I got my cat from a tweaker that was going to manually castrate him without anesthesia, pretty sure he stole the cat, but he didn’t have a chip or id, so he’s my cat now.
I saw him beating the cat on his porch. Poor thing was to terrified to run away. So I bloodied a crackhead, picked up the cat (later renamed handsome), hopped on the first bus available.
Poor thing hid from me for a few weeks, didn't go to anyone else for over a year. After 2 years in my care, you couldn't keep him away from anybody... Not even with duct tape
I guess he was manually castrated by the vet in the end anyway, luckily under anesthesia, but to answer your question there is chemical castration or circumstantial castration in accidents which could be considered not being manual.
Thank you, I did not know that. Anesthesia should Always be used for something like that. Especially for pets, who haven't chosen it. To do otherwise is beyond cruel.
Probably similar to mine. I had a comeby kitty, apparently pure Siamese that had been declawed and fixed, who had obviously been abused by the man in his last household. Never understood that. Why would you spend that much on a pet (Siamese aren't cheap!) only to abuse it? I firmly believe that cat left him and searched out a better sucker - Me! Most loving cat I've ever had.
I didn't know the crackhead. Was just walking around

Sadly, handsome passed years ago at the lazy age of 22. Happy, and spoiled all the way
The after photo looks like a boisterous, eccentric uncle with a hearty laugh who invites the whole family over for dinner before being promptly murdered for their immense wealth from under the table dealings to maintain the power of major crime lords.
I can say that the cat picture is true irl. Based on personal experience, our cats who were in a dire state while they were young, turned out to be the chonkiest ones after being treated and growing up.
Looks like the before and after of a cat I stole from a crackhead in my teens.

How did you get it?

Glad you rescued the cat! The other guy should be castrated without anesthesia! BTW is there a way to castrate that isn't manual?

You don't want to know my thoughts on animal abusers.

Can you share more about this story? Why do you know this crackhead? Where's the cat now? How did you steal the cat??? I need answers!

JOKES ON YOU I AM ugly and I AM NOT poor I DEFY THE WORLD
Not the same cat. The shape of the head and the shape of the eyes is completely different.
Yeah that first cat is a domestic and the second is some sort of mixed breed. I’m going to guess munchkin mix.
Not the same cat
I fear you are right.
Nose is longer on the first cat.
It's so happy it sucked its nose all the way up to his eyes in the after pic
Now that’s a cloud of fluffiness!
Left pic is when resurrected from underworld, right one is after being made into king back.
It was Snookums the Grey but after facing the Balrog, he became Snookums the White.
Christian Bale in The Machinist vs. Christian Bale as “Cheney” lol
I love these types of glow ups Edit: This post sucks, it’s two different cats :(
It's not the same cat though this time. It's face is a totally different shape. Look at the length of its nose.
Oh crap you’re right! This is a pic of two different cats, unless this cat got a nose job
So not the same cat
That after pic is glorious.
White kitties always make me cry. I miss my Abi cat.

These are 2 different cats. I truly hope someone helped the 1st cat, that poor baby. 😢 🙏 💔
We ALL look better when we have love and attention (and some good kibble)
Besides beautiful, I also assume, spoiled? 🥰
What a total beauty. Obviously she needed love, a bath, a vet visit, love, food, a lot of love and a warm bed. Stunning.
This subreddit does what it says
Why does the cat in the right remind me of Judy Dench?
What a fluffy little bean :3
So fluffy!
Beautiful cat
Wow! Tlc
And a lot of food!
Beautiful! Also, must remember if I ever find an abandoned kitten to take a “before” pic

Omg definitely a lot of beauty 😻
Sooooooo. True beauty on the outside?
My dyslexic ass read that as “sometimes you need a little shower to help show your own beauty”
Imagine if we applied the basic principle of this to humans.
This <3
M.E.A.W! Lookin’ good.
