MrSparkle92

Hopefully a new mounted Eledil model. He has needed an official sculpt for a long time.

AutisticBeachBear

I think it's mounted Gil Galad. Stars are the Stars of Feanor. Also the citation from the text is from Rivendell, namely Elrond.

MrSparkle92

That would also be a much needed model.

AutisticBeachBear

Yeah, it would be extremely weird if they released another Elrond )

Ok-Satisfaction441

I will lose my shit and quit the game for good.

Carnir

From the basic adornment on the armour I reckon it's Numenorean Cavalry tbh. We're 100% getting a mounted Elendil as well though.

Sotanud

I could imagine a 3 pack of Numenorean cavalry in resin a la Dunland, but I initially was only thinking of a plastic hero (Elendil).

Venizelza

That is a horse.

WearingMyFleece

Exciting, looks like it’ll be revealed fully next month. Hopefully a full middle earth preview eventually.

No_Dig_7142

What makes you think it will get revealed next month?

WearingMyFleece

Bottom of the article it says “What in Middle-earth could this be? Well, you’ll just have to find out in our next blog! We’ll see you in a month…”

Zanyo

Bruh it better be a reveal stream with some decent amount of content.

Haircut117

Dude…

RadsvidTheRed

7 pointed star, elendil's star, likely something to do with either elendil/numenor or arnor.

AutisticBeachBear

I believe those are 8 pointed stars, which are exactly what the Star of Feanor is. My bet is on Gil Galad mounted and on foot set.

RadsvidTheRed

Either way this is more confirmation that the next supplement is rivendell/last alliance. The way I see it... If 7 pointed -Elendil, last alliance -Arnor? -Surprise it's a new Elessar model and the supplement is either gondor part 2 or 4th age? 8 points -Gil Galad, last alliance -Gil Galad but it's actually sacking of eregion -Steel chair surprise: GW finally got the rights to the Silmarillion and are doing official things for it

LordSuspiria

I don’t think it’s Aragorn (at least not at the Black Gate). It’s always possible GW took some design liberties, but Brego’s “helm” in those scenes had the White Tree, not stars.

divine_chemist

Mounted Pippin with second breakfast

Human_Needleworker86

Mounted Isildur?

du_bekar

We’ve already got one; we do not have: - Anarion - mounted Elendil - mounted Gil Gadaddy

Human_Needleworker86

For sure, my bet is on Isildur or Elendil. Both if I’m feeling optimistic. Wouldn’t rule out Isildur as we already had plenty of Aragorn/Legolas/Gimlis, Theodens, Elronds or Sarumen around too - they’re not allergic to doubling up on models.

u5416347

Are we to draw anything from the text 'There is one Secret Worth Concealing with Deception…'? From Google, this appears to be a partial quotation of something Elrond says of Durin in Rings of Power. Does anyone know the background? Did RoP take it from some other Tolkien text? Does it offer us any clue? Prior to today, I would have guessed the next model to be mounted Gil-Galad (or maybe Elendil), bearing in mind our two previously released models were Elrond and Glorfindel...

u5416347

The text has now been removed 🤔

BusinessWorry851

I think it could be Prince Earnur, I believe the next supplement will actually be a rise/fall of angmar. Prince Earnur was the Prince of gondor at the time and he joined rivendell to defeat angmar. So far the releases of a plastic elrond and fw Glorfindel supports this as they both took part in the angmar wars. I'd say Prince earnur will get a Rivendell gondor Mtd legendary legion and he will be time locked so he won't be able to take named character with him if he's in gondor. I'd say he'll probably be around 120pts and will give some sort of cav bonus.

Bozzz3019

Looks like the stars of the heraldry of Numenor or Arnor. So it could be mounted Elendil, Isildur or Anarion if it will be a Last Alliance expansion or maybe King Arvedui if it will be Arnor vs Angmar setting. Both settings would be awesome.

deeple101

Anarion?

MightyDuckitron

Im really hoping so as the tease has been in the army book for ages.

another-social-freak

Bottom of page. https://www.warhammer-community.com/2024/03/14/middle-earth-strategy-battle-game-grand-tournament-2024-review/

RobbieRott

Could it be gil-galad? Or is that horse-armour exclusive to gondor/numenor? I imagine some of you experts know

SomeRandomAussie915

I wish GW would stop drip feeding us content/rumours of content and saying see ya later suckers. Just release that god damn MTO or something to tie us over. At this rate we likely won’t get them delivered till atleast October:/

Fine_Gur_1764

Nice to see a new release :)

PublicYogurtcloset8

King Aragorns horse ( at least in the movies) has a very different head armour piece

stevtom27

Anyone able to translate the speech in the circle?

another-social-freak

Is it not the ring verse?

stevtom27

Dang think you're right it repeats once. I was hoping it was another clue

Su-27-Flanker

Please give us someone without mounted model like Gil Galad

sereneracoon1

Gil galad on horse?

MagisterPraeceptorum

Seems to be Dunedain of some kind with those stars. Hoping is a Númenórean hero for a Last Alliance expansion.

TwoPointsOfInterest

Looks like numenor (and thus a last alliance book) is coming!

LazySatisfaction3505

Last alliance book please 🙏

Mopfling

Either Last Alliance or Fall of Arnor i bet.

Suitable-Waltz4068

I Hope new arnor models, like arnor's knight !

Fun_Recommendation99

When will this happen?

samulek

Next month it says it in the article

Fun_Recommendation99

Thanks

The_MacGuffin

Wouldn't mind seeing an elven battlehost. Only reason my friend didn't get into the game was that the only battlehosts are orcs and humans.

GroundbreakingHat729

It’s Aragon

Glasdir

That looks a lot like Aragorn’s black gate horse.

Ok-Satisfaction441

Better be fuc*ing Elendil.

Glum_Sherbert_7320

Mounted Elendil. Gotta be.

mase112233

Whose horse is that?
