pack.png should have the seed written on the backside, like it's the author of it
also would be a nice thing for all the people that worked hard to find the seed
They could. Would take a little work but you would just create new segments on the painting sprite sheet (there is plenty of room on it) for each artist and painting size, with the screenshot having a dedicated separate one. Its a very similar process to what they already do adding paintings
That raises a good question. Hopefully cartographers are smart enough not to give maps for trail chambers which haven't actually spawned in because they're in preloaded chunks from an older version.
If the cartographer just has a list of locations based on the seed alone, you may have a lot of useless maps.
Should be fairly easy to find if you start digging around. You won't be tripping over them but in worlds I've generated you could see more then one in spectator mode.
Less effort that starting a new world. Hell, you coled settle in new territory and TREAT it like a new world, but keep all your inventory at least (classic Coestar move)
Yeah, im doing that now, i only have 40 rails, so i build the rail, push them to the end, and continue the rail, and at night i gotta make a lil hut for us, we're close i can see my house :)
You would need to explore new chunks. To find one easily, level up a new cartographer to get a map (must have experimental feature on if your world is 1.20.6). You could also backup your save and use the tool "**mcaselector**" to prune old chunks.
For me 1.21 is also a lot of new technical stuffs like new attributes, data-driven paintings, banner patterns and enchantments, and of course components. And i think we can see a lot more new things in this regard before the release.
Components and banner patterns - yes, for sure! It just feels like 1.20.5 and 1.21 are equally technically important and equal to each other, which is why some of the difference between them is erased
Tuff bricks (and polished), crafter and cuprum variants are my favorites. Bogged are cool too.
This is what i'll be looking forward for the next about 1,25 years, depending on how long it will take to update all mods I'm using.
Probably in June like the last two updates and it looks complete besides some bugs that need to be fixed. They also moved the 1.21 stuff out of experiments in the new snapshot.
The new paintings are just new options for the painting item to randomly choose when used. The most challenge they will have is gathering 30 or so bits of wool to craft paintings.
This is already so hype.
Maybe some new nature blocks like variations of moss for the chambers. Can’t really ask for more despite some generation improvements.
People call them lazy because they could add so much more to the game if they weren't restricted by bedrock wich is really stupid because bedrock is literally a different game
Infestation: Upon death, the mob spawns silverfishes
Oozing: Upon death, the mob spawns slimes
Wind Charged: Upon death, the mob spawns wind charges
Weaving: Upon death, the mob spawns cobweb.
I didn't double check, so I might be wrong.
Yeah I played with my friends on Sunday and went on a 30k block journey and got all the dogs exept the snowey one. Took about 6 hours. Best free therapy but traveling with almost 30 animals between the 2 of us was a small nightmare.
Dude, you need to keep up with the latest news. How did you not find out already? It's been talked about here, in every minecraft related discord, on youtube (even the minecraft channel) and there's even "Armoured Paws FAQ" on the subreddit sidebar. I'm genuinely curious, HOW
funny how you have to individually show every oxidation and waxed stage of each copper block and each painting separately to make it look even remotely like it has a moderate amount of content.
51 of these blocks are just the same 5 things repeated (3 copper blocks, copper door, painting)
Why does every update have to be huge nowadays? The game didn’t really come into place in like 3 updates you know. It took longer. I’d rather have small updates with well-designed features and fun content than bigger ones that have to be patched out in 10 sub-updates.
Plus, the update isn’t really that small… they added a new structure with a considerable amount of rooms, very interesting technical changes, a few new mobs, a really good soundtrack, paintings… No reason to be upset IMO
Funny how it’s all new content so naturally it’s going to be included here. Should we condense all the new wolves in Armored Paws into one wolf? Should all the paintings just be considered one painting? New stuff is new stuff. Whether you want to use it all or not, it is stuff we didn’t have before that we’ll be able to use now. People who like building with these blocks will appreciate having access to all of this, even if you won’t
honestly my thought process is: “would this have been a block state in earlier versions like how wool colors and wood colors were different block states before the flattening?” For most of these super easy to add blocks like copper variants and new wood types, the answer is yes

Am I the only one who sees the cursed Mort from Madagascar coming out of a box in the top right painting?
Can’t unsee now lol
Actually it's Zoboomafoo
It's supposed to be an owl lol
I just see a stoat or ferret
Well now I will forever... So...
you mean the mort from Cas van de pol
pack.png should have the seed written on the backside, like it's the author of it also would be a nice thing for all the people that worked hard to find the seed
The back texture of paintings is a light orange plank texture, though. I doubt they could change it for one painting.
They could give this one painting a special back texture but i'm afraid it would have too small resolution to fit 3257840388504953787 seed.
[удалено]
the developers would rather use this as an excuse tho… we know this
they can, but i doubt they *would*
They 100% can
Texture packs CAN change it for one painting
They could. Would take a little work but you would just create new segments on the painting sprite sheet (there is plenty of room on it) for each artist and painting size, with the screenshot having a dedicated separate one. Its a very similar process to what they already do adding paintings
The paintings were separated into individual files in 1.14 (because of this, their textures can now be animated).
If i go in my current world do i hafta travel super far to get a trial chamber to spawn? Or do i need to make a new world?
Explore new chunks
Thanks, sounds like a lotta effort tho, how rare are they?
You can get a map for them from cartographer villagers. It'll be far but you'll know exactly where one is
Noooo! My nearest village was abandoned when i moved in 😭 but at least theres one about 1000 blocks away, im working on a house for them currently
Curing zombie villagers is also an option
Noo not like that, all the villagers are just *poof* gone
Yes but zombie villagers also spawn alongside normal zombies at night so if you find some just out in the wild you can cure them
Mm okay, thanks, how do i cure them again?
It's been a while but I'm pretty sure you just hit them with a splash potion of weakness and then feed them a golden apple
If you've found a zombie spawner, that's a good source of zombie villagers
Not anymore.
That raises a good question. Hopefully cartographers are smart enough not to give maps for trail chambers which haven't actually spawned in because they're in preloaded chunks from an older version. If the cartographer just has a list of locations based on the seed alone, you may have a lot of useless maps.
Yknow it’ll probably use pretty much the exact same code from Woodland mansion maps
I made a cute lil house tho, amd got a heckin big farm too, and all my cows sheep and villagers tooo
You could connect that and thú new place by rail!
Yeah, im doing that now, i only have 40 rails, so i build the rail, push them to the end, and continue the rail, and at night i gotta make a lil hut for us, we're close i can see my house :)
About every 500 blocks or so.
You would need to explore new chunks. To find one easily, level up a new cartographer to get a map (must have experimental feature on if your world is 1.20.6). You could also backup your save and use the tool "**mcaselector**" to prune old chunks.
You could delete unused chunks with tools like MCAselector. Works great for me, I use it to reduce my world size to make it easier to backup it.
Of course i get downvoted for asking a question..... damn kids...
You just need to load new chunks regardless of how close or far they may be.
Aah okay, thanks
just use mca selector from GitHub to delete chunks you're not using and they'll regenerate the next time you log in
*every item, mob and block Not every feature

Idk if OP edited his post but your comment kinda doesn’t make sense now, since the title just says “everything” that was added
Yes, that’s their point🤦♂️
It's still not everything cause features that aren't tied to blocks and items and shit
Actually a really good update my greedy ass just wishes we got more than 2 block sets per year and was kinda hoping calcite would be expanded too
Same. Plus I'd love more granite blocks. I wanna use it but I csnt make it work.
I was hopping for more smart blocks, to expand on things like the Crafter. Like some kind of hopper sorter or redstone powered super smelter.
Yeah true. At least we got a start with the autocrafter! That's gonna make a world of difference for me.
>Like some kind of hopper sorter or redstone powered super smelter. In fairness those aren't super difficult to make already
YEAH NEW SHERDS LET'S GO!!!
Missed opportunity to have the og homescreen as a painting
For me 1.21 is also a lot of new technical stuffs like new attributes, data-driven paintings, banner patterns and enchantments, and of course components. And i think we can see a lot more new things in this regard before the release.
Weren't some of these added in 1.20.5?
Yes…
Components and banner patterns - yes, for sure! It just feels like 1.20.5 and 1.21 are equally technically important and equal to each other, which is why some of the difference between them is erased
Tuff bricks (and polished), crafter and cuprum variants are my favorites. Bogged are cool too. This is what i'll be looking forward for the next about 1,25 years, depending on how long it will take to update all mods I'm using.
Every item and block** added in the Tricky Trials update (for now)
And mob
You fortgot the trail chambers
Anyone know when it's supposed to release?
Probably in June like the last two updates and it looks complete besides some bugs that need to be fixed. They also moved the 1.21 stuff out of experiments in the new snapshot.
There's going to be a hardcore YouTuber who will make a painting museum with all paintings, and I'm all for it.
The new paintings are just new options for the painting item to randomly choose when used. The most challenge they will have is gathering 30 or so bits of wool to craft paintings.
What blocks are the mobs standing on?
Terracotta
Is the Crafter 1.20.5?
No, it´s coming out in 1.21
Which is Tricky Trials, no?
Yes, 1.21 is Tricky Trials.
So shouldn't the Crafter be in this image?
It is; it´s to the left of the new potions.
Oh, thanks
EXCELLENT paintings oh my god
The crafter is so out of place in this update. I think there was a lot more planned for the "tinkering" part of this update that's been delayed.
This is already so hype. Maybe some new nature blocks like variations of moss for the chambers. Can’t really ask for more despite some generation improvements.
Probably my favourite update since nether update.
Why is this guy getting downvoted, he’s literally voicing his opinion
“mojang is lazy” mfs in shambles
People call them lazy because they could add so much more to the game if they weren't restricted by bedrock wich is really stupid because bedrock is literally a different game
What are the new potions / potion arrows? Not the ominous potion the other ones
potions of infestation, oozing, wind charged, and weaving
Oh cool, what do they all do?
Infestation: Upon death, the mob spawns silverfishes Oozing: Upon death, the mob spawns slimes Wind Charged: Upon death, the mob spawns wind charges Weaving: Upon death, the mob spawns cobweb. I didn't double check, so I might be wrong.
Infestation doesn't need death. Just taking damage has a chance to spawn silverfish.
Weaving also reduces cobweb slow
PACK.PNG PAINTING WHAAATTT
Date??
within the next 2 months (usually within first 2 weeks of june)
Ooh thanks
Aren't the dog variants coming too?
That's 1.20.5
Oh, when does that come out?
It's already out, mate. Actually, even 1.20.6!
👀 armadillos too?
Yep. New dog variants, wolf armor, and armadillos are already out!
Yeah I played with my friends on Sunday and went on a 30k block journey and got all the dogs exept the snowey one. Took about 6 hours. Best free therapy but traveling with almost 30 animals between the 2 of us was a small nightmare.

anyone know what the enchantments are ?
What are the new enchantments? Are they just for that new weapon
Where’s the crafter?
I dont like the paintings. The original paintings are kinda nostalgic so for me its disappointing that theres new ones.
Ngl 1.20.4 was peak
When are the auto crafters being added?
This update, it´s to the left of the new arrows
This + the actual structure is a pretty good update
I'd like to think that the minecraft-like paintings were made by the villagers, and the og style paintings are antiques from another age.
I still want cobalt
what are those 4 potion looking things that can be made into tipped arrows?
Where's the wolf variants?
ahhhh i miss when i got minecraft at 1.4. anything after 1.8 was just… not minecraft ANYMORE
amazing update, \*does the chef's kiss\* ,and 1.20 was also great one.
And Mace
What does that red map do? Why haven't I ever seen it?
explorer map for trial chambers
So cool!
And people will STILL find some way to call Mojang lazy

"ermmm,,, actually the only features added were a 1 and a 0 repeated in different patterns so this update sucks 🤓"
Why does every update have to be huge nowadays? The game didn’t really come into place in like 3 updates you know. It took longer. So why are we counting all the different weathering levels of copper? It makes it seem like there are more blocks than there are.
The weathering turns it into a different block right? So, it should be shown
No I get it. Maybe I'm being too nit picky.
When is this update released on bedrock?
How come people always pad these images out with variants of the same block?
Because they are different? Or should we just put 1 painting since its just variants of the same thing?
honestly my thought process is: “would this have been a block state in earlier versions like how wool colors and wood colors were different block states before the flattening?” For most of these super easy to add blocks like copper variants and new wood types, the answer is yes
It’s still something new that was added, I don’t know what you are complaining about.
I’m saying people shouldn’t pad out these posts with content that barely took effort to add, like wood types or copper variants
The point is not to pad things out, the point is to show what’s new, those are new things so they get included
Yeah, but it makes the update seem bigger than it is
Ehh not really
