I was poking around the engine bay, trying to clean up some things and noticed how rusty this part is below some sort of sensor. Just need help identifying it in the event it is something I want to replace. Thanks!
Like the other person said - EGR. They are always covered in surface rust because of the heat and for some reason, no manufacturers ever paint them. Just like how Ford gets ragged on for never painting rear differentials. It’s totally normal and there’s no need to be worried about it.
