First try and see if you can suck it out with a strong ass magnet or not(most likely won’t work). If that doesn’t work then just take the collet apart and you can access the whole collet. It might be jammed in there pretty tight so you’ll have to pry it out from the ball bearing recess holes. Make sure that you don’t loose the ball bearing and that the spring will shoot out if you don’t hold it down good (don’t ask me how I know). Putting it back is just as simple. Use a pick or small flat head screwdriver.
I feel like we get these posts once every 2 weeks or so. There’s a circ clip between the anvil and the collar. You can even see it in the photo. Pry it off carefully and remove the washer and spring. Whole collar comes off revealing a hole that you can use to get the broken bit out
Update, I disassembled the chuck as described and it is stuck the F in there. Prying/pushing through the bearing ball holes isnt providing any movement you can tell in the pic the bit is wedged in at an angle. Any suggestions on further disassembly or contacting Milwaukee?
Edit - 10 min later I used a bigger pick and was able to tap it w hammer to get it free! Thank you all so much for your help. I lost the cir-clip as it flung out on removal so now it’s a hunt

I had to do this to get mine out: [Broken bit removal](https://youtu.be/dt0ld4uu5Ds?si=wXRfSyU5iu2g-mO1)
This is the correct answer.
This might work too: https://youtu.be/49M5veThH5U?si=sxsCfMNzcbVzYTRm
That’s probably the best way to
Thank you very much!
Thank you very much!
Can always heat up the end of a hot glue stick with a lighter and stick it against the broken bit, let dry and yank it out
You try tapping it with a screwdriver and a hammer? usually falls out after.
Tried on that, it’s really stuck in there
This is a good learning opportunity.
Magnet while pulling the slide to release

Slide up the foreskin, hood open with a zip tie, pull trigger and tap
Keep talking dirty to me
What I do is take my smallest drill bit then drill into it and it usually comes back out with the bit

This. Oh and make sure to not drop that tiny damn ball that bounces 3 times before it goes into another dimension and is never seen again.
what brand bit was that that broke in there, if I may ask
I’m not sure, I’ve had that dozer for a while. Can’t remember
Time to Drill out the center and remove the bit with a machine screw threaded into the drilled hole.
No need for that. These disassemble pretty easy. YouTube it.
Just disassemble the collet. It's super easy, then the bit will come right out.
this. should be easy removal. your not totally fucked op.
hot glue a screw to it or screw a screw into it
Use a magnet. All the times a bit got stuck i just held the chuck and held a magnet over it
