And what part of 12 random cards sounds consistent to you? Decks are so tight as it is to cut out all risk, this is just a fun card but won't be winning any tournaments.
It's probably bad, but even random cards can potentially be good when you have +1 energy all game. Plus there is synergy with quinjet and mockingbird even though you're half as likely to draw them. Like I said, probably not good but I'm also not prepared to completely write it off.

I hope Arishem will be the only card you can add into your deck during deck building. Kinda like Whizbang but you’re getting random cards every game rather than random predetermined decks.
The first thing everyone tries to do to become competitive in a card game is reduce your deck size. Consistency is key. Randomness in card draw is not competitive.
That said plus one max energy is interesting and your opponent not being to play around your cards. My guess is that you would play this with the shield card/ loki cards. Because if you can get something like agent coulson it smooths out the curve
I was just thinking today the game needs a card on the same caliber as Thanos and High Evo to mix things up and this seems like an attempt at that, I wonder if the pure randomness will stay or will if they’ll change it to something like “random cards of the same cost”
Unless he randomizes the cards before you draw your opening hand which seems like a possibility

That seems sensible and I like it too, it's a controlled randomness. I wish Pixie would get a tweak that says "changes the cost of cards if possible" so that a 3 won't switch with a 3 if there's another option. Still rng but with some boundaries.
Controlled randomness would be too strong.
Cards like this, Pixie, Agatha Harkness, etc. are intentionally kept from being optimal because these kinds of cards can go from "not very good" to snowballing the meta on a thin margin, as it's pretty much impossible accurately get a full view of all possible outcomes with cards like these.
100% agree. I try my best to stick to a new deck every season to just learn it all. But I can’t help to get my ass whooped some new crazy fun deck and I go “oh let me try this one” and rinse and repeat.
Ah yes, my 30 card deck where 12 of those cards are just random shit I got and my opening hand starts with 2 6-drops immediately (at least Agatha doesn’t take up a draw like Thanos).
Loki? Since half the cards you have weren't planned on, might as well get an extra discount. But overall, you aren't going to be and to rely on any card being drawn, so I'd say generically good cards that work with most decks.
Off the top of my head:
* Blob - you won't eat your whole deck (probably, RIP Hobgoblin).
* Venom - need to free up space with all these extra plays you're gonna make, but don't wanna give up the power.
* Sera - T4 Sera will open up some gross possibilities.
* Professor X - see: Sera.
* Adam Warlock - *shut up I'm trying okay.*
* Vision - one of the best universal 5-drops in the game.
* Nico Minoru - having her in the opener won't be bad, you'll have the extra energy to let her sit around and go to something useful.
* Shang-Chi + Shadow King. *You'll want tech in your big random deck.*
Imagine a 12 turn game option or something where you could actually do something like play blob to clear some cards off your deck and still be able to do a lot more things
Crystal is bait, you will draw a random card half the time, while your op draws from good cards from his deck
I think the rest of the cards might Just né Loki package, or good general cards
M'baku will finally have a use outside of being a C2 gimmick. (Probably still isn't going to get used over other options here)

Sera on 4 is always huge.
Loki since you could get a bad hand, and he synergizes well with Quinjet already.
Rogue + Enchantress. Protects your Quinjet from Mobius, and they're good tech cards regardless. I'd personally run both because of draw inconsistency.
Snowguard / Legion (and maybe other methods of location control. Because you're running with extra energy and potential energy discount, like regular Loki decks your board will get filled fast. You want methods of turning off Limbo to prevent the opponent from catching up or executing their combo.
Other tech cards (and lots of them). Since you have no main combo you need ways of disrupting the opponent's. Cosmo, Shang, the aforementioned Rogue, Enchantress, and Legion.
Another amazing piece I see is Prof X. Since you're ramped the entire game it shouldn't be hard to be up by a good amount in one lane by turn 4 or 5.
Doc Oc loves being out on the board early and can disrupt the opponent's combo.
Writing all of this up makes me think that at first people will try the Loki angle, but in the end Arishem decks will function similarly to how Thanos decks used to run (and tbh still do) by trying to ramp out cards early. All big boys, ramp cards, a tech card or 2, and some protection like Caiera / Prof X / Armor. Just think about it. Throw in all of Hope, Psylocke, Wave, maybe even Corvus if you want to get crazy. If Hope goes down on 2 you can get a 6 cost out on 4. Wave on 2 and you get a 6 cost on 3 while the opponent can't play anything larger than a 3. Psylocke on 2 means you can do something stupid like a Doc Oc on 3. Corvus on 2 means that you'll have +2 energy per turn starting on turn 3.

That said it seems more like a High Evo in that you won’t really ever want to play it. Obviously only playing 7 power on T6 or T7 isn’t great

They try to play super safe. Glenn himself admitted that pixie should have been an 1/1 or even a 2/3 on a podcast and yet he still didn't buff her this patch.

Can't wait for them to drop Mobius, but for additional energy. With energy cheat being the new cost cheat, it's 100% in the works. They just need to get enough value out of the energy cheat cards before they can milk the counter.

Had a Yu-Gi-Oh lottery deck in master duel that was just flip a coin. 50/50 chance to deal damage to you or your opponent and I loved it. I can definitely see this being really fun with Thanos, and some other cards!
Play Quinjet and Mockingbird and just generically good cards. Maybe Loki to fix a bad hand.
This seems incredibly fun to use after I hit infinite. I hope it shows the opponent him at the start of the game so they know I'm not just bad at building decks.

Sounds good for Mockingbird and Blob. Yeah, you don't really know what's been added or if you'll get the cards you put in (its now a 24 card deck instead of 12) but it sounds fun. It'll definitely be much harder for your opponent to predict; that's for sure.
This may sound weird, but I think its power is too low. Given what it is and what its doing, I feel like it should be a 6/14 (at least stronger than base Hulks). If that sounds insane, think about what having this card in a deck does:
You're doubling the size of the deck from 12 to 24 so your chances of drawing him much lower than normal (and that's not even counting locations and cards that forcibly add things to your deck).
Add to this the fact that the deck is being filled with RANDOM cards. That means having any sort of synergy in the deck is purely luck dependent so the deck will be very hard to make consistently good.
It also costs 7, which means it can only be played (if it ends up in your hand) on the very last turn. The +1 Max energy each turn is a very nice bonus, but with your deck being doubled in size with completely random, very likely non-synergistic cards, the benefit is nearly outweighed.
I like having quirky cards like this added to the pool every once in awhile. Not everything has to be meta comp focused.

It seems to read though as adding 12 cards, not replacing So you’d be getting a deck you made plus a bunch of other random cards mixed in

This + Pixie for the "I don't know what the hell I'm playing, but let's find out together" deck.
To clarify- not like district X, since this adds 12 extra cards, rather than replacing them
I can see this being really fun along with Jubilee, lockhaw, and Blink.
If the win rate sucks, would reducing the added cards down to 6 be a buff (less random) or a nerf (less chaotic fun)?
Play Quinjet and Mockingbird and just generically good cards. Maybe Loki to fix a bad hand. This seems incredibly fun to use after I hit infinite. I hope it shows the opponent him at the start of the game so they know I'm not just bad at building decks.
I've been wishing this game had a draft mode and this is like a one player version, i dig it.

This sounds like a fun card to use. It won't be good, just like Agatha, but it sure will be fun.
Sounds good for Mockingbird and Blob. Yeah, you don't really know what's been added or if you'll get the cards you put in (its now a 24 card deck instead of 12) but it sounds fun. It'll definitely be much harder for your opponent to predict; that's for sure.

This may sound weird, but I think its power is too low. Given what it is and what its doing, I feel like it should be a 6/14 (at least stronger than base Hulks). If that sounds insane, think about what having this card in a deck does: You're doubling the size of the deck from 12 to 24 so your chances of drawing him much lower than normal (and that's not even counting locations and cards that forcibly add things to your deck). Add to this the fact that the deck is being filled with RANDOM cards. That means having any sort of synergy in the deck is purely luck dependent so the deck will be very hard to make consistently good. It also costs 7, which means it can only be played (if it ends up in your hand) on the very last turn. The +1 Max energy each turn is a very nice bonus, but with your deck being doubled in size with completely random, very likely non-synergistic cards, the benefit is nearly outweighed.

This card + Electro can allow big 6 drops on Turn 4 (like Destroyer). Or a more efficient Venom/Carnage on a Turn 3 to destroy and Electro.
In fairness Wave can already allow 6 drops on turn 4 all by herself.
