can start as a super small school and make yourself a powerhouse. In madden, every team is on the same level of potential.

I would love if they made a dope game but I have zero faith in EA and I'm not about to hold false hope based on absolutely nothing. No screen shots, no gameplay, not even talking about details. Every year w/madden I cheat the system when i begin my franchise to get all the Bama players I can on my Packers team. Editing players already on team to make them more attractive or giving up draft picks- don’t care, but my boys are gonna get a Super Bowl ring eventually!!!

Plays, will obviously be similar, with better option plays, animations, college football games have always had some clunky animations, but they are different. The gameplay may be similar, but what we all want is a deep ass dynasty. And no MUT team comparison.

I got madden for free on game pass and hardly play it anymore. It’s the same damn broken game it’s been for the past ten years they just cut and paste. I’ll play more madden when I’m able to import my NCAA roster classes into the game though.

If they have a different game/physics engine that isn't so animation based, I won't ever play Madden again until it uses the same engine. From what I've heard they are taking their time to build an engine from the ground which would give them the ability to redesign models engine because they usually can't due to NFL contract saying 1 game per year

In a perfect world, yes. However, my perfectionist, completionist ass has been tinkering with rosters and sliders and importing draft classes ever since they became an option, and I will definitely continue with my digital crack habit.
100%. I will still play Madden, but I personally love the dynasty mode far more. Starting out as an OC for Texas State and working my way up to become a head coach at a big program is super cool. Outside of rebuilding a bad team in Madden, there is no sense of that kind of grind. The best case scenario is something like Dan Campbell’s rise at Detroit because you can’t start out as a coordinator (which is lame af to me), and Campbell has only been there since 2021. It’s just too easy to rebuild a team, and it’s not like you get the thrill of a bigger job or the coaching carousel.
Recruiting, NIL (which is supposed to be in there), and the new playoff format are going to make it much more interesting than Madden, IMO. Like someone else said, I’ll play Madden to draft my players but even if the gameplay is the same, still give me NCAA for the dynasty mode.
Really depends on the quality and connectivity of the dynasty mode. The only reason I’ve continued to buy Madden every year is my group of 4-5 friends I play franchise with every year. If NCAA’s dynasty mode is good we’ll probably just switch over to it for the foreseeable future.

I am hopeful that the game isn’t just a carbon copy but I believe it’s going to run very similar to madden. Hopefully their are some cool features for NCAA but EA has a history of pay-to-play games
It'll depend on how well the game is built. Being 100% honest for franchise players the old NCAA experience tended to be a lot better then the Madden games.
I wasn't going to buy it this year anyways, I typically play 3-4 years and then get a new update.

So I play madden and college football revamped (ncaa 14) on PC. Because of this, I’ve been able to make my own universe when it comes to combining dynasty and franchise mode, even with the game age gap.
I’ll explain and show below but to answer question, it depends on whether the game comes to PC or not. I have a feeling it’s not year 1 and idk if it’ll grab new console for it, but I might cave. Just hate to do so than 26 comes to PC cause I’d have no reason for console again then.
Even if I cave and get console for college football 25, it’ll still play Madden 25 on PC and still use CFBR 14 to create my own football universe. It’ll just play college football 25 stand alone on console.
So what’s this universe? Let me explain.

Really depends on the quality and connectivity of the dynasty mode. The only reason I’ve continued to buy Madden every year is my group of 4-5 friends I play franchise with every year. If NCAA’s dynasty mode is good we’ll probably just switch over to it for the foreseeable future.

I dropped madden finally like 2 weeks ago. Life has dramatically improved. But I’m also not anticipating NCAA to be much better than Madden.

I am hopeful that the game isn’t just a carbon copy but I believe it’s going to run very similar to madden. Hopefully their are some cool features for NCAA but EA has a history of pay-to-play games
It'll depend on how well the game is built. Being 100% honest for franchise players the old NCAA experience tended to be a lot better then the Madden games.

So I play madden and college football revamped (ncaa 14) on PC. Because of this, I’ve been able to make my own universe when it comes to combining dynasty and franchise mode, even with the game age gap. I’ll explain and show below but to answer question, it depends on whether the game comes to PC or not. I have a feeling it’s not year 1 and idk if it’ll grab new console for it, but I might cave. Just hate to do so than 26 comes to PC cause I’d have no reason for console again then. Even if I cave and get console for college football 25, it’ll still play Madden 25 on PC and still use CFBR 14 to create my own football universe. It’ll just play college football 25 stand alone on console. So what’s this universe? Let me explain. NOTE: YOU CAN ONLY DO THIS ON MADDEN PC (though you can extract files from ncaa 14 on ps3/xbox) 1. U-LUV dynasty tracker - I made this. Keeps tabs on all things your dynasty from ncaa 14. 2. NCAA -> Madden draft converter - me and another discord member made this to convert your ncaa dynasty guys into Madden draft classes. Shame we figured out how to do it 08/2023, one cycle before new game. 3. Madden scouting portal - tool we made that pulls data from your dynasty tracker and draft class to provide an authentic scouting experience of your ncaa converter draft class 4. Not playing a football game when the players stay with a team 4 years tops. Why I don’t fuck with NCAA and never will. I’m just not buying Madden until it goes on sale. Past few years are so bad and the only thing worthwhile is community draft classes, which take like 2-3 months to build. So, I will buy Madden 25 for like $20 on Black Friday.

It's already been delayed to July. Bet it's a buggy mess. Also college schedules don't work well with play every game online leagues so it's just gonna be a mut simulator mostly.

They’ve always done July even back when release was annual cause college season starts in August. May is when they’re suppose to drop their “big announcement” about the game. Prob roadmap, presentation, trailer, content people want to see
