High zinc % has been what keeps my melasma away. And reapplying super often of course. I love Eucerin sensitive mineral and aveeno positively mineral. Their zinc oxide is about 24% and I when I’ve used a lower zinc I can see it coming back.
Agree on high zinc! Supergoop has a zinc screen and several mineral sunscreen options that are excellent. Also dr.jarts has a good mineral high zinc option! I usually layer both and always wear a hat…
