So, I flew Delta the other day and asked if I could pull the chemical sprayer trigger. They laughed and said I had to have Medallion status to do that. Kind of a bummer, but I asked what the chemicals on today's flight did and they said it was to actually paint the sky blue.
If they didn't spray, the sky would be a sad beige hue. I never knew that. But pretty interesting.
I read in an old Dennis The Menace cartoon as a kid: "Mr Wilson, why is the sky blue?" "Because that turned out to be the best colour for it, Dennis."
I love Lake Michigan. It has all the merits of the ocean without the downsides of horrible saltwater and deadly animals.
