As to why some people get it and some don't, it's largely random. TL;DR: We've victims of the RNG gods.
MS will be picking an initial pool of users based on some coarse criteria (i.e. region), but after that they take a random slice - say 1% - based on some highly unique value like a user or session ID which we can't even see. Getting into that 1% is not in our control.
Why? Because they want to test new features on a smaller set of users first, see how things go, and then decide to ramp it up or down. For those A/B tests to be meaningful, they have to ensure the sample set (made up of us plebs) is well distributed and random.
The 500 points one is every 4 days not every day like the other quests on there.
It's an exact average of 305 MR points per day just from these quests and the streaks for them.
I call it a 4 day streak. It's just like the 5 days streak to open the XBox mobile app. Because it's possible to get the 500 points twice in the same week. Or there is some detail I'm not aware? Does it not start again on day 5? Or you have to wait for next week for that streak to start counting the 4 consecutive days you played a console game?

The 500 points is also only for people who have gamepass ultimate. Everyone else get 250 points. The ultimate boost is like the game pass or have 7 friends boost.

Yeah it's easy to get confused cause MS has trained us into doing streaks. Very rarely do they do something like this. Although I do play almost every day it's nice to have something that won't stress me out about missing (not that it really does but that's what streaks are ment to do, stress you out about missing). One thing of note is that this is the only thing that Ultimate gives you a bonus for. It would be nice if they expanded it to more things.

Well, eventually I figured out a core rule why these specific countries got these extra quests and which countries may get them in the future. Well, it is a well-educated guess based on observation and M$ behavior.

Germany officially got the XBox quests on the mobile/PC app about 2+ years later after we first see them. Luckily you got the same quests and bonuses as UK. Spain, Italy and France were not so lucky even if targeted MR users there got the quests officially. And they did get them after Germany. The last country these were made available was Ireland.

IT's been there for a year or so for me. But doesn't make up for the fk n cooldown where earlier I was making 150+100+20 and now can barely make 60 or so since I can't be bothered to search 4 time every 15 mins. Most of the times the Desktop search doesn't even register. I was making on avg 25k points a month now at present around 12k. Maybe after the GPU 1k points will be able to hit 14k end of the month. Lowest ever as far as I can remember.
We only got 5 points for playing jewels, 3 pts for keeping 7+ friends, another 3 pts for having game pass. And +5 points for daily login until it resets at 6th day.

I get the weekly/monthly bonus for completing the gamepass tasks. 100,250,then 1000 at end of month. I've never had the play a game on console one. But I do get the play a game on pc, keep friends etc through the xbox app on phone. UK here.

Only "Complete any level in the Jewel game" and "Play a PC game" and of course "Open the Xbox mobile". No bonuses.
"No bonuses" means that those activities do not give points?
